Takumi used to be one of my favorite Japanese restaurant in the city. I cannot get enough "special Tori". Anyway, the taste is not the same anymore, and the price. I can understand that the price need to be increased due to inflation. But the inflation is not the reason to reduce the quality and the taste. The noddle in the special Tori is not the same yellow and curly one. The soup, which used to have this kind of think and white consistent, is now just extremely salty water without a hint of the taste of chicken soup. For such a portion, you have to pay 14.8 euro now. Maybe the other dishes do not change their quality. However, if you want to pay almost 15 euro for "special Tori", think twice before you order.

the ramen itself is a bit too salty, but the kara age and shrimp are really crispy 😋 Those without reservation are likely to have to eat outside or wait a long queue

I was really excited to try this place after hearing good word about it. However, I was disappointed. The broth was tasty but I was not a fan of the yellow curly ramen noodles used. So if you are like me and enjoy the Japanese thin straight noodles, I would not recommend this place. We also ordered gyoza which were decent.

Best authentic Japanese ramen in Frankfurt with Japanese level services! Don’t be afraid of their two star chili sign - it’s not that spicy - however they offer extra spicy! A bit pricy but totally worth it. Must order: Vorspeise: Fried chicken!!! Dumpling is just alright (I prefer the Chinese dumpling) but they have special offer on every Wednesday Ramen: Nanban tan tan is my favorite! Mala tori the second

Fantastic ramen. The soup was great and ramen well cooked. The fried chicken on top was amazing, but it wouldn’t have hurt to put some more. Really no complaints at all, the staff worked efficiently and was kind.

Great Japanese Ramen Restaurant in Frankfurt! Food is absolutely delicious and the staff is super kind and lovely Food gets made fast and never disappoints! I can really recommend their Gyoza and Dangos. And of course their Ramen 🍜 small tip for those who come by car. there is a lawyer company very close which has parking spots you can use for free (you dont need to work there or pay parking fees, its public parking)

Small restaurant with delicious ramen & side dishes! It's a nice touch that the chef serves the food himself, which makes it an all more Japanese experience. We had some Yasai Gyoza (Veggie Gyoza) with Karaage (fried Chicken) and two different Ramen (Miso Ramen in the picture). Amazing broth, amazing toppings, perfect noodle texture. Spice can also be adjusted since they offer a peppermix and hot chilli oil. As dessert we had Mitarashi Dango (rice dumplings in soy sauce and sugar syrup). They also offer their own instant Ramen for 2€ each! We ordered two as well to try at home and had an overall bill of only 49€! Will definitely come here again - the Ramen definitely gives a home-y feel. The area is also nice to take a walk in after eating :) (you can find more pictures on Instagram @nihonchou)

Slightly disappointing experience. The ramen broth is tasty but the rest is not up to expectation. Pork wasn’t the tender thick piece you are usually used to but just shabu Shaun pork seasoned and pan fried. Egg was tasteless and too soft. Noodles and kimchi just store bought.

I finally made it to try Takumi in Frankfurt though I have visited their shops in different cities of Germany and even Becsalona. As I am so familiar with this Japanese ramen restaurant, I know very well what they have to offer. There was no surprise, either pleasant or negative, when I visited their Frankfurt shop. A good place for authentic Japanese ramen though I prefer thinner ramen like those served by the nearby Ramen Jun. Service was a bit slow as there were only two waiters at the time we were there. The atmosphere was casual but it was a bit noisy.

What a beautiful experience! We miss Japan so much and really miss traditional Japanese ramen. Takumi was absolutely amazing and we felt like we here home in Japan! Best ramen we’ve had in a long time!!! They are busy on the weekends so you will definitely want a reservation, but even if you don’t have a reservation they will add you to the waitlist. — and it’s worth the wait! Great service, great food and great atmosphere 10/10.

Went there twice in a week and there’ll be a third time for sure :) The veggie miso (especially the broth) is top rated among my friends from both Asia and Europe. Karaage is very juice and serves as a great addition to whatever the ramen you get. Ps: Veggie miso > Tori miso > Tori Paitan

Very tasty ramen, especially the seasonal special menu items are consistently innovative and of the highest quality. Nifty merch is an added bonus. Service can be on the slow side during busy lunch periods, so come hungry yet patient!

Went there for lunch with a colleague. The food was very tasty. The service friendly. The prices of the Ramen vary. As a lunch special you can order in addition some sides like Gyoza (6 pieces) for 3,- EUR. In overall for almost 24 EUR incl. a Jasmin tea it is kinda pricy for a lunch. It's probably due to the location in Frankfurt Westend and Japanese Food is in general more expensive in Germany. For me personally it's something you can have once in a while but not on a daily basis. But the taste of the food was really good and satisfying ☺️

Good tonkotsu, ok price. Gyoza ok. A bunch of workers know german well but english not so well, but adds to the experience I guess.

Friendly service, nice seating but Ramen (broth, egg, veg, meat) are all not very pleasant

I haven't had the chance to dine in at Takumi, but their delivery service is out of this world for Frankfurt measures! I can't get enough of their mouth-watering dumplings - they're simply divine! And let's talk about the packaging - it’s not a simple plastic things that every delivery has, but their own cute boxes! I highly recommend you give Takumi a try for an decent Japanese meal experience

I have eaten at Takumi's many, many times and have never left unsatisfied. The food is fantastic and the staff are friendly and professional. My favorite things on the menu are their Veggie Kakiage Tan Tan Men ramen, and I love their Age Gyoza Red! You have to try it - it's a bit spicy so be ready for that!

It’s an off-shoot of the restaurant of the same name in Düsseldorf but menu is a bit different. Really good authentic Ramen. Recommend to reserve, especially on weekends.
