A great place to connect with nature, yourself, and your friends and family. You can swim, fish, sail your boat, eat, read, or hike around. It’s crowded and loud on Sundays, especially around noon, but during the week and early in the morning there is more peace and quiet there. Many restaurants are located very close.

Lake Worth Lake is a jewel for Fort Worth and the DFW area. Only 10 minutes from downtown, it features power and sail boating as well as a variety of water sports.

Amazing Lake to fish and just be on. Bank has a little trash here and there but not that bad. Boat ramps & docks are pretty clean and fairly well cared for. Free Bank fishing in several places. VERY cheap for boating. $20 bucks for a WHOLE YEAR pass. All species of fish are great here. The Reserve is awesome.. Love seeing the Gators and variety of animals in the Reserve. One of my Top 5 lakes to fish on in the DFW area.

North side of goat island is tight for boarding. We get pulled over almost every time we're out on the water for normal safety checks. You'll get a ticket if you park your truck-trailer without first getting a parking permit. Sitting under the runway is pretty neat too

Not very nice people or PD officers very rude cocky and need to be replaced. Don't go to the Dennys or Holiday Inn Express both places need to fire management as harassing certain people is illegal. I was shocked when the manager at Dennys stopped me from entering stating that since I was homeless ( which I am not ) that I could not stay and eat but no to go order either! When I ask why she thought I was homeless she shoved 2 dollars in my hand and yelled" I'm calling LWPD!" to which I replied "ok and for what?" She said "cause I can" stunned I looked at her and said" I have a home in Lewisville and even if I was homeless why is that reason to refuse my business?" This crazy lady said "Get OUT!" I replied " You will regret this this is discrimination and I will talk to your boss!" I turned to leave and still had the 2 bucks in hand so I put it on the hostess stand and said and I don't need your money!" I was furious I go to a clinic in Lake Worth and I have eaten there maybe 10 times always paid always had great servers whom I tipped always. So I was shocked but not just for me but for people who are homeless as if they aren't going through enough. I have contacted the DM on LinkedIn but no reply so I'm doing this review hopefully they get the attention they deserve at least the woman who did this , she should not be representing Dennys if she acted alone but if she was told to treat people this way something must be done.

Pretty lake with big catfish. If you don't have a boat. You half to walk long ways to fish

saw an alligator and it almost bit my feet off. would NOT reccomend!!!!

I wish wasn't there but there's a lot I could say about this area which just says that you're playing games and you're going to get caught I know this area inside and out meaning every street everything

Ur average lake. Super cloudy water. Perfect to just chill.
