This place does not look like the pictures. It's quite shabby and not as sleek as we expected it to look, but the sushi is the best I've had. If you are looking for good Asian food this is the place for you.

The food tastes fine, but it is not worth the price for what we paid. I don't know why, but this place feels like a tourist trap and the food is more about the presentation than the actual authenticity. They also serve schnitzel on the menu, which is really strange for an asian restaurant. The staff was friendly and very accomodating, the interior was also modern and clean.

What to say, expectations were high but the experience was the opposite. . The sushi is not really tasty, it is more about the presentation than the dish itself, that does not taste as the great sushi. Moreover what is meant to be for 2 or 3 persons, hopefully is only enough for 2. And not cheap. My son ordered schnitzel mit pommes and he got Tofu with something else. After complaining he got schnitzel with rice.. so imagine that the service was not the best. Additionally the dishes are not cheap and the bill at the end was heavy... not to recommend. Sorry

Great location 👌🏻near the main square of the old town... Start your day with a visit to Heidelberg's palace after you have drunk your coffee around or in the beautiful old paths....use the castle railway... And then enjoy the nice environment in this asian restaurant! Under the palace of Heidelberg , fresh and delicious food, but first of all, very clean!!! I recommend it to everyone!!!!!

Friendly service. Reason to step inside was that there were 2 tables with Japanese people - that must say something! The Summer roll with ebi tempura was delicious. The inside-out sushi rolls were good. Not as good as at a high-end sushi place but that is to be expected. Pretty sure you won’t be disappointed by a visit.

Really delicious food Good Ambience, friendly staff, somehow Heidelberg is costly with food (expect minimum 15euros). Absolutely recommended. I went again and even having the restaurant full, there food quality was not compromised. Highly recommended. Thank you and keep up the good work.

A delicious meal, served with flair. Excellent service and well worth a visit. The exterior isn't flash, but the interior is lovely.

Conveniently located next to the station for the cable car up and down the castle, this restaurant served really delicious foods and drinks. The waiter was fast, friendly and helpful. Clean bathrooms, lots of tables and nice decor

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Being a non-German speaking traveler can be intimidating but the staff were fluent in English and helpful. The food was next level and worth every Euro. Give this place a try.

We celebrated the birthday of my baby sister here. We arrived here from the Hbf via a bus number 20 and the bus stop is right at the front of the restaurant. We were then greeted by a darling kind waitress and given a choice to sit where we wanted. Food was the most fresh Sushi I have had in Germany so far. Also their starters like the Miso soup were really good. The drinks such as the lemonade were fresh, not too sugary and Boujee. As mentioned above we celebrated a birthday here, I had bought an adorable cake with me for celebration, and upon asking the waitress, she was jolly good about giving us extra spoons and a knife to cut it. We paid 75€ for two people, which included two big drinks, two sushi mixed plates, and two miso soup. 100% recommend them. The most fun part was the very 80s asian music playing here I loved it 🤓

Asian Soul Food is a metaphor but this restaurant really delivers. It’s super delicious and fair priced. From sushi to pho to teriyaki you’ll find all the amazing Asian dishes here. Great selection of beers and lemonade as well. Really cool place. Just wish they’ll add more different desserts in the future.

Great place for sushi, and the dish presentation is unbeatable!

Service was helpful, friendly and attentive. The presentation of the dishes was amazing and a joy to watch. We had Pho, a curry and a terriyaki dish. Both my companions were very pleased with their meals. I had the pho and was positively surprised that the condiments were served separately, allowing me to use them at my own pace. The broth was absolutely delicious, and meat and noodles were cooked just right. Regarding prices I lack a reference for Heidelberg, but in my opinion it was more than fair.

Fantastic service, incredible food and a great ambience. We had chicken pho, tuna sashimi, Sake maki and Vietnamese curry. My partner, who is quite fussy about Vietnamese food, was very complimentary. I only wish we had stayed longer in Heidelberg so we could have come again

Probably the best sushi restaurant you can find in Heidelberg. Everything was delicious, prices are really fair for the quality of food and service you are getting and the place looks nice. There is also quite a lot of other meals on the menu so they have something for everybody. Definitely recommend! :)
