This has been the most heartwarming experience in my 2-month Europe trip across several neighboring countries from a total stranger. Very heartfelt service by Phillip showing me around and giving me a free trial there. I felt very welcomed. After I finished my training, he went out of his way to offer me a 7-day free access voucher to all other Fitness First in Germany. All giving with no expectations. I would certainly have joined as a member if I lived here. Highly recommended!

It’s the best fitness first I have experienced. I have been to many places in the world and this is by far the best one. The staff are great, helpful . We feel here like at home. We thank god every day that we are here. It’s like paradise and every day we are not here feels like missing something!

Customer Service is really bad today. I went over asked for help on returning the card, and explained my difficicult situation on coming to Frankfurt to do that, at least some better advice could be offered with somewhat understanding and caring, instead, i was only told "write an E-Mail" "I can not understand you" over and over. It used to be a great place with customer Service (I try my best with German but english was also possible on explaining some further details - considering it was an international Environment), today it really shocked me on how staff can be so diferent on handling requests. Now my issue is not solved, and more of that, I might need to come to Frankfurt again to return the card and get the deposit!!

I love this gym! I always enter with a warm welcome by the staff, who speak both German and English, and want to make sure you are comfortable and ready for your workout, whether alone or as part of a course. There is a great team spirit amongst the FF team at Opern Platz, which really makes a difference. They enjoy a laugh and encourage you throughout the classes, making sure that your workout is safe and successful. Thanks FF community, for making this gym such a warm and welcome environment! Fantastic gym, one of the best gyms I have seen over the world. Staff is very nice, the gym is very clean and spacious. There is a huge pool with a steam room and saludas, nice lounge area to rest by the pool.

Gym with swimming pool (3 lanes) and beautiful SPA area. Everything is very high quality. Friendly employees who help with questions. For my needs there could be more devices of the same type so that you don't have to wait so long during rush hour.

By far the best gym in Ffm, the staff is super professional and caters to every customer request. The premises were recently enlarged. The members are all respectful to each other and the equipment is cleared away. The wellness area is great. All in a very good gym.

Super nice gym! The trainers are very nice and helpful :) there is a pool, sauna and steam bath and what is super practical is that there are also towels to borrow on site. Can only recommend it ☺️

Since I'm new in town, I'm just looking around. Accustomed to the standards of exclusive studios, I went to have a look THIS MORNING without high expectations and was allowed to do a trial training session straight away and spontaneously. I was thrilled for the first impression. Very balanced facilities, even a 25m pool, plenty of space for free training and even an exciting climbing wall. I'm curious to see if this can be topped and I'll check back and maybe I'll become a member!

Fitness First is a unique place where you find almost all kinds of equipment and tools. Staff and trainers are so friendly and professional and they keep your motivation always at a high level. In addition to this, you can attend the free courses, and enjoy the sauna and pool.

I know this gym through my boyfriend who is very satisfied with it! Prime location, spacious and with a variety of machines to choice from. Classes are included and all facilities are clean and well looked after. Would recommend this gym, especially to people working in the city centre.

Really nice gym. Equipments are all new and the staff are very friendly. Convenient location and easily accessible from the middle of the city. Highly recommended for tourists or locals.

We had a personal training session this morning with Anton and it was amazing! The perfect mix of strength and cardio. Anton is really good at helping you get the most out of your workout. The studio is well equipped with lots of machine, and free weights. Great location right in downtown Frankfurt. Very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a personal trainer highly recommend Anton!

Best gym in town and it keeps improving 🥰 friendly and professional staff, nice and happy customers, top level machines, enough space to work out without stepping on each other toes. Clean and well maintained, frequent renovations and improvements. After 6 years at this club I gall have moved abroad but I am always looking forward to my coming back when I’m in town. Please please rejoin Urban sportsclub or Classpass or create a membership for those who, like me, are in town only a few times per month, I don’t want to be forced to go to another gym!!!

There are 2 best Fitness First in Frankfurt. Here and MyZeil. I can't definitely choose which one is best since here is unique 3 floor location, sauna and swimming pool, when in MyZeil they have huge space and Skyline view So I simply recommend to go both :D ... Swimming pool and sauna are better in Opernplatz :)

I love it!! Really one of the best gyms I’ve been! Nice environment, you will find all you need to have a great training and don’t get me started with the courses… they are amazing! There is a big variety of courses to choose depending of what you like, you will for sure find one that suit you. 100% recommended.

I have written to the customer service in the summer of 2020 on ending my contract for 2021, and received the confirmation. I thought with one year to process, there should not be a problem. However, my contract ended officially in June 2021, but still, fitness first deducted money from my bank account continuously, and for period of june-july (after my contract ending date), it was even deducted 3 times!!! Twice it was mixed with other installments collection (during the lock down period), so it was not that easy for the customer to find out - feels really sneaky, I only found out when I checked the bank statement history very closely in details!!! I wrote to customer service at least with 10 emails, took them long time to reply, and I have sent several reminders, they only replied seldomly, and saying they will "correct the mistake", but somehow, I still did not get my money back, now it is almost 3 months after my contract ending date, they have deducted 5 months' installments from my bank, and probably continuously!!! I can not believe how unprofessional and what a scam this company is!! The customer service is almost equal to zero on any complaints and help, they have also rejected to receive my pfandkarte and return the deposit! If you are thinking to sign up with fitness first, be careful! It could be deducting your money in a "tricky" way and you should check closely every month!!! If you are seeking to end your contract, check your bank statements closely in details even after the contract ending date, and do not forget within 8 weeks, you can reject any illegal direct debit made by unprofessional company or from any scam!

Great club in a prime location, everything looks very well maintained and high quality. Fortunately, the lockers are quite large. Lots of options for free weight training, great pool and a large sauna with relaxation area. There are certainly many other advantages but that’s what I mostly use 🙂

In the beginning, I had consistently positive experiences, although not all of the employees were always friendly. After the renovation, however, there is quite a mess. Some devices are placed in completely different locations, which results in a significant loss of time. Due to health reasons I had to resign without notice. Unfortunately, I received neither confirmation nor feedback. Instead, I just received an automated email. Only after more than four weeks and a telephone inquiry was it explained to me that my termination or the certificate were not sufficient. In the meantime, of course, contributions continued to be debited. If they had contacted me in time, I would have submitted the missing documents immediately and thus avoided additional costs. Now the legal protection insurance has to step in to collect the monthly contribution legally. I must add that the documents were not legally incomplete and the studio's guidelines speak against court decisions. There is no need for a certificate confirming “permanent inability to play sports” after court decisions in the event of terminations without notice. However, the studio insisted on this. It was amusing and funny when employees explained the legal basis during the phone call. I couldn't count how many times the consumer's rights were violated. It is best to train employees so that no nonsense is said or to clarify illegal statements.

Oh hey FF, G’day ! I went there earlier just to suss out the gym and to see if they offer a free trial cause am travelling atm and which they do. Was attended by one of the associates at the reception, his name is Philip, what an absolute champ ! A huge shoutout to him ! He’s been absolutely amazing, he’s so thorough on explaining things, what the gym has to offer, the facilities they got as in sauna, steam, pool, bouldering, and what classes that are on today and for tomorrow. Will defo recommend this FF branch to everyone out there who wants to be a part of em or even just for a trial to suss things out.

I am a member for almost a year and i would like to emphasize impeccable hygiene of the place, great availability of the machines as well as spacious zones for different types of training. Recently they even extended free weights zone :) the pool is large and always clean with perfect temperature of the water :) my warm recommendation to everyone!

An amazing gym it has everything you can ever need to be fit it even has a rock climbing wall and a full sized pool for laps. Highly highly recommended

I was here for a trial in November. The employees are super friendly and very welcoming. One star deduction for the way gym was built, it has about 3 floors and its a bit annoying to go up and down the stairs and switching areas. Other than that, great! They have a boulder wall which is pretty cool, a pool and sauna.

Cluttered with equipment and dark. Pool area could have been lighter at least. Incline doesn't work on one treadmill. Most of the staff is kind and helpful, but not all.

Because of my work I had the opportunity to go to different cities in Germany, consequently I’ve been trying other Fitness First Clubs all over Germany. And for me the best Club so far is the one I have been going regularly in Frankfurt, Opernplaz. I’m so grateful that I had the opportunity to meet Phillipp at Opernplatz. He is always so helpful, friendly, comprehensive and professional. I’m thankful for having a good time at Fitness First, but also sad I have to leave. I’m aware of the fee I have to pay for dissolving the contract, but the only thing I can’t understand is that I still need to pay one more month once I’m 5 hours away from Frankfurt and I can’t go training, because there is no Fitness First Club around me. I think there should be a second option for those cases.

I have been a member for a year now. Super happy with the club. The club has state of the art equipment, group classes, sauna and much more. The trainers are super friendly - I would recommend Toon she's amazing. I got a structured training plan based on my body type and goals.

The branch is very well equipped with everything you need and beyond. The cleanness of all the facility and the friendliness of the staff are impeccable. Wether for monthly subscription or daily visit, i highly recommend FF especially this branch !

Top class training facility right in the middle of the city. You can use the gym all around Germany once you are registered. Open 6am - 11pm on weekdays which helps a lot. Definitely recommend.

Using this branch almost for a year. Trainers are super friendly and supportive. Very well equipped work out spaces including a pool as well. They offer towels which is great for those visit often. Just be aware of the rush time and summer time may be very warm inside :)

I have been in three different Gyms/Memberships around Stuttgart and Frankfurt. I can for sure say FitnessFirst is the best overall. With a black membership you can train in any available one in Germany, plus there is pool, sauna, courses, training evaluation, and everything has an excellent quality. The Personnel are very friendly and helpful, and the price is not that high compared to others which provide less than what FF does.

This gym has impressed me by its quality and their professional team that are always attentive. The best is the possibility to go in other ones around with different sport activities

I’ve started a contract with them over a year.. What they promised while signing the contract is different than what they told me afterwards. As example , they said that I could invite friend to training for free on Fridays , Saturdays and Sundays . The manager of the fitness was denying all of that afterwards and assume that the worker didn’t have enough information and that’s why I don’t have the right for that. Since then , the manager was very unfriendly to me and told me “you can do whatever you want but you’re not gonna bring anyone with you on those days”. After recommending the place I am very disappointed about it and already ended my contract with them.

Increadible service! This is one of the best gyms in Frankfurt. New machines kept very clean and sanitized by the Team. I would recommend this gym to my best friend. The wellness area is spacious and has everything you need to relax after a great workout.

I recently started going to Fitness First Frankfurt - Opernplatz and have been extremely impressed with the facility. The gym is always clean and well-maintained, with a wide variety of top-of-the-line equipment to choose from. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and one member in particular, Philip, really stands out for his excellent customer service and fluency in English. He went above and beyond by offering me a guest card and was always willing to offer assistance or answer any questions I had. In addition to the high-quality equipment and friendly staff, Fitness First Opernplatz also has a range of amenities including a pool, sauna, and steam room. These are great for relaxing and unwinding after a workout. Overall, I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a top-notch fitness experience. Five stars!

I've been a McFit member for many years & finally planned to switch to Fitness first. Although it has been a couple of weeks now, but it has been the best decision ever. The infrastructure, the trainers, the equipments & the training programs are top of the line. I'm loving it & feel the urge to go again & again. They also have a brilliant app to sync all the necessary data to bring the best out of you & motivate you to the fullest. Kudos to the entire team of fitness first & a big thanks to the folks who keep it running so well. 💪🔥😊❤️

Training at FF was by far the most positive overall experience I've had at a gym in Ffm. The personnel were friendly and willing to assist me in English. The cleanliness of the studio, including the showers and changing area, easily contributed to my five star rating. Very cool gym with modern facilities, a female-only sauna and steambath, a swimming pool, and very friendly staff. It can be a bit crowded in the evenings but so far I have no problem with getting a slot in classes. It also opens during Bank Holidays. Highly recommended.

The gym is really big and they have everything (freestyle, Sauna, swimming pool). The location is really central. I went to try the gym (you have to book online) and I really liked it. The guy at the reception (Ali) was great, welcoming and he showed me around. The changing area was big and clean. In general the Gym itself was clean.

Great location near Opernplatz, surrounded by a wonderful park. The gym itself is quite large, much larger than it seems from the outside. Even features a 25m underground swimming pool with daylight from impressive windows in the ceiling. Very friendly and helpful staff, offering great classes from 20 to 60 minutes, for beginners as well as for the more advantaged. Lots of well maintained equipment. Plus a free copy of Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung if you prefer to read while cycling.

Incompetent and useless customer support + a company which changes the contract as it wishes! This review isn't against this branch in particular, but a description of how F1 works in general. I have been a member since August and of course I had to sign a "bilateral" contract, which forces me to stay a member and continue paying for 1 year. Meaning that I cannot quit the gym if I wanted to (or even if I had a reason) and they will get 1 year's worth of money. So I have to take a risk and decide if I want to join the gym. I might get sick, I might decide to leave Germany, I might not have time, and so on, but I got a binding contract forcing me to pay for 1 year. Looks fair enough and pretty common contract so far. However, in mid-contract, they send an email saying that they want more money with the standard template of the inflation going up. What did suddenly happen with contract that we signed already and for which they fixed the price? Doesn't the company need to take risks just like us customers do? Raged of this fact, I send the customer support an email asking for explanation. 1.5 months later, I have not heard from their incompetent team. I have had issues even before with them, where they took 1 month to reply to issues which would need less than 2 minutes to reply to. I know that low customer support is standard in Germany and F1 has made sure to comply to these standards. Yet again, I have nothing against the Opernplatz branch, however it's impossible to have a joyful experience when you have to have stress to contract the customer support. Will definitely look for alternatives once this contract is done.

Great place, has pool, sauna, and all the equipment necessary for all your workouts. Me and my friends come here often and have a great time while also hitting our goals.

It's so much fun to train there, the employees are in a great mood and motivate you. Because I am pregnant, my plan had to be changed, the Bekir is at my side and supports me wonderfully in my goals. The studio is very well maintained and clean, so you can just feel comfortable. Top 👍

Great studio with NOTHING to complain about. I was able to take part in the crawl course during my trial training today. That was great! A really nice, competent trainer with lots of helpful tips! All the other employees are also very friendly and will help with any questions. There is really everything you need in terms of equipment, everything is very clean! I will definitely come back and can only recommend it!

The training experience, especially due to the high-quality equipment, is probably the best in Frankfurt. For anyone who is seriously interested in strength training, Fitness First is the place to go. The steam bath, sauna and pool also meet my needs exactly. Absolutely to suggest.
