Great service if it isn't busy, great margaritas the best on the chain, great outdoor dinning with the best sunset and lake view. However the food is average at best and seems to be getting worse every visit. Expect a high bill and a not so tasty experience.

Excellent service, plenty of outdoor seating by the lake and ample food. Good food and drinks, great selection. One of my favorite Lakeside dining locations in Lake Country or Illinois for that matter. Did I say reasonable pricing? You’ve got to try them!

I would give this place a 5 star if it wasn't for the smoking that is allowed. Sat outside to eat on a beautiful evening and halfway through our meal the table next to us began smoking which ruined it for us. They do have indoor seating but it would be nice to be able to sit outside and not have to worry about someone smoking. Perhaps have a designated smoking area for people further away from the dining area.... Or no smoking at all would be nice. The chips and salsa and meal were very good. If we come back it will be in the winter for indoor dining. Our server was very pleasant.

It's a great location and there is not a wait. You can get there by car or boat. You'll get to enjoy a beautiful sunset on the lake. The staff is always pretty attentive. The drinks are good. The food however is always ok. It's not bad it's just not that good either. That said because of the location it's still a favorite spot on the chain

Fast, friendly, and quiet. Service was slow, but we hit them right at the lunch rush. Boat slips are tight, bring your bumpers, but they can dock 50 boats.

Great Lake view lots of boat slips. Marietta’s Oh My. And good food. Hard to beat. I even seen Sant Claus there.

Ordered takeout. Asked for sliced avocado and got guacamole, which is disgusting. And then I found this shredded sticker in my taco, which is also disgusting. They've also forgotten items when we've ordered takeout before, so we have yet to have a non-screwed up order.

Love the outdoor seating on the lake. They offered 2 different steak burritos. One with a red sauce on it. My brother and I both ordered the regular burrito dinners but both got the red sauce on ours. It was ok but not a fan of the red sauce and the burrito itself was kinda bland. Other two with us enjoyed their meals pork tacos and chicken tamales they said was good. The outdoor seating is the best tho.

Love this place! It's definitely a hidden gem. I ordered the steak taco salad, and it was delicious! The photo is the view if you sit outside!

Every time I come here my experience is always positive! The food comes fast and tastes extremely good. Alcoholic beverages are also top notch with excellent margaritas and other mixed drinks. Service also didn’t disappoint with my waitress being very kind and professional. Definitely give this restaurant a try!!

Saul and his staff are always polite and very friendly. Service is quick and the portions generous. Great atmosphere and a large outdoor patio with great views of the piers and lake.

This place cannot be beat. I have been coming back for years. Amazing view on Fox Lake. The food is outstanding ! The salsa is to die for!! The molé is perfection. The service is always terrific. Never disappointed.

We had a wonderful time at El Puerto. All the staff was quick to serve and all smiles. The food and drinks were top notch and quickly served. The outside seating is spacious and right on the lake. Great sunset view. We would recommend El Puerto for great food at a reasonable price and great service and great atmosphere. Thank you!

Great place to relax, drink margaritas, and watch the boats go bye. Food is fair to good. Ordered pork tamales. Had a hard time finding any pork in them. Fajitas smelled awesome . It was hit or miss with the food at our table. Service was cheerful and attentive. Visit served its purpose.
