Amazing display of dinosaurs from tiny tributes to T-Rex. In addition of the main attraction, there is also a floor dedicated to stuffed animals. Visitors of all ages would enjoy this museum. You can lavishly spend around 2-3 hours here. A good expo of ice age fossils, gemstones and other exhibits. Opens daily from 9am to 5pm. Ticket prices are around 12€ for adults and children under 17 can visit for 6€ with valid ID.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I just visited the Senckenberg Nature Museum and wow, what a place! The dinosaur skeletons are a major highlight – they're huge and so impressive. It's not every day you see something like that up close. Besides being fun, it's also really educational. I learned loads about earth's history and wildlife. The information is easy to understand, so you leave feeling smarter than when you arrived. The whole place is spacious, clean, and well laid out. Navigating through the exhibits was a breeze. Plus, the staff are friendly and seem to really know their stuff. Getting there was easy; If you're in Frankfurt and looking for something interesting to do, the Senckenberg Museum is definitely worth a visit. Loved every bit of it!

(Translated by Google) The Senckenberg Museum is always worth a visit. A representative building with a large selection of sights. On more than 6000 square meters you can discover dinosaur skeletons, rare fossils, habitats of extinct species and much more. Particularly suitable for children. The entrance fees are moderate. Families can come to the museum from 10 euros. Otherwise adults 10 euros, children from 6 years 5 euros. You should bring a lot of time. There is a lot of interesting to discover. Man sollte sehr viel Zeit mitbringen. Es gibt sehr viel Interessantes zu entdecken.

Wonderful wonderful place. Went at noon on a weekday and it wasn’t too crowded. Lockers are available for a small deposits. Hundreds of exhibits like fossils, taxidermy, insects, birds, mammals, ocean life and geology. 3 levels in total and spent slightly more than 3 hrs there. There’s also a cafe and a souvenir shop.

Just wow! To be frank I am not a museum fan. I was bit sceptical about going here, however I wanted to learn about Dinosaurs 🦖 (And a T-Rex fan 😬) so I went in for a visit and got awestruck. This museum is more than just Dinosaurs. You can see many things about fossils and world evolutions!!! Just fantastic! I was able to be there for only 3 hours, but wasn’t sufficient. I will definitely visit there one more time and spend more time. ☕️: There is a small coffee vending machines and a small break area. (But OK kind) Must go place to visit with kids!!!

Amazing museum with lots of cool history to check out. Spent a couple of hours in here and it was worth the drive from Kaiserslautern.

Senckenberg Museum is one of the museums that should be on your list of places to see in the city. They have many exhibits that change fairly frequently and is a great place for all ages. You'll see everything from dinosaurs, animals, fish, etc. Guided tours are also available if you have a large group. They also offer tours at night, inspired by the Ben Stiller movie, Night at the Museum. I found my guide to be quite knowledgeable, during our one-hour tour we visited 3 exhibits. But wished we had more time to see the entire museum. On the main floors where the dinos can be found, you can grab free posters to take home as a neat souvenir.

Do not miss if you are in and around Frankfurt with kids (and even without them😆) Great, great museum, interesting, explorative, scientific... but above all fun!! Ver ver fun for kids, also for their parents. Plan for at least 3 hours, there are benches and a bistro to take a break, drink and eat something. Very family friendly, even for very small kids and families with strollers. Parking is easy to find on the surrounding streets (on weekends at least). Also on weekends can be a little too crowded, in a working day it's much better. The only minus is that a lot of the descriptions are only in German, but I see they have been replacing them with English ones as well. Highly recommended!

Fun for adults and children, just don't wear warm clothes because most of the museum rooms don't have air conditioning. It is probably because of the wide array of fossils and models they have so no complaints there. 😃 Dinosaurs, reptiles, apes, whales, deep sea creatures... There's a lot to see here so prepare yourself for a nature lesson and a lot of fun. Get a Frankfurt card because you get half price off. 😎 The staff was nice and friendly and the place was clean. The food and beverage options felt pricey so don't plan on eating here. Are you still reading this? Just go!

One of the best places that I have ever been. It is awesome and it really takes time to see all of it, there is about three floors with a lot of different rooms that you can see skeletons, fossils, stones, stuffed animals and a lot more. The quality and quantity is both a lot and I really enjoyed it. I suggest going there and visiting all of the rooms so you don’t miss anything.

A very comprehensive and exquisitely tailored museum with highly detailed and informative exhibits on the history of man and nature. The various categories include paleontology, taxidermy, anatomy, astronomy, geology, botany, and diverse dioramas among others. The largest draws however are the dinosaur exhibits. There is also a petite movie theater showing short informative videos at regular intervals. For the weary there is a rest stop with refreshments available at surprisingly cheap prices. For those willing to loosen the purse strings, there is a slightly more premium restaurant available as well. All in all this is a good destination for a whole day family outing, with a thorough tour of the entire premises lasting around six hours, and with something available for everyone.

An evening event took place - in a very attractive location ie. Senckenberg Naturmuseum - as a part of Europe's top hematology hybrid Congress which was held in #Frankfurt 🇩🇪 from June 8-11, 2023. Congress featured a comprehensive program that encompasses all areas of hematology and allowed for networking with global experts. I was glad to be supporting EHA Team to make News stand out in media reports.

A very exciting place, especially for families with children. The museum is full of visuals with information that isn't too over the top. There are plenty of displays and specimens to take in and learn about. All information is in German, but there are some displays with information in English. It can get very packed on weekends. But otherwise it is an experience to experience while in Frankfurt.

The museum has many objects to see. On the ground floor, you can see fossils of dinosaurs, reptiles, etc. On the first floor, you can see very large variety of mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and birds. On the second floor, there are insects, dioramas, coral reefs, and something abt deep sea. The museum is not that busy on weekday, so I can take my time and enjoy it (eventhough I only spent around 2,5 hours in this museum). Overall, it's a very recommended place to visit.

Lovely natural history museum, some great exhibits! My 3yr old (and I) loved the dinosaurs. Fantastic collection of semi precious stones on display too. Would definitely go back without a 3yr old in tow - it'd allow me to take some better pics without being on toddler time! Look out for Lucy - she's important.

Senckenberg Museum is the largest nature museum in Frankfurt, Germany. Senckenberg has the largest exhibition of great dinosaurs in Europe. Also, the museum contains the largest and most diverse collection in the world, with around 2000 filled samples from birds. The museum has a large collection of dinosaur skeletons. Nearly 400,000 people visited the museum in 2004. The Senckenberg Museum was built between 1904 and 1907 outside the center of Frankfurt in the same area as the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University founded in 1914.

Amazing place! My family and I went here during winter season and there was a locker room to place your coats so you don't have to carry it around. There are many different exhibitions and they are all very interesting. We spent about 3+ hours here. The exhibitions are also interactive and very informative! There is also a bistro here that serves delicious food. Definitely recommend coming here if you are in Frankfurt!

Amazing experience!!! If you visit Frankfurt, this museum is a must! I think the only problem about this museum is that all the explanations are in German :( We would appreciate more English explanations to understand the exhibitions better. Also, we planned to spend 1 hour here, so arrived around 16.00. This was a big mistake! If you're a science enthusiast, you should leave at least 2,5 hours for this place.

Great museum with lots of pre-historic artefacts: from dinosaur egg nests to early human skeletons, from mammoth carcasses to modern birds models. There are quite interesting exhibition with cool-looking minerals, especially those shining brightly in ultraviolet luminescence. Also, there are some temporary exhibitions, e.g. to raise awareness on climate changes caused by human race. The place is kid-friendly but note that there are not too many information available in English. They have a cafe but the menu is only suitable for a quick bite, alas.

This is a very nice nature science museum with a large collection of fossils. Als a nice collection of birds and other animals. Not expensive, very good price experience. You enter the museum and when you walk straight ahead, there is a very nice big room with replica dinosaurs to give you a realistic impression of the size. Also download the museum app, there some virtual reality room where you see the dino's walking around. Also a good piece about eco systems and preservation of nature.

The first time I visited this museum I really enjoyed it, but only after I visited the natural history museum of London did I realize what a gem is hiding in Frankfurt. Definitely much better than the London version, more organised, more interesting collection, bigger collection of certain types of animals... Now they just need to find a way to hype it up as much as the London guys do ;)

Just visited the museum for the summer night tour and it was amazing. We will recommend it to everyone. Our guide peter was charming and knowledgeable and entertaining and we had a great time asking him questions and exploring the museum at night. It was a private session for the two of us and we agree that this must be the only way to visit a museum. We have visited the museum in normal hours with our kids before but it was quite stressful (busy and also young kids). The night tour was quieter and the private tour of course made it much more informative. You could tell that our guide is in love with the museum and the fact we got the whole tour on English without having organized that in advance was especially kind of him. We would definitely do this again. We had a lovely evening.

(Translated by Google) The museum itself is very interesting, I already knew it from my school days. Highly recommended for children from primary school age. What frightened me, however, is that the distance rules were as good as not observed. In the smaller rooms it was very cramped and everyone attacks something with their hands. What also surprised me was that there were parents with babies there without bigger children. Apparently these are child prodigies, there should be. I don't think that's so great at the moment. Otherwise we liked it.

(Translated by Google) Today we were in the deep-sea exhibition for which a reservation is required. The exhibition itself was very interesting, but it was INCREDIBLE what parents let their children get away with. There was only screaming, running and it was difficult to concentrate on the lyrics. The parents didn't care about the minimum distance either and so I couldn't even begin to enjoy the 45 minutes of time. You could completely forget the room in which the sounds of the deep sea were played. There was only constant blaring about Mama, Leopold and what do I hear, apart from "catch me". Does it have to be that way?!? Even as a childless person I have paid admission and have the right to devote my attention to the exhibition. It goes without saying that children have an urge to move. Nevertheless, one should also teach one's children consideration.

THIS is the best museum of all Frankfurt! Take your kids and spend a day there! They will never ever forget the snake that eats a wild hog and the dinosaurs and it will be an amazing day! I love this place since i can walk and i deeply believe that EVERY child in the world will love that place too! (For the coffee fans there is a coffe place inside as well! ;-) )

Very interesting place. You would be amazed and will learn something as well. Animals. Planets. Water. Materials. Dinosaurs. Ores. I would bring my Geiger counter the next time I visit. I highly recommend this museum.

Compare to Natural History Museums in other city, this one is quite small and not much to see.

I will recommend it to anyone who likes to see how the nature evolves based on incredible fossils and specimens. It’s more like a art museum where the theme is the nature
