This use to be private property a few years back & me & my buddy had to sneak on the property on the west end, by the railroad tracks to fish. There is an abundance of Black Bass in this lake, with the right technique & lure you should pull a bass out every other cast around a pound or two. I have caught several around the 4-5 lb range & it wouldn't surprise me if someone pulled one out in the 7-8 lb range. This place is somewhat secluded so be suspicious of your surroundings & strange people. WATCH WHERE YOU STEP BECAUSE THERE ARE TONS OF WATER MOCCASINS & WATER SNAKES EVERYWHERE!

Doesnt look anything like those waterfall pics in the reviews. All dried up and tons of gnats everywhere.lake is more like a swamp plus its so hard to get there. gps took us to a neighborhood and we had to drive around to find where to even enter the trail.

Great walking and biking paths, just watch for others. It would be much better if there was a play ground in one of the many unused areas where nothing grows.

Had a fun time out here fishing and hiking with my dog. It’s a great trail, has a well maintained fishing dock and easy access to a spillway area. Caught no fish but my husband caught a small bluegill. Some turtle activity but not overrun with them.

Bugs and bass and lots of folks. Generally you'll catch crappie and sunfish. If you're trying to catch something big....good luck. Found this little guy down by the falls

Seen a huge catfish on the bank. Lots of turtles and sunfish to catch. Bout all I got there except a small bass.

So pleasant and fun to walk around

Its a nice little park with a short trail and a small lake. You can fish here, watch birds and walk around with pets. Usually quiet. You can also take a hike into the woods for adventure. We did that and it was fun. It will end at the railway track.

Had an awesome time fishing here about 2 weeks ago. Me and my two boys all caught a little sunfish. Came back and moss has taken over the dock. Lost a bottom hooked plastic fish lure and didn’t catch a thing, while gettin eaten by mosquitos closer to sun fall.

DOES ANYONR KNOW THIS LAKE SITES OPEN HOURS? IS THERE ANY PLACE TO SWIM AND A SHORELINE AT THIS LAKE SITE? ALSO DOES IT COST ANYTHING TO VISIT OR SWIM AT THIS LAKE SITE? PLEASE ANSWER ASAP.
