Despite of other shops, I like the Oederweg one the most due to my beloved corner seat - very cozy. Avocado chili is my favorite if you like the rich taste too. Plus their loaded fires is good if you want to have shared Pommes (bigger portion and more tasty) By the way their (2 or 3 gang) lunch menu is offered during the weekend as well.

I wouldn't mind having a long wait to be seated. You can find an amazing burger with a very friendly price here in the middle of the city. I recommend to make a reservation especially if you come with a big group.

Best burger place in town, besides Jamy's! Probably the best fries I have eaten. Lunch specials are also easy on the wallet for a complete meal with homemade iced tea. Update: the burgers used to be great, but they changed the buns a few months ago and we really don't like them. Hopefully they will change to better buns again. Until then, 1 star deduction from our taste buds!

The burgers are amazing. Service is top tier especially on the most recent visit. I had a competition and wanted to celebrate my win with a cheat meal and they got me in during a crowded time. Love the atmosphere and the music choices as well.

I made the mistake of ordering an avocado hamburger from this place today. The quality of the ingredients was inferior to their restaurant near Hauptbahnhof. The meat was very salty and dry and it broke into small pieces. The thyme fries were OK but nothing to write home about. When it comes to this restaurant you really are in a pickle: either you choose the low quality and not so fresh ingredients of Oeder Weg OR you go to their location near Hauptbahnhof were you will be probably mistreated if you don’t look German. *Sigh*

So just had a Cheeseburger here with onion rings. Damn tasty! O-rings we’re on point and the sour cream sauce was also good. Maybe they have mustard and mayo but didn’t ask. Not sad about that. Burger was cooked medium which might be “normal.” Bun was in point. Beer was cold. Service was great. When I entered folks greeted me, which is cool. Though I did sit inside. Only change (and when it comes to burgers I speak my mind) is put all the veggie bits on top of the patty as by the time you get to the second d half the bun is a bit soggy. Just say’in. That said, visit this joint! It is tasty and folks are friendly! BTW, had good onions. 😉

Was visiting from NYC and had lunch here. It was so good I came back the next day for dinner. Their burgers were amazing and the market salad was great. Would highly recommend.

I had the Fette Bulle burger. The meat quality was very poor, egg was overcooked and in the fries with avocado and sour sauce was too much pepper. I would recommend this place only if you have a strong stomach for bad meat quality.

It’s a great place. Food is solid. However, burgers are well cooked - ordering it medium rare (red in center) is not an option which is unfortunate. Do not order a double burger like I did, they’re too damn big and you’ll leave the restaurant beyond bloated. Onion rings are nice and crunchy. Recommended.

A good burger place, although not one of the cheapest. The menu is not very extensive but contains interesting compositions. It's worth making a reservation as there can be a queue in the evenings. The downside is the lack of card payment, theoretically caused by a technical fault, although the appearance of the information on the door proves that it has been hanging for a few months.

Of all the burger restaurants I tested in Frankfurt, Der Fette Bulle is definitely my favourite. The service was friendly and fast, my burger was very tasty and especially the ketchup that comes with the fries is delicious. Unfortunately it was quite cold where I was sitting (close to the window) and in my opinion the paper menus that are thrown away at the end of the meal should from a sustainability perspective really be reconsidered. Nevertheless, a big recommendation from my side and I will be back soon for more burgers.

Der Fette Bulle is super cool! It is a great burger place downtown Frankfurt where you need to go at least once. The restaurant itself is quite minimal but it is very well decorated. The table are laid out by leaving enough space among them and the furniture are very much in style. The music in the restaurant is also worth of mention as it is well researched. The real reason why you should go to Fette Bulle though is the food. The burgers are extremely good and largely hand made from the buns to the sauces. The meat is German and it is sourced from the nearby area. Also the fries are very well prepared. The staff is extremely friendly and this gives quite an additional top spin to a very well delivered recipe. Absolutely recommended.

The American, the Vegan and watermelon lemonade were amazing. The Staff was accomodating and nice.

I had the most delicious lemonade there, I really would recommend. Further, they have very nice furniture there and were able to sit a group of 12 within like 5 min! The staff was really helpful and nice, but although the restaurant was accessible to wheelchairs, the toilets are downstairs.

Definitely a great place to have a burger in downtown. The beef patty was juicy and not overcooked, the sause had a balanced taste and the bun was fresh despite it's corona-times and the turnover is relatively low. The size of the burger was just right to feed the hunger but mit get you stuffed. Well done!
