Food was mostly good - appetizers and cocktails were very good, main courses were mediocre, desserts were many different things that were good but did nothing for each other. The service was both patronizing and charming. It was obvious the waitress thought we are not sophisticated enough for the restaurant because we didn't have a reservation and were not dressed. We found it mostly amusing, as the food was very old fashioned as in strong 80s influences in the presentation and mix of overpowering flavors. For example, the lobster bisque was more of a fish bouillon with strong saffron presence. It was good - but it has been a long time since I ate something like that. The lamb main dish was excellent; the veal was very boring, both the meat and the baked pasta that accompanied it. The sweetbread that made me order it was hardly noticeable. Fish was ok, no more and no less. The view compensates for almost everything and it was pleasant and fun. If you are willing to spend at least €80 per person before drinks you can do much worse.

Wir haben hier schon mehrmals den Geburtstag von meiner Freundin gefeiert und ich muss sagen, dass das Main Tower Restaurant für mich das beste Restaurant in Frankfurt ist. Das Essen verdient 5 Sterne und auch der Service. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön. Es ist zwar nicht günstig, aber für einen schönen Geburtstag, war es mir das Wert. Hier wird man auch satt, im vergleich zu manchen anderen Restaurants, die ähnliche Preise verlangen.

Since I live in Frankfurt (which is about 3 years) I've always wished to experience this amazing Panorama Restaurant, highlight of the city. I had luck, as I called only 10min before my arrival to book a table, and had luck to receive one (normally one needs to book days earlier, and sometimes weeks). Needless to say I was amazed with the beautiful panorama and the simple, yet sophisticated interior of the restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. Some of the ingredients were complete new to me (as I usually stick to me personally known recepies). Every course was presented in details by the competent and very polite and professional waiter. Special thanks to the waiter Mr. Wilhelm (I hope I rememmber correctly) who made our experienced so pleasant. With regards to the price, I would not say it is expensive. The price suits the overall sensation (the spectacular view and meals) + location. Best Regards, Nevena

We wanted to have some drinks on a Thursday’s evening. When we arrive, they told us with 2 doses you need to have a test. So we went outside to do test waiting 20 minutes outside for our results to enter the restaurant. When we came second time with our results, they told us we should have a reservation. We called and then the security told us we should order 30 euro per person minimum. So we went away… Seems they didn’t want us, like their guests. PS two stars just for Corona safety checks, otherwise one star.

Ich hatte hier meine Frau zum Essen eingeladen. Die Aussicht lässt einen förmlich schweben. Das Essen war wirklich sehr Lecker, und am Ende gab es noch eine Käseplatte aufs haus.

Kreative, kunstvoll präsentierte Gerichte, in einem angesagten, großartigen Gourmetrestaurant! Für mich das Main Tower Restaurant ist das beste Restaurant in Frankfurt . Das Essen verdient 10 Sterne und auch der Service ist hervorragend! Das war ein besonderer Abend mit fantastischer Aussicht!

I would give more than 5 stars if i could do. Everything is perfect. Very good service. Beautiful view. Amazing creative food. Very delicious. We reserved a table for 3 course dinner for our wedding anniversary last year and this year. The price is quiet expensive. But worth it. We want to go for fantastic dinner here to celebrate our wedding anniversary every year.

Sehr gutes Essen, ganze Menü wirklich super. Service war gut, aber nicht wirklich besonders bei dem Preisniveau. Ambiente ist eher etwas kühl, da doch sehr netter Ausblick, aber grosser Raum in dem man etwas verloren sitzt

Ein gutes Menü ist wie ein gutes Rockalbum. Alle Songs sind Variationen desselben Themas, aber jeder für sich genommen ist geil! So ist das Menü im Maintower-Restaurant. Das Thema sind asiatisch modifizierte Leckerbissen der klassischen Gourmetküche. Wunderschön angerichtet mit verspielten aber immer passenden Details. Präsentiert von einem sympathischen und motivierten Serviceteam. Zum Ambiente muss bei einer wunderbaren Aussicht in 187m Höhe über Frankfurt (und Umgebung) sicherlich nichts mehr gesagt werden. Ein Genuss! Auch der 2. Besuch bestätigt den Eindruck vom 1. Mal uneingeschränkt. Chef Weghofer ist ein Meister der Komposition, der Ästhetik und des perfekten Bissens. Und der Geduld, wie sein Umgang mit einem äußerst impertinenten Paar am Nachbartisch bewiesen hat.

Liebes Maintower-Team, wir durften bei Ihnen am 21.11 Gast sein und der Abend war unbeschreiblich schön. Aber natürlich möchten wir auch andere an unserer Erfahrungen teilhaben lassen. Das Restaurant liegt im Frankfurter Maintower in 187m Höhe. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt und an unseren Platz begleitet. Die Aussicht war grandios, da alle Tische am Fenster platziert sind. Da wir immer alkoholfrei unterwegs sind, freuen wir uns immer über alkoholfreie Alternativen. Sowohl beim Appetitv als auch bei der Menü Begleitung wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Nun zum Essen. Dieses ist sehr asiatisch angehaucht. Angefangen bei den Grüßen aus der Küche bis hin zum gesamten Menü, war wirklich alles hervorragend. Toller Geschmack und eine hervorragende Produktqualität. Die Gänge waren alle sehr ansehnlich angerichtet. Mein Favorit war dieser unglaublich gute Milchreis. Dabei bin ich für gewöhlich kein großer Fan von Milchreis. Der Favorit meiner Frau war der Entenleber Gang, auch dies ist normalerweise nicht Ihr Lieblingsprodukt. Daran kann man sehen wie hervorragend die Küche ihren Job macht, wenn Sie Menschen überzeugen kann. Also nochmal vielen Dank an das wirklich tolle Service Team und die grandiose Küche. Very nice restaurant and bar, friendly staff and ambiance. I i came here after finishing the main tower top floor. Drinks are of reasonable price and the seatings allow you to enjoy the view of the city from up high. I did not eat anything so cannot comment on the quality of the food, however where given truffle infused popcorn as a side to my beer and it tastes amazing.

View is cool, but a little expensive at 9 euro per adult. Wait time was about 20 mins which was okay. Coldplay was playing that night so maybe its usually a little less busy.

The view is really nice but if you didnt book for the restaurant more than taking photos there is not much up there

Wonderful restaurant with delicious, creative food at the top of a highrise in downtown Frankfurt. Everything served was individually prepared with the utmost attention to detail. The knowledgeable staff explained every dish chef prepared with complete understanding. The wine pairings complemented and completed every dish. Just when we thought we were done, a wonderful assortment of petite four arrived to finish our delicious meal. The only issue is there is no parking on site, but a parking garage is a couple blocks down the street.

I had to wait in the queue for almost half an hour now and still waiting in the cold because the worker here is in the lunch break. I suppose this establishment doesn’t have enough financial resources to hire a second worker so they can take turns.

My wife went there to have drinks and the place was closed and the website said it was open. We went at 19:00 pm They need to update their website to give the correct hours of operation.

Absolutely recommend this restaurant. Food is delicious and you will have fantastic view of Frankfurt. I would like to thank the staff and especially our waiter. They are super professional and friendly. Don’t forget to reserve a table before you go there. Looking forward to come again.

Excellent lunch and excellent service. Prix Fixe menu with either two or three courses and two choices at each course. I did the three courses with a wine pairing with each course. Fabulous views at every table. Restaurant is on 53rd floor. Allow 5-10 minutes wait for security screening and elevator which is also taking tourists to 55th floor observation deck. They pay 7.50 each for that. No charge if going to restaurant.

Wir waren mit unserer Tochter im Rollstuhl dort. Ein besonderer und perfekter Abend. Uns gefällt das Ambiente und die Atmosphäre und die Aussicht. Super leckeres Essen. Die perfekte Harmonie. Die Bilder sprechen für sich. Der Service ist sehr nett und freundlich. Sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Uns hat auch die alkokolfreie Getränkebegleitung zum Menü sehr gut gefallen. Jederzeit würden wir gerne wiederkommen.

10/10 - von der Begrüßung bis zum Abschied hat hier alles gepasst. Wir waren begeistert vom Essen, dem Service, der Aussicht und dem Ambiente. Wer etwas wirklich besonderes sucht, kommt hier auf seine Kosten. Dank an das komplette Team für diesen fantastischen Abend!

After revamping their menu and concept the food is even better than it used to be, whereas it was once excellent now it's phenomenal. It's an experience in itself to be served by the professional team, many special thanks to Mr. Willi.

I have ordered a gift voucher at their web 5 days ago and nobody has contacted me since then, I was calling them, only aswering machine there all day long (ooops...), left a message, nobody calls back....

I cannot express how nice this place is! First of all, an amazing view 🤩🤩 Second - great cocktails and they make anything you want. And of course am- the food! I heard from my friends in the past that they were not that happy with the food, but I think something changed in the last year - now it is amazing! The stuff is simply the best! Can only recommend this place.
