Sehr gutes Frühstück, guter Cafe. Liebevoll zubereitet, sehr nettes Personal. Schönes gemütliches Ambiente und schöne Deko. Auch bei diesem Besuch alles super! Wir werden wiederkommen.

Die dicke Lilli ist ein tolles Kaffee mit selbst gemachten Kuchen und einer tollen Atmosphäre. Das Kaffee lädt zum sitzen und verweilen ein. Hier kann man ganz in Ruhe nach einem Stadtbummel sich erholen bei einem leckeren Stück Kuchen. Das Personal ist nett und höflich.

Leckeres Essen. Tolles Ambiente. Hervorragender Service. Ich hatte mich in der Bestellung geirrt, konnte das Gericht dann aber anstandslos zurückgehen lassen und bekam genau das, was ich eigentlich wollte. Der Service ist sehr schnell, wach und freundlich. Bin zwar aus Hamburg, aber werde definitiv wiederkommen.

Sehr schönes Café und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Der Kaffee war lecker und mein Joghurt mit Müsli ebenfalls. Für einen Besuch am Wochenende sollte man vorher reservieren, damit man nicht warten muss.

Das Café liegt super süß in der schönen Altstadt neben weiteren kleinen Cafés und Läden zum stöbern. Das Essen war sehr sehr gut. Unter der Woche war es schon recht voll weswegen ich am Wochenende versuchen würde zu reservieren. Trotz dass es voll war kam das Essen schnell. Das Personal war auch freundlich.

Cappuccino and chocolate-strawberry cake taste very well. In addition staffs are lovely and funny ☕️ 🍰. I definitely remember the funny words of funny waiter “ Kuchen in der Küche“ 🤣🤣🤣

Süßes Café, sehr nette Bedienung. Das Brot hätte knuspriger sein können.

Echt nettes Personal, war nur leider 2x bei uns, zum Kassieren sind wir rein gegangen. Das Essen war super Lecker, sowie die Getränke die wir hatten. Das Gebäck sah auch sehr ansprechend aus.

Very nice place to take a good breakfast/brunch. I had scrumbbled eggs and a yogurt, my friend had the jam and cheese plate and both were very delicious. Only "but" was that at the end the staff was so busy that did not appear again so we had to go to the bar to ask for another drink. But in general I liked the place, the staff was very friendly and the food was good. For sure I will come back.

We eat here at the end of October 2022 and enjoyed our lunch. We had two of the Dicke Lilli buns which were tasty. It was a sunny day so the cafe was very full. The staff were friendly and even served tap water (a bonus point!)

This is a very cute cafe in Mainz close to the city center. It’s always very lively inside and they offer daily specials in addition to what’s on the menu. They have a range of vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast and lunch and dinner as well as vegan dessert. The best part is they don’t charge extra for vegan milk alternatives. They clearly state that almost everything is made by the restaurant itself and ingredients like eggs or milk come from local farms in the region. The bread comes from bàckerei vetter in Mainz altstadt. The coffee beans are also from the Mainz kaffeerösterei amori coffee.

Knowing Germans do their breakfasts seriously but this is above all I had tried in Germany.

Nothing really special. Small place, narrow seats. Just typical german breakfast mostly (bread + cheese + eggs). We expected at least something unusual (like Avocado toast or Asai Bowl), but nothing like this. Coffee just average (better than typical german coffee, but can't compare to their neighbours just around the corner). Sometimes you'll be asked to come again in like 15 minutes to get your table and then you'll just getting the table that was empty ("Reserved") all the time. Doesn't worth a waiting.

Relaxed, fun, whimsical decor, upscale without feeling stuffy. Server(s) speak English. Ceramic parrot pair in display case render logo inspiration. If you don't like sitting with you back to the street, no worries! There is a mirror overhead to reflect street action.
