😐 Front desk folks are always nice; on-site manager is awesome. Unfortunately, the corporate 24 guys don't seem to give the funding needed to fix what's needed in this location like they do in their other locations, so there's a lot to be desired when things break (as they do eventually in gyms). Some... People often mention machines, equipment, open, time, broken, dirty, staff, disgusting, years, membership,

Quality of the gym has dropped so much over the time. First off I wouldn’t recommend this location if you’re serious about lifting, half the gym has machines that have been broken for over half a year as other people have already mentioned, not only that’s but the restroom stalls are always broken and their bathroom never have paper or are always dirty. I would understand if there was no workers but there is literally like 10 employees just sitting not doing anything and anyone who goes to this location can agree. They never welcome you or say anything and never play any music. If you don’t like that job you can easily quit. The management is just poor overall and the gym it’s self needs a lot of work starting by fixing more than half the broken equipment and fixing the pool and sauna. The atmosphere is just bad overall and I will cancel my membership. Another advice.. change the gym to 24/7 access if you’re gonna name it 24 hour fitness. Otherwise close the place down.

Unfortunately, the corporate 24 guys don't seem to give the funding needed to fix what's needed in this location like they do in their other locations, so there's a lot to be desired when things break (as they do eventually in gyms). Something has to be said though about whoever has been in charge of hiring people here because always having nice staff for like 5 years is a good pattern that shouldn't be ignored. The one single complain I'd have locally is that they VERY frequently allow companies to set up show and harass you for donations when you're coming in and out. I joked with one manager asking if I could pay for an elite service for someone to block me from harassment as I came in and left, and he literally told me, "There are some people who prefer to have those people out there asking for donations." (Insert confused meme here, lol). Minus that guy ;) the staff is great. Corporate rating = 2 stars Local staff rating = 5 stars

This 24 hour fitness location should rename themselves to "open sometimes fitness" they are only open part of the day and have reduced weekend hours even more. The equipment is very old and needs updated and maintained better. Instead of cutting back they need to improve the gym. A lot of members have moved to other clubs in the area (fox fitness and planet fitness) because of the equipment and cleanliness. The front door has been broken for a month and Lowes is right next door.

The equipment has significantly declined over the years. The padded grips on most of the machines have been depleted to threads. Only about 2 percent of the ellipticals are working correctly. The sauna is beyond disgusting. The Grout is in dire need of repair, and due to the volume of use, it should be thoroughly cleaned more than once a week. I am not sure how some people walk in there with bare feet. 😬 Six months ago, I asked one of the team members if they were aware of the poor condition of the equipment, and I was advised the gym was in the process of being purchased by a new owner, and they hoped it would improve soon. It typically does not take six months to close a sale. However, if it does, a clause usually holds the current owner accountable for maintaining the investment to reasonable standards. Then I was informed that the new rate to join the gym was ten dollars per month, and the current members would not receive those benefits. Today I am going to end my membership at this gym and go anywhere else.

I like the gym... however this location needs major improvements. Way too many machines are broken, it's super crowded (even at 5 or 6am), and don't even get me started on the 24hr thing. Overall, it gets the job done. But equipment is pretty worn out. In addition, I saw that the pool can only be used by reservation. I don't use it, but I think it's a bit excessive given the amount they charge for not offering their services to the full extent. I would be understanding, but things take more than 3 months to get fixed...several machines have been broken for 6 months already and there's no telling when they'll be fixed.

This gym is not open 24 hours. It is literally in the name and it doesn't offer the hours. They expect you to wipe down machines after using them but they are always out of towels and the spray bottles are either empty or do not work. The machines are old and outdated and always seem to be broken. Once a machine is broken, you can expect it to stay that way for weeks before it gets fixed only to break again a few days later. The membership fee is WAY too much for what the gym actually offers.

This is the 6x the gym is supposed to open at 5:00am, and there is not one staff here, mind you, I have only had a membership here for a month. We are standing outside waiting for someone to open the door and still no one has came, it is now 5:30am. This is poor management. We pay so much money to attend a gym who can’t open on time, trash is still all over the floor from the last week, equipment is never put away, this is ridiculous. If you want find a gym in Lake Worth, DO NOT COME TO 24 HOUR FITNESS. THE MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE. UPDATE. 5:45am…STILL NO ONE. UDPATE. 6:00am….STILL NO ONE.

Extremely disgusting! I had a free pass so I decided to try it out. Never again. I got here at 8:00AM, you would think if they open at 5 am, they will have the facilities cleaned. Hair in the floor in the showers, bathroom stalls have toilet paper all on the floor, toilet paper missing from some stalls and the floors look like they haven’t been moped or scrubbed in a long time. I saw how much they charge a month, I don’t see where they justify charging that much when they can’t keep their facility up to par for their customers. If a Health inspector would come in, this place would get so many violations. It’s disgusting

I am disgusted with this gym. Facilities are dirty, broken, and unattended. Especially the restrooms and showers. I could not get myself to shower here. Yuk! Seems like they can’t help themselves to make a small investment and rather choose to protect profit margins. Well, once this gym is down to 1-2 stars, I think your profits will dwindle anyway. No way around it. If you don’t care about your business it will ultimately fail!

Trash, they need to get rid of the people that open the gym in the morning, at least 1 time a week no one shows up to open, we pay good money for a membership that we can't use. Some of us have to work, and the people that arrive at 5am is because this is the only time we can Train... this has been on going for the last 3 years.

I have been a member since 2011 except during Covid. The last couple of years this club has gone downhill. Others have mentioned the lack of cleaning and I agree. Equally frustrating is the equipment and facilities availability. The equipment breaks from time to time and that is to be expected. It is one thing to have some of the treadmills down because there are plenty of them. But when the whirlpool is down for months at a time or there is no hot water in the Men's locker room for going on two weeks that is unacceptable. If staff Maintenance is unable to make repairs there are plenty of qualified Plumbers and Electricians in the area.

It pains me to say that while I have been coming here frequently for the past 2 years now, the quality has plummeted DRASTICALLY since then. About 40% of all the machines in the entire place have been broken for months. The entire place smells disgusting most of the time. I literally saw a pair of dirty underwear on the bathroom floor that were there for days, this is how I knew they don't routinely clean. And of course them being open only a certain amount of hours despite their name is literally a scam. It has seriously gotten out of hand and I do not recommend coming here sadly. Even for $10 monthly, you're better off going anywhere else. It's a bummer that this, like everyone else's reviews, are simply going to get overlooked & nothing will be done.

Several issues as a somewhat new member- The lighting which is apparently dictated by corporate is oftentimes poor if not outright awful. The vibrancy that could be an essential element to encouraging members to workout and socialize is totally kneecapped because of this. The “24” hour is the next issue- they have decided to take on pandemic era limited time slots, thus abandoning the main selling point of the gym. Do yourself a favor and give any other gym a shot.

This 24 really needs some recognition… for being short staffed and this gym always having a decent amount of people, the few ladies working there do an AMAZING job. I am there 6 days a week and I really have not seen any issues that I’ve seen at other gyms, including other 24 hour fitnesses. Not only do they keep it clean but they help you stretch out pulled muscles, give you tips, sell drinks, etc…. They have even offered their own equipment to me to help with my back problems before working out. I can’t give 5 stars because I believe they need a couple more staff members to be able to keep it stocked and cleaned properly. Also, this gym doesn’t have much of the d bags that get in your way while they are in the mirror checking themselves out or taking pictures. Also, not many people that will just sit and hog machines while they play on their cell phones. If you are like me and need to knock your sets out quickly and go, this is a great 24 hour. Thanks guys!!!

I was originally going to write a quick review to let the management know their gym was not open even close to the advertised time, but once I read all the other reviews, that clearly is not working. I read through a dozen posts all complaining about the same things: Open late, dirty, and broken machines. All of which I have personally noticed over the last year. I see the management always answers with the same nonsense reply and is not addressing the concerns of the reviewer. I am going to take a different approach. I would like to ask the management three specific questions: 1, How are you going to resolve all the complaints about Opening late, dirty facility, and broken machines? 2, How are you going to compensate me for the time I wasted waiting for the gym to open? It is advertised to open at 6, but I was there from 7:30 to 08:00 and it was still not open. 3, Because you have not addressed these problems in the past and will likely not address these problems in the future, how do I get my membership fee refunded?

Unfortunately this gym is absolutely dirty constantly. The floor is disgusting, the indoor grass area is dirty n smells, machines are always broken, bathrooms are terrible-there is just no care n concern for this gym anymore. It’s very disappointing. THANKS FOR THE REPLY. My question is: Now that you replied, will something be done about it? I posted this 4+ days ago (there are similar posts) and it’s still dirty and nothing has changed. It’s not difficult to bring out a broom and mop. Every reply states, “Serve you better in the future.” The future is now. Thank you.

This is the first gym to make me feel welcome 🥰 there is no catty gym drama. No one in your face asking for the machine you're working. The staff is friendly and fun to talk to. The place is clean and spaceful. I love it!

This place is disgusting. ALL the Trashcans are always full. Including the bathrooms and weight floor. Hair everywhere, floors disgusting, never any cleaning solution in the bottles. This place used to be so nice back in the day, you can tell the staff just doesn’t care. The club manager doesn’t care. It hard for me to go workout there knowing how dirty it is. I don’t even want to go to the bathroom. Everywhere you look it’s something gross. Bought a year’s membership outright. Wish I would have visited the gym before making that decision.

I’ve been a member here for over 10 years. My only concern is the cleanliness. The sauna and restrooms are never clean. There’s hair and dirt everywhere. The staff does absolutely no cleaning. I've made management reports to no avail. Looking for a new gym home.

Front desk staff uninviting and dismissive, equipment “under repair” for weeks, if not months, and locker room is ALWAYS disgusting. Even at $10/mo. it’s too expensive. Now they have adjusted their hours again on the weekend to open later, which is the only reason why I’ve keep my membership to date. Gym has completely gone downhill post COVID. I look forward to receiving the generic “We are continuously listening to feedback and working towards excellence.” response from corporate, with no actual change.

Ok so it pains me to do this but it is absolutely necessary. The mens locker room bathroom and toilet are beyond filthy to the point of disgusting. I was there on Sunday 2/26 and the same plastic bag that was by the last bathroom with someones abandoned boxers were still on the floor as of today Wednesday! I personally had to take a broom and sweep it up but guess what the trash was full and had not been emptied since ...you guessd it. There is toilet paper clogging the urinals and strewn all over the floor in the toilets which i recommend you enter at your own risk and dead water bugs in the bathroom. If you a considering joining this gym please go and inspect the bathrooms before comitting your hard earned money they remind me of an outhouse in a 3rd world country.

Used to like 24, recently tried downgrading my membership plan and was told I would have to pay a $100+ initial fee. For what? I've been here for years. Immediate cancellation. Also they need to do some deep cleaning at least 2x a year or something. You can see the vents covered with dust, grout in bathrooms is disgusting, free weights need steam cleaning. They also need to turn up the AC in the afternoons because it's crowded with the after work crowd and it just feels/smells musty...if you're the reason why this happens please learn how to shower beforehand! Afternoons lack cleaning products for members as well. Equipment needs updating. Overall, you could find better quality elsewhere unfortunately.

Gym is most of the time dirty and they have so many machines not working. For the price of the memberships they should do better. Not even the 10$ dollar gyms are this bad. Today I visited another location in town and it was so much different. They need to do better

24 HOUR IS THE MOST TRASHIEST GYM EVER! Ive been coming to 24 hour for 15 years and have stopped coming to them the past few years. Canceling today. Walked into one, 5 of the stair masters are down, about 10 treadmills are down. These guns are disgusting and garbage, bathrooms are never clean, gyms never clean dust and dirt on all machines. THIS PLACE IS GARBAGE. I go to multiple gyms..across the states and 24 hour fitness is by far the most tradhiest gyms. Cleanest gyms are plant fitness and other good gyms are fitness connection, LA fitness, Golds gym.

DONT JOIN!!! I joined this gym without visiting first...... biggest mistake!!! I went for the first and only time Wed evening 5pm, Its crowded, dirty, musky, some of the machines are not secure and need repairs or to be replaced. I will never go back. I tried to cancel my membership, they refused me and tried to charge me $50 to cancel. This is why they are closing down and Crunch and Planet Fitness are taking over. DONT JOIN!!!!!

The absolute worst! The only reason I gave it one star was because employee I spoke with was friendly. However this place is filthy a set up for infection, COVID and any kind of bacteria you can think of. I would love to go to this particular gym because it’s closer to my house, but instead I take the drive to a cleaner facility . But I tried to go the other day because I wanted to go to the steam room for a bit because my face had been really dry, and instantly it made me remember why I stop going there. I entered the steam room there was about 5 empty water bottles on the floor, wet tissue stuck to the wall and then then to top is off a ball of hair. I immediately left. Previously it had always smelled Like mildew. The H.O.T tub water always looks filmy! Just a pure disappointment! Management really needs to step their game up!

Besides being absolutely filthy as everyone here has already stated .For the past two weeks they have had no hot water with no fix in sight! This gym just keeps deteriorating and there is no visible effort to improve it. All you get is the same copy and paste response to complaints online and in person. It would be funny if i hadn't already prepaid for my membership a decision i completely regret now. A complete waste of good hard earned money.

The hot tub was heavily chlorinated, I fainted many times and nauseated. The lady who worked at the club said she had added chlorine to it. My eyes were burning and I couldn't breathe. I complained to the front desk, and it felt on deaf ears. The most horrible experience and negligence by the young staff.

I agree with many of the posts for this gym. This gym is very dirty. The floor is disgusting, several machines are broken, bathroom facilities disgusting. I had a cockroach almost run across my feet (see photo). But nothing will be done it seems. Just empty promises and no action. Do yourself a favor and avoid this gym!

My husband has talked to management, several times. Nothing is done about the issues so here I am!!! It's dirty! This gym is gross! Ive been his extra several times and agree. I agree so much that I stopped going with him. He worked out today and told me that the toilet had the same boo boo stains that was there the last time he went. He came home mid workout just bc he didnt want to use the bathroom. The urinals smell like everyone is dehydrated! The machines are dirty. And management passes the problem off on the employees and then never back checks to see if the work was done. We are looking into other arrangements. I suggested lifetime. Tick tock Edited to add: YOUR RESPONSE IS THE SAME WITH NO ACTION BEHIND IT. IM INSULTED YOU TOOK THE TIME TO REPLY BUT NOT FIX THE ISSUE

I had not been to this gym since the beginning of covid. Apparently neither has the cleaning crew. I used to frequent this facility 2 times per week and only used the pool and hot tub. When I visited last month I experienced the following: • I found the entire pool area practically in the dark • The dirt, dust and bugs on the floor was so thick you could cut through it with a knife • It smelled old and musty • There were “things” floating in the water • The water in the pool was “ice-cold” • The hot tub contained thick foam that was riddled with dirt floating on top of it • The young man at the front desk (5 a.m.) was most unconcerned, unknowledgeable and non-attentive • Three of the six showers were out of order. Two were being used and the only one I could use was the handicapped shower. The drain was clogged, and I was standing in water that covered my feet. This area was so dark and dirty that I put my face mask on to protect myself in whatever way I could. I ended up going straight home to take a proper shower.

I go to this facility daily and have been a member for a couple years minus the COVID outbreak. So I was out for 2 years. So I'm now back and I have been disappointed with the cleanliness in the woman's facilities I have to admit. This was never an issue before. The steam room being broken has nothing to do with staff and everything to do with members. Unfortunately they can't be responsible and stop pouring water on the sensor and keep breaking it. But the facility members always repair it in a timely manner. Hot tub was down due to parts and the pool is were I work out water is sometimes cold but for the most part it's ok. I had a issue with the clorine but I told on of the team members and he got right on it and the problem was fixed the very next day. He stayed on the testing for two days and continuing the testing to make sure it was level. They are very polite always welcome us and I haven't had a problem with staff. I love it there.

Dirty and very poorly maintained. Hot tub was closed for over 7 months. Pool water often very cloudy with grit on the bottom and recently the pool heater has been broken for a month. There is no urgency from local management or corporate (I got this info from a couple of employees) to get things cleaned up or repaired.

To start off, this location is not open 24 hours. The equipment (machines) have been dropping out of service left and right. Certain machines have been broke for at least 8 months.... I really figured that a commercial gym would consider fixing thier machines so that thier customers would want to continue to come back.

First gym I ever joined. It’s no fox fitness, but I missed some of the old equipment and being able to play basketball after my workouts. So, I came back. The atmosphere is sad. They’re very understaffed and a lot of the equipment needs maintenance. I wouldn’t dare step into the sauna or pool these days. But, overall I still manage a good workout and get what I need out of it. 2 stars, because it ain’t worth the price.

Been a member for 2 months. This gym has a good selection of gym equipment. Most of it is in good shape as well. The equipment is heavily used - the gym can be quite busy at peak times. Most of the equipment could use a good wipe down.

I come to this gym daily and today for the first time I was approached by Joshua the manager and RUDELY told I CAN NOT ALLOW THIS and told to turn my music off! If ANYTHING the proper approach was a must. But it’s not in the policy that I have to have head phones. I’ll never return.

Staff is friendly and equipment is good, when it’s working. Just wish they would go back to actually being open 24 hours, kinda defeats the purpose of the name. Also, for as long as this location has been around, you’d think there’d be an upgrade in equipment by now.

I got the 3 day free pass and decided I’m not going to become a member here due to the reasons previous reviewers are pointing out. I’ve been a member at multiple different gyms over the years and this one doesn’t look like it’s kept up properly in comparison. Cleanliness has to be prioritized more. Christian at the front desk was very nice though and wasn’t trying to pressure me into making a choice but went over the plans which I respected.
