Came to the zoo during our vacation. For the price it was a really great zoo. Price of a bottle of water was 5$ but it's a very nice zoo. Definitely worth seeing if your in the area. Buy tickets online and avoid the lines.

Very expensive, Wednesdays are good because it's half price. We did the train ride. We sat on the train ride for 5-10 mins and it was over. For $4 a person which I brought 4 of my kids so for $20 was not really worth it. I remember going to the zoo and it was affordable. $5 to park not bad. I bought my tickets online. Really recommended because I didn't have to wait in long ticket line. Lots of places to eat. Access to public and family restrooms. Not many animals were there but the ones that were there were very active which made it very entertaining. Park was clean workers were helpful. The weather was nice so we had a good time. It closed at 5pm we arrived at 1pm with enough time to sit down and eat and see all the animals.

Zoo is large and spread out evenly. So it never feels crowded. It's always clean and staff is friendly staff as well. We got yearly passes to go back to enjoy it without feeling rushed.

My kids love the petty barn at the zoo. The animals are calm, the place is clean and they have hand wash area. They have brushes to brush the goats and the kids have fun doing it. There's carousel and train right next to it, so if you're with kids, it's definitely worth the walk.

Great zoo but a lot things in the children's section were not working, as a member this is why we came. Grandson is 3 years old and loves the train and the different attractions in the barn was disappointed this visit.

It is a nice experience for everyone that love farm animals specially for little ones. You can brush a goat hair, so that I traction with the animals is very fun.

They had so much for children, and adults, to be able to interact with the animals! Feeding the giraffes was a fun experience and they had a zoo keeper there to educate us about the animals. The kids loved feeding the sting rays! I am partial to the farm animals, especially the bunny rabbits. They have a great design for their zoo.

The petting barn at the Fort Worth Zoo was pretty neat. My kids all got to enjoy live animals up close. There is just something neat about the farm life.

It was super fun, we got to pet and brush goats. While I was taking a picture of a goat a kid picked up the brush that I had laid on the ground in front and me and he babbled if it was mine (he was quite little). I told him it was but he could take it if he wanted, he then handed me his brush and ran of with mine. I think this is what people call friendship. The goats were also very docile and didn't really care that we were there. I have bad experiences with goats before but these ones were nice.

I had so much fun and didn't know they had an area where you can feed giraffes (you just have to pay for a voucher). I bought my tickets online so there was no wait.

Our 3 year old grandson loved this. Being able to brush the goats with the staff right there teaching him how to do it. Another staff member right there to clean up any mess from the goats. And an area to wash hands before/after petting animals

The kids enjoyed it!!! My son is on the spectrum. Usually he never leaves the wagon when we are out and about. He was excited to see the animals and walked around the zoo the whole time we were there. We went on a Friday and got there before it opened. It wasn't too crowded which was nice. It was very hot but we stayed hydrated. Had lunch inside and continued to walk around until we left.

It's a great interactive area for the littles! It's mainly just a bunch of goats you can pet and brush. They have 2 pot belly pigs πŸ– but those are corralled off. And I think perhaps you can feed the goats or pigs but the bins were empty when we were there. My only complaint would be that they need more variety like chick's or ducks or something πŸ€” πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ... Oh and there is a watering station so you can clean off after πŸ™‚

Not to big to walk through it. A little disappointed because they are doing renovations so not all animals were there. All and all enjoyed the day.

I absolutely love the petting barn at the fort worth zoo. I love how it is so open and you can go right in with the goats. Such a nice experience for hands on animal experience.

We love this zoo. I do wish they still had paper maps because the layout is a bit confusing. They have a map online but the kids wanted to carry around their own map. The zoo was clean and most of the animals were out. No sharks though. At the petting zoo the goats are very friendly. We skipped the water park so I have no review on that. Make sure you pack water because the drinks from the vending machine are $4.

The congestion of traffic was really bad leaving you need to get there early like 8:30ish to not be in the back of the line but definitely buy your tickets ahead of time I went on a Wednesday half off day it was another reason it was crowded

The Animals were either asleep or dead, because they did not move. I felt your sadness.. The giraffe, the elephant, the hippopotamus looked magnificent. But I still wish they were free

The lines were very long because of spring break; understandable. But when we finally get real close to show our tickets we were told to make sure you have your online tickets ready because the zoo doesn't have wifi. This caused us to get out of line to ask for tickets to print. Back again in line... It would be nice if they had instructions before purchasing and after online purchase. Also, signs or more employees letting us know. Also, verbal directions or signs letting us know with which line to stand. Several customers had to ask each other. Other than that I love the elephants as they are very sweet with each other and the monkeys. 😁

A place that everyone loves! We enjoy feeding the giraffes and exploring part of the African Savannah. Wonderful experience for kids and families ☺️
