Ok so 1st time there ... we order the Blue cheese steak and King Prawns. If you dont go while your in Frankfurt you dont lobe yourself... thats the best way i can put it. The food here is absolutely amazing. A must try ... the escargot !!! Your tongue will dance !! You will sing !!

If you want enjoy your meal you should go there. Perfect food and perfect customer service. They have very good seafood too. Sit back, relax and enjoy! Just enjoy!

Was initially slightly skeptical of this top rated restaurant in Frankfurt on TripAdvisor with similarly excellent reviews on Google. What makes this steakhouse stand out in comparison with the others? When we stepped in it was a cosy and homely interior coupled with an incredibly friendly and welcoming owner. The other staff were equally attentive to our preferences and overall the service was impeccable. The amuse bouche of pumpkin ginger soup was amazing - light to the palate while tasty. The beef spaghetti wowed us - it was simple yet one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Do try the filet mignon done in 3 different sauces, it was extremely tender and soft and barely had any chewiness or toughness apparent in many steaks done elsewhere.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Fleisch Qualität ist absolut einwandfrei und super Lecker. Auch alle anderen Gerichte sind immer extrem lecker. Habe schon einiges probiert. Service war auch einwandfrei. Die Suppe war ein Gruß aus der Küche sehr aufmerksam. Das Geschirr ist nicht gerade das schönste aber ansonsten alles super.

The margarita is on point....and diverse menu 😋 the steaks are really worth every penny in my opinion and the service was amazing...its somewhere you can sit eat drink n forget that time flies:)

Die guten Bewertungen können wir leider nicht unbedingt nachvollziehen. Eine Mittelklasse Steakhaus, mehr nicht. Fleisch war OK, mehr jedoch nicht. Alle hatten Sehnen O.ä. in den Stücken. Die Rotweinsauce war gut. Eine Ofenkartoffel, zweimal mit rohem Kern serviert und dann auf der Rechnung, obwohl gesagt wurde, dass es runter geht. Nach Bemerkung hat man es runtergenommen. Kaiserschmarrn als extrem gut angepriesen, leider auch das nicht unser Geschmack. Hat sehr nach Grieß geschmeckt. Alle Desserts hatten extrem viel Sahne auf dem Teller. Service ok, aber es hat auch keiner etwas dafür getan, dass wir sagen würden "toller Service". Der Hauscocktail war gut, würden wir wieder nehmen. Ambiente ok, aber nichts Besonderes. Preis Leistung stimmt hier nicht, wie gesagt ein Mittelklasse Steakhaus mit mehr Schein als Sein.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful evening there. The service was excellent! We strongly recommend Maindiner. The meat was perfectly baked and super nice seasoned.Very good!

Great cozy atmosphere, very good food and very friendly team

I keep coming back for the Argentinian Black Angus Fillet (400 grams). The steak quality is excellent, highly recommended. I get it done rare, but I think medium rare would be ideal. I like the restaurant, which is split between indoor seating and fully covered outdoor seating (open in the winter). Highly recommended.

Sehr nette Begrüßung und aufmerksamer Service! Wir wurden mit einer Kastaniensuppee als Gruß aus der Küche überrascht. Das Steak sowie der anschließende Kaiserschmarren waren ebenfalls auf sehr hohem Niveau. Bleibt so! Wir kommen wieder!

Very welcoming and attentive. We went for our daughter's birthday and they gave us free desert and then a crème brulé because they over heard that was her favourite. Steaks are excellent and great choice of wines. Highly recommended

This was our favorite restaurant during a two week trip through Switzerland and Germany! I’m a big fan of steak and this was the best truffle steak we’ve ever tasted. The cut of filet was solid but the spices and truffle flavoring were absolutely incredible! Little things this restaurant did were things like a nice complimentary soup and bread before the meal. Staff were also attentive and extremely friendly. This restaurant was an absolute gem and would highly recommend!

The quality of the meat is outstanding, it is masterfully cooked, seasoned and presented in very generous portions. The soup of the day that often precedes the main course is always intriguing and delicious. The service is friendly, attentive and prompt, but always discrete and never too intrusive or annoying. They know their job. The environment is superb, perfect for relaxing dinners with relatives, spouse and/or friends, and also for business dinners of any level. In short: this little restaurant is a jewel,for sure the best steak house in Frankfurt, and quite possibly also one of the best in Germany. Highly recommended.

Too pricey for an average restaurant. Nothing special about the meats. Fried food are not good due to excess fat. Probably won’t go again. However staff was very good and attentive :)

Had the best evening here. Reservations were at 6 was seated immediately. Don't sleep on this menu. Everything we got was DELICIOUS. We were even given a complimentary soup and dessert that was amazing. This restaurant deserves all the stars because they provided great food and great service. When leaving we even got to speak to the owner. To me that added another star. Thank you for a fantastic evening. I highly recommend.

We had high expectations because of all the positive reviews. The food we got was very, very well made. Nothing complicated, but just really good. The service was fantastic. You know how good that is of things go slightly wrong. They didn't have the dessert I ordered any more. Took them done time to realize and because it took some time, the waiter came, apologized, recommended another dessert based on what I said I liked 15 minutes earlier and then have that dessert for free. And we hadn't complained yet as it really hadn't taken all that long! So yeah: excellent food and even better service!

Always a great experience! The service is amazing and the food is top notch. I’ve never come here and had anything short from an exceptional experience. Even when they are fully packed they make sure you are feeling cared for and attended to. I always make sure to recommend Maindiner to all my friends and anyone looking for a nice night out.

I was happy to extend my stay in Frankfurt after visiting an exhibition in Frankfurt. I used the time to do some sightseeing and luckily I found this beautiful steakhouse. I loved the outside area with fireplace and was really surprise how warm it was. They told me, that they have a heated floor and also the backside of the seating area is heated. Wow! What a nice idea. I followed the waiter's recommendation and ordered the filet scallop with Parmesan and fresh truffle on top. Amazing combination and a great taste. But before I was able to enjoy my steak, they brought me a greeting from the chef. A vegetable soup flavored with truffle. Yummy. It was so delicious. I ordered a red wine as accompaniment to my dinner. I chose a wine from Italy. The Cavalli was a great selection. It was very tasty and was is price absolutely worth. The steak was very good cooked and it come as it should be. Not too much and not too less. On the point. Love it! The nice and friendly waiter surprised me with a traditional dessert from Austria - the "Kaiserschmarrn". It was a great evening before I had to fly back home. Hopefully, and considering the current situation with the pandemic, I can come back to Frankfurt and visit this beautiful steakhouse with a great service again. ps: My visit was one week ago.

My boyfriend and I had a really nice dinner here. Everything we got was DELICIOUS. We were given a complimentary curry and coconut soup and had also dessert (tiramisu) that was very tasty. The fillet mignons we ordered were very good. Staff was very kind and helpful, great service. This restaurant deserves all the stars. Thank you for a fantastic evening. We highly recommend it.

Ambiente und Service sehr gut, da gibt es nichts zu bemängeln aber das Essen leider nur mäßig, auch Filet relativ zeh, Saucen ok aber nicht lobenswert. Wenn ich direkt in der Nähe wäre, würde wahrscheinlich wieder reingehen....aber würde es nicht extra aussuchen. Kaiserschmarn ok aber nicht besondrs gut... Tartufo leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Ein ausgezeichnetes Ribeye. Preise sind natürlich etwas gehoben, aber für die Qualität eigtl noch zu niedrig. Ansonsten ein sehr netter Service und man sitzt angenehm. Leider sind die Gin und Whiskeyflaschen neben den Tischen kein selfervice 😉

We had the steaks and the king prawns. Fabulous! Service was great. Desserts was so yummy- Kaiserscharrn and Apple strudel. And also the digestif- Mirabelle and Wild cherry.

I came for a 32 EUR marmored medium Rib Eye and a water but was given without asking the more expensive US Nebraska rib eye (42 EUR), which ended up being well done. a large bottle of water (9,50 EUR) - which was opened in front of me before I could say anything. This is all the more irritating that I asked for an extra fat piece due to being on a low carb diet. When I asked, the waitress first asked me "with no fat?, so I repeated "with as much fat as possible", but it seems even then she misunderstood.To the credit of the staff, they offered to cook another piece of meat, but unfortunately it was overcooked. I asked for a salad with only lettuce leaves and was given mixed leaves, which were not fresh (similar to the ones you buy at the supermarket). The pepper sauce was clumpy and from a powdered mix and had way too much salt. The broccoli soup had no cream or broccoli taste, it seemed again to be from a soup fix sachet (the soup was complimentary, though) My waitress was friendly and did her best but did not seem familiar with the menu, but for a 64 EUR total this is not the kind of experience you expect. My local café Odyssée offer Rump Steak for 15 EUR including sides and the taste and cooking are much superior. Buffalo Grill, while equally expensive at least make up for it by having consistently great meat quality and true (marmored) Rib Eye. I feel sorry for the waiters who did their best to compensate, but as it stands based my experience, I cannot recommend the restaurant, definitely not in that price category. I am sure it is possible to have a good experience at this restaurant (it is possible my waitress was new, and she was not native German), and I have all the understanding in the world for misunderstandings but I would still question the price considering the quality (at least for the items I ordered). I would have liked to give them a better rating because of the kind and respectful service, but it would not be fair to readers of this review. For this price range, I expected better attention to detail, as otherwise I can just go to my usual cafe next door.

Excellent Experience at Maindiner. I order the ROYAL FILLET and it was perfectly cooked sitting on top of a bed of garlic mashed potato’s which were also increíble. The 7oz fillet was topped with green onion and a garlic butter sauce that had a beautiful crispy texture to it. Overall 5 star experience. Wish I could go back

The location is very easy to find, we ate inside but there is an area outside. From my point of view the restaurant will be perfect for meat lovers, there is a big variety of dishes and cuts but of course for the vegetarians there is many options too. The staff was very friendly, taste of the food is good.

Great food and service, period. The staff is very professional and food just great. There is variety of Argentinian and Nebraskan steaks, all superb. My recommendation: Argentinian black angus file mignon.

....i enjoyed the fillet mignon! Superb, the way i like it. Lovely service, we even had free Soup while waiting for our main meal. We came in 15mins before opening time, and they allowed us to already sit inside. I missed taking a foto of our main meal lol

Im Maindiner in Frankfurt hatte ich ein herausragendes kulinarisches Erlebnis. Die Vielfalt und Qualität der Speisen waren beeindruckend – jedes Gericht ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus. Der Service war exzellent, aufmerksam und freundlich. Die angenehme Atmosphäre und das durchdachte Ambiente trugen zu einem rundum gelungenen Abend bei.
