Tacos here cost more than other places but they're actually bigger. They also taste better than other places. The staff are cool.

We've been coming to this place for years, several locations. Food has always been on point. Clam chowder is good, sometimes a bit thin (scared to say watered down lol). They have added more chicken choices for those who don't feel like having fish.

If you like fish you have to go to California Fish Grill. This place is unbeatable in quality for price. Lots of healthy options. I ordered the sea bass the first time and the rockfish the second time. Both were fresh and very well cooked. The sides were awesome too. The rice, the zucchini, the sweet potato fries, and the shrimp. This place is highly recommended! 💯

This place is amazing. We stopped in after seeing it on the corner and we're so glad we did. You order at a self serve kiosk. You can do a classic dish or pick your own fish and sides. I did the seasonal Hawaiian shrimp trio with BBQ shrimp, jumbo shrimp, and coconut shrimp. Everything was super fresh and delicious and it only cost $40 for four of us. And they have good kids options

The customer service and the way the food was cooked was amazing. The people working there did absolutely amazing and they work their butts off! However, the food itself is no where it used to be as far as quantity. The fish and chips used to be ginormous 3 prices and now its 4 little fish nuggets. The salmon and swai combo used to be almost a foot long and now your lucky if you get it 3 inches long. This is not the chef or workers fault, this is purely corporates doing. Although my family and I love this place, this will be the last time we order from here. Too much money for such small shavings of fish.

I paid $2 more for corn and the bowl was filled 1/3rd of the way. I asked Ruben the manager if I can have some more corn and he refused. I can buy an entire can of corn from the grocery store for $0.50 Managers like this is what ruins businesses. California Fish & Grill should find another manager for this location.

I ordered the fried shrimp with battered fish and I come to find out that they didn’t even cleaned the shrimp properly, my first and last visit to this place, the only good thing was the price, really disappointing.

Met a friend for lunch and used the kiosk to order. The food was great as usual and was prepared quickly. I ordered the Tilapia char grilled with sides of beans and rice. It was delicious and the restaurant was not busy so we were able to have a pleasant conversation. I will be going again to check out the shrimp plate.

Wonderful fish, lots of choices, tasty sides. I was very impressed with the food. It is an "order at the counter" type place, somewhat more casual, but no complaints on the meal or service.

I don't know where to begin. It was a disappointing experience. On a Saturday night there are only two tables occupied and that should have been my clue. On a nearly 90° day, the AC was off. Imagine that hot of a day when they are cooking fish. The lady who seemed to be running the place said she cannot turn on the AC because water will come down from the ceiling! I asked her to explain that, she said that is what she was told to say to customers. I asked if we can open the entrance door just for a few minutes to get fresh air, she said no. I overheard another customer asking for lemon with his grilled fish. They offered salsa instead because they do not have lemons. No cups or straws for water. No one at the register to take your order. So much more. It was really sad because this place has a lot of potential.

Update: Went back today. Waited over five minutes for someone to even acknowledge my existance. Finally after a worker came to the front twice while chatting on her phone, the third time she held up two fingers and said "two minutes". That turned out to be a lie. To be clear, I was the only customer so they were not swamped. I waited a few more minutes then left. They only have self order machines and actually ask for a tip. For who? Your order kiosk? Bruh. The food was great though

Prices up to around $15 for a combo plate. Convenient self-order devices at the counter - speeds up ordering when there's not enough staff. Cooked to order, so always expect 10-15 minutes wait Generally good fish and shrimp. CA Fish Grill does keep changing the sides, so what you get today isn't made the same as it was years ago.

This place has really gone downhill. They keep cutting back everything, and raising prices. Can’t even get a proper amount of sauce on my fish anymore. It’s been getting progressively worse and worse. I remember when it was two slices of bread with your meal, then they cut to one. Apparently now they’ve cut it to none. I guess they’re headed that direction with the sauces on the fish too🤦‍♂️ in their defense, when I asked for some sauce, they gave it to me no charge… Still miss the old CFG!

Also had the poke bowl which was also amazing. The salmon was perfect bite sizes and also fresh. The dining room was clean and a nice place to sit outside, a relaxing place to eat.

The fish here was excellent. The service was friendly and courteous. We received our food pretty fast considering there was a lot of people. Our order was accurate, hot and delicious. I’m definitely coming back.

Chipotle-style healthy fish meals. You can choose between a bowl, salad, or ala carte items. Each had a choice of fresh (wild and farm caught) fish protein - swai, tilapia, salmon, mahi mahi, etc - choice of sides, and choice of base - cauliflower rice, brown rice, etc. Quick, delicious, and healthy!

I keep going back and I don't know why. The food is good but I never know what I will get as our order is wrong each time we come. I will admit it has expanded a few things I would not have gotten in the past. How hard is it to serve what was requested?! I am just reminded that they know what I want better than I do, hmmmm. So now I know kale slaw is not bad. Great, but you served us items that we are allergic too. Maybe next time?

I always get fish plates with sides... Food has always been flavorful when coming here. However, I did have shrimp skewers as a side last time I went and they were very dry‼️ But no complaints on any other time I went and will continue going. The staff is always respectful. *Sorry, no pics at this time. Will add next time I go.
