It was fun and more then I expected, $15 per person, they search your trunk for alcohol if you have a cooler , they have a pretty spacious Sloan restroom area, you can rent out a lifevest with an exchange of your license and then get it back once you’re done. If someone is lost they would speak it over the intercom and if it’s been long enough they clear out the the waters until the person is found and everyone can then go back. They have a little breaks in between in the waters. Sometimes hard to hear what they say over the intercoms. Lots of space for families to sit and eat way more benches then I expected all through the parking lots, you can bring your grill out and they have some just bring everything else you need for it and You can pack your own stuff. They have things to sell like food, sweets, ices and more. There is a kids area to play in like a playground with water, And waterslides for the kids. Waterslides for the adults and a swing to Jump into the water’s, diving boards for all sizes adults, teens and kids. Also a shallow part for kids and babies to play, pass the boarder is the deep part and they have something to separate it. Loved this place and we will be going again especially with more family.

Way super overcrowded. Was a safety hazard. No parking control, took almost 30 minutes just to get out of there.

We came here on a Saturday, we had a lot of fun. It was crowded but plenty of parking space, we could drive up close to the lake and set up a big cover tent and could look over the lake. Kids had a blast, the atmosphere is very good. Around the high jump board a crowd forms in the water: kids, adults, small and big do jumps and the crowd cheers them up. It was so hilarious. There are plenty of slides and lower board jumps, so cool. No Alcohol or pets allowed, and when you try: security checks every car going in. This is perfect: no agressive people and no aggressive pets. Lot of safety checks, two times a day a headcount so nobody is missing. We were impressed. Had a great day. We left an hour for closing, I think if you leave at closing it might be busy getting out, so recommend leaving a bit earlier. Really recommend going there for families with kids ages 4 and up.

Great place to spend the day without hurting your wallet. It's just $15 to get in, and you have free roam of the place. Little to no wait times on slides, diving boards, and trapeze. Food shack is tasty.

We went to Burger Lake last summer and had an absolute BLAST! My 3 boys absolutely loved it and fun was had by us all. We all ended up bacon burnt and crispy fried..but the experience was fun and relaxing. We cant wait for our next trip!

Awful experience … I have been here twice 3 years ago and the water was so appealing and inviting, it was blue at least and today I am sooo disappointed . The water stings and the color is kind of dirty, chemical green, looks disgusting. ( Look closely at the top of the little fountain ).Don’t come here.

Very nice family oriented place to visit on a hot summer day. Place was not too full and amenities are all reasonable. Guessing the pool was greener than usual due to the extreme heat.

I googled “best day trips near Dallas” and this was the first place that came up. The website made it look so appealing so we took the hour drive and I spent the $15/person for my family to get in. What a total disappointment and nothing close to what was advertised on the website. Lake? Not even close. More like a man made pond with disgusting green/brown water that’s overcrowded and probably a breeding ground for STDs and bacterial infections. Good luck finding a place to sit, let alone in the shade. Sandy white beaches do not exist here so I have no idea why the website says that. This is like Disney Land for trailer parks but I wouldn’t even let my kids swim in it. Absolutely not. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

Me and the family came here and then a day or so later me and my brother started experiencing symptoms of hand, foot, mouth disease. So ya’ll be careful and disinfect what ya’ll can before you or your kids touch it (i.e a bench or a table)
