Even if you’re not the biggest bier drinker the place still has some lovely stuff to offer. Friendly, fresh and quick 👍

The food was just delicious. We ordered some different dishes and all were served quickly and still hot. We look forward to visiting again!

Although the beers, fries and the beer soup were good, the staff and the main waiter were completely rude, disrespectful, and unfriendly. We had a very unpleasant and uncomfortable supper there. The atmosphere was nice, but the staff behavior kills the vibe.

Lowenbrau Restaurant had indoor and outdoor seating in which you can sit along the pedestrian street or above on the terrace. The setting is rustic, the food is German, the beer is Lowenbrau which we Americans are familiar with. Our waiter spoke excellent English and was very helpful. The food was fantastic and a hearty serving which was too much for us to eat.

Historic restaurant and biergarten in the heart of Baden-Baden. Food was okay to good, not spectacular. Service was excellent and quick. No real vegan option. Had the potato cakes with vegetables, sauce on the side (so no sauce). If you are wanting traditional German food of average quality, you’ll be happy here. The Dunkel was good, but also just average. If you’ve had some fresher beers on your trip, you’re ruined for these more commercial offerings.

Löwenbräu is a restaurant that attempts to bring a taste of Bavarian cuisine to the beautiful town of Baden-Baden. However, it falls short in several aspects, making it a less desirable choice for dining. One of the main drawbacks is the mismatch between the restaurant's concept and the ambiance of the town. Baden-Baden is known for its picturesque charm, and Löwenbräu, with its Bavarian theme, feels out of place in this context. It fails to capture the local essence or offer a unique dining experience that complements the town's charm. Furthermore, the quality of the food and service leaves much to be desired. The dishes offered at Löwenbräu lack the authenticity and flavor that one would expect from a Bavarian restaurant. The taste and presentation fall short of delivering a truly satisfying culinary experience. Additionally, the service is lacking in attentiveness and professionalism, which can significantly impact the overall dining experience. Considering these factors, it may be better to explore other dining options in Baden-Baden that offer a more authentic and enjoyable experience. While Löwenbräu attempts to bring a taste of Bavaria to town, it fails to deliver on both the culinary and atmospheric fronts, making it a less recommended choice for visitors and locals alike.

This restaurant is totally worth a visit. Amazing atmosphere with the waiters wearing traditional costumes, very tasty food, exceptional service. We visited it in May and we stayed in the garden and it was very beautiful, I recommend it.

We go here every time we're in town. Lana is the best waitress there. Of you go make sure to give her a side tip the others don't know about. The food is great. Also the leiberkonodalsupe. I get it every time. They know and welcome me when I stop in.

This was not the best restaurant. Ambiance was ok, service was not so good. The older man in service was a bit rude and did not seen happy to do his job anymore. They do not ask how your food is or if everything was nice. Just order, serve, pay and goodbye haha. The frikadelle was ok but the rösti i would have not ordered if i knew it got served from the deep fryer. The vegetables were half frozen still….. there are better restaurants for sure. The beer was nice!

The aesthetic view of the outdoor area is superior to the food offered. The prices do not go hand in hand with the gravel we stepped on and the general picture. Weiss beer, however, remains a constant value of enjoyment !!!

We had a very pleasant experience at this Biergarten and restaurant, stopped by for an afternoon beer and appetizers. The service was quick, although it was pretty packed, we got a nice table outdoors, under the shade and part sun, perfect to enjoy a beer! The indoor seating was empty, so able to snap a few pics there. The wait staff were friendly and courteous, in their uniformed outfits!

We were passing through Baden-Baden and wanted to try and experience true Bavarian food. The portions were generous and the food was nice but the staff was not friendly at all and all the girls were grumpy the main waiter was extremely rude and was rushing us through our order.

It’s a great place to sit and watch the world go by with shade trees to block the sun. Food had HUGE portions. We ordered a German charcuterie board for one and an appetizer dumpling in mushroom sauce. The mushroom sauce was so delicious.

Traditional German fare on the center of Baden Baden. We figured while in Germany you must try traditional German food. Waitstaff was very polite and helpful without being obtrusive. The food was good ( das Essen sehr gut ) Large restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating . We chose to sit inside but outside dining had a large patio with lights. Would be very pretty at night.

I really like the place how it looks. I think that the woman can smile more and be more friendly. The service was good but we did not have dinner here. Inside it looks like a ski place. And the staff wear lederhosen. Really huge coffee.

Classic German fare! Complete with waiters and waitresses dressed in traditional outfits. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Menu comes in multiple languages. We had the 0.5L (smallest!) Lowenbrau beer which was a tasty light-medium beer with a wiener schnitzel (pictured) and the "big" schnitzel. Schnitzels came with chips which were very tasty. Couldn't fault the food or service, very fast too. Would recommend for a classic (perhaps clichè) German experience.

Food was mediocre at best and served at tourist prices. Staff were indifferent, and not the normal polite indifference, they legitimately seemed to not care. Our two dishes came out separately and were brought out wrong. I ordered the turkey steak and cooked vegetables, and I received schnitzel and pommes. Aside from being the wrong order, they were also brought out cold. I was told that's how they do it. (Never been served cold schnitzel and fries anywhere before). They eventually took the incorrect back, and brought out the correct order about 30 minutes later. Even though it was the correct order, they came out the second time, it still wasn't great. The turkey steak was good, but the vegetables were all served raw despite being advertised as cooked. Cold beans, carrots, and potatoes, not an ideal dinner.

Ok so it's maybe a little overplayed on the German theme for some, but the food is REALLY good, we ate there twice and enjoyed both meals. Personally I loved seeing the traditional German dress on the staff, the oompa music and seeing others enjoying it too. The portions are MASSIVE so we had no room for dessert. I would happily recommend it to people, it's not fine dining but it's great home style dining which suited us. The prices are reasonable too and I would recommend it

Good classic food. You want to taste some bavaria while at Baden-Württemberg this is your spot! Classic beer next to it and some nostalgic climate. Really nice worth checking in.

The food was fine and the service a bit slow. The water was the issue. The water on the menu listed, which is already highly priced, was not the one that was brought to the table. That water was nearly double priced without telling us. Shady practice.

Beautiful interior and exterior design. Amazing local beer, big portions of traditional Bavarian dishes. If you're hungry, l'd definitely recommend this place.

Exceptional customer service, quick and very helpful. The food was really good, ordered the cold tray of different meats to try and shared it with my bf. Tried some really interesting new flavors & meats including jellied pig head. They had very elaborate decorations for the Christmas season! Ordered a delicious coffee ice cream shake for dessert and it was good as well! Overall the staff were the best part of the experience! Helped us decide on what to try and advised us on the portions. Let me borrow a lighter to light birthday candles I had brought in and stuck into my boyfriends whipped cream on his shake for his birthday. Definitely recommend.

The waiter was very short and rude. He wouldn't even let me complete my order before walking away. It was lunchtime and not busy. So all I ended up with was soup. Very disappointed at the experience.

Excellent food (the kids loved it too) and large plates. One dish was plenty enough for my appetite. Fast and efficient service. The biergarten has a cozy feel in the evening and the music (not loud) brings you back to Oktoberfest 😁
