In general it felt great as an experience for staying here over a couple of nights. Staff are friendly and attentive, they were willing to help us whenever we need. The room is comfortable however we just had a small problem with the bathtub. There is a fairly nice pool with bar in the middle, and an area for café.

The outside area was very pleasant with a nice pool and tennis court. The rooms were spacious and nice. The hotel was suitably close to the falls however you do have to cross the border to get there.

Everything was so good! Superb attention to details. Excellent service. Excellent food quality. Excellent pool music. Excellent gourmet 2nd floor restaurant. I will be back.

The customer service here was great! Better than any resort I've been in (my experience is limited to Latin America). My travel companion didn't speak Portuguese, and I am learning, but the staff was equally friendly in both languages and she was able to find help in English when needed. The food was also excellent. The buffets had great options and the a la carte dinner was very well seasoned with flavors a step above normal. Also, appeared to be a great location for families with tons of kid-friendly activities nearby. It was easy to use Uber and taxis. My only dissatisfaction was the lack of free water. There was a dispenser at dinner time, but you otherwise had the buy bottles. This isn't unusual, so I can't really call it a complaint. And we bought some larger bottles at the mall the first day. A very good experience.

We arrived around midnight after a day of travel. I booked a 'comfort' room in the older part of the resort. It was a connected room and we heard our neighbour snore loudly all night. The main light didn't fully switch off so the room was bright. It also was worn with rust in places. We asked for toothpaste but we were told we would have to wait until the next morning for the shop to open. We changed room the next day and it was improved. I was working during the trip but I was unable to work for more than 2 hours on the first day due to the WiFi not working. It was eventually fixed but I had missed an important meeting. There isn't a business centre like you would expect in many 5* hotels. The WiFi was poor at times during the trip. If you need to work remotely I couldn't recommend this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful at all times during our stay. The pool area is nice. The food is expensive and average. You cannot walk to anywhere outside the hotel as it's on a busy road that's under construction. It can be hard to get Ubers.

This is by no means a 5 star hotel. The first room we were in was unclean (black large clump of hair in the shower, wet towels). They moved us without a fuss to a different room. Obviously didn't log it on the system, as a member of staff walked into our room without knocking to top up the mini bar and looked embarressed when she found us in there. Marks/scuffs on the walls. Food was bland and expensive. Plenty of other options for hotels in the area and its not that far to get to the waterfalls from any of them.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in Brazil. Food, service and location were excellent. Very close to the airport. The morning buffet breakfast was vast. They also have a dinner buffet which is reasonably priced and has excellent salad options. I would recommend them to have a free airport shuttle as it is close to the airport but not walkable and it is hard to get a taxi for that short distance of 1.5 kms.

Close to the airport, beautiful location, comfortable rooms and very good food. There was a language barrier, but the staff were all as helpful as they could be with what little English they had (and my three Portuguese phrases).

Great service, wonderful pool, and the stay is more than worth the cost. The hotel is clean and the breakfast was good and it had a little of everything. The lady ( did not get her name) in the tour office was outstanding and helped with travel arrangements across the border to Iguazu Falls! Recommended highly if you are spending time at the falls!

I went for three stars because the internet was terrible during my stay.

    1. Although I reserved Eco Cataratas, they put me in San Juan hotel. I asked them why and they told me it's how it works here because Eco Cataratas doesn't have the rooms I booked for. I think they shouldn't show that room type if they don't have it at Eco Cataratas, but I just accepted. 2. I asked them to give the two rooms beside each other because I wanted to be close to my parents, but they give me one on the first floor and the other on the second even almost at the end of the hallway. When I got the second key, I questioned it again if this room is close to my parents room and he said yes which is not true. 3. The airconditioner was working, but the sound of it was big. And my room was beside the road, so the noise at night was big enough not to sleep well.4. They told me they would change my room, so even came to my room because the interphone was not working. But the room was not ready and asked me where my room and parent's room are several times. After I complained about the situation, they got one room for me, so I insisted to check it first. When I got there the water was dropping from the airconditioner on the table. 5. On the last day, the cold water didn't come out, so couldn't take shower well nor use restroom. And they never apologized 6. They don't have English speakers.

Very nice hotel. They have a brand new pool, restaurant and café. Breakfast is great but beware that depending on your room you might end up in the old (and ugly) part of the hotel (as of Jan 2022). But overall very good and very friendly staff. I was only disappointed with the room itself.

Eco Catarata Resort is a newest resort at Foz de Iguaçu. The resort is near the airport and other attractions like: dream park, bird park, Argentina and, Waterfalls but if you like to enjoy the night the resort might not be a good choice, because it's a bit far from the center. The resort has a swimming pool with a bar inside, a spa, academy and other places to enjoy. There are two restaurants, one is the main restaurant and the other is a Japanese restaurant. The room is terrific and comfortable. The shower is amazing and the amenities are boticario rs. About breakfast… is amazing. There are many types of food and fruits, the place is always clean and has a good view outside. For breakfast I believe that the resort could have more options of achocolatado, because in my time at the resort some days there was cacao and another there was achocolatado. The resort also could train their employees because some of them have difficulties with taking orders.

Only stayed one night so didn't get to benefit from all the facilities. The room scored the least as it was rather outdated. Our room was in the old building, on the ground floor on the road side so we got woken up too early by the noise made by a coach I think, some machines cutting trees and general traffic. Unusual windows/ metal shutters system. Leaky tap and no sound proofing in the bathroom - could hear very loudly the neighbours next door (or above?). The restaurant serves a buffet dinner for 85 $, but get get a voucher from reception and it is 75 $, not including drinks. Lots of dishes, a great introduction to Brazilian cuisine. Start early and pace yourself so you can try everything :) Breakfast is a big affair too, buffet with many dishes, fresh fruit etc Can spend time relaxing by the pools after a long day sightseeing. It is close to the Helios park from where you can take a helicopter ride to the waterfalls. And to the bird park, also well worth a visit. The Iguazu national park is a half-hour or so drive away. The local airport is not far either, not 🚫 s the town. Good access by taxy/Uber. Would stay here again but would ask for a room in the new building.

It is very close to all the places to go and see. It is a bit far from the city center. overall good location. There are large playgrounds for children with a very large pool. The restaurant is huge. foods are good. The breakfast is delicious. Employees are smiling. As a negative comment, there is a plastic sapport under the shower fountain in the shower in the rooms, it injured my arm in the dangerous position.

We were located in the separate lower rate rooms but the price was for top rooms!

If this is a 5*, then so is the ibis/premier inns. Check in was awful, staff inattentive, gave us a double room for 3 people despite booking a triple and be warned there are 2 buildings with rooms - one a lot older than the other. Oh and the bar in the pool - never staffed. Avoid!

Nice hotel near the Foz do Iguazú airport and the Iguazú falls. Nice staying in the hotel with two nice pools and a good restaurant. We loved it. Suggested either for couples and families.

Facilities are clean, breakfast and restaurant are good, fair price for everything. Internet is terrible and hotel guests seem to be up at all hours of the night. We were also bothered by street noises in our room.

Hotel is nice with reasonable size room but, due to the design of the hotel, noise at the bar can be heard from any room. The hotel is located between the airport and the Iguazu national park. The restaurant serve buffet/all you can it food. The bar serve burgers. There's a travel agency in the hotel.

If you visit this hotel you should keep in mind that this is a family resort. Children screaming from 7 to 23 and the parents sitting in the clairaudient lobby, drinking 3.5L of beer towers while bellowing from 20 to 23. So screaming starts at the breakfast and go on until late night. The archiceture of the lobby favor the transmission of Sound onto the upper floors. Thus you cannot sleep until around 24 o'clock. At 23 the parents accompany their children to the rooms, where the fun continues until all of them have fallen asleep. Rooms and windows do not provide help, as the doors cannot be closed tightly. There's a gap of 5mm between wall and door. So it doesn't matter if you close the door or not in terms of noise. The tourism beaureu inside charges you with at least twice the price for a taxi if you want to go to the City. Better get a taxi across the road at the dinosaur museum. They also sell you tours with their driver and charge everybody in the car the price of a solo taxi ride. And for this price the driver also dare to arrive 30 Minutes late, letting us wait outside at 34°C. The gym facilities are old. The battaries have not been changed in both bicycles and were in fact missing in one. No water provided. To get a towel for the gym you need to sign a reciept at the bar and bring it back there. Not sure if this process is really adequate... However, the price was OK. And the service provided too. So keeping the review at 2 Stars.

Excellent value for money. Not more than a 10 minutes drive from the visitor centre on the Brazilian side of the Iguazú waterfalls. Friendly staff, decent buffet and food and clean swimming pools. Also sauna and gymnasium available. Rooms are clean and the backyard of the hotel is just awesome.

Stayed there in May 19: The staff is very very helpful. Specially Ana Alice. I didn´t want wifi in my room and she organised a room far away from a router and turned off the wifi by herself. She and the other stuff really tried to speak English and have been always very friendly. The room was very quiet, the breakfast amacing (never had such a good once in other parts of Brasil) and dinner delicious. I hope that the managers of the hotel will spend money on the staff and send them to English courses for free. Wished I could stay longer than 2 days. Wonderful place for experiencing not only the Iquazu falls.

👍👍 I really liked the facilities, good breakfast, friendliness of the military, good location, in the center, and with an independent concierge. I recommend!
