The train station is more of a stop. The former train station building serves as a kindergarten. However, there is a covered waiting area, a public toilet, a large parking lot and a bicycle rack.

Our visit to Ipsheim was the Gasthof Rückert. We have had wine tastings there in the fall for many years. Our train conductor and conductor's association finds the atmosphere, the cakes and food on offer excellent and of course the many fine types of wine. A visit to the Gasthaus Rückert will always be remembered positively
