I really enjoyed the time in this place . Different plants from all around the world in this garden. You need to change the room and you will be in another continent , different temperatures, humidity, aroma, looking and design . There are 4 stars because of the rude girl in entrance (at Kasse) .

Very beautifully laid out, green oasis in the middle of Frankfurt, surprisingly even without admission

Today we went to the botanical garden again. Simply brewed a pot of coffee at home and bought sandwiches from the bakery on the way, and breakfast in the botanical garden was ready. There are some chairs and tables by the pond, a perfect place to have breakfast. Always nice to sit there and walk. Pure relaxation!!

Beautiful botanical garden right next door to the Palmengarten. While here visit the bench named in honor of my late mom Antje Pällmann (1937-2019), which you will find in the Kiefernwald in the back to the left of the entrance. Free entrance but only open from March to October. The buildings at the entrance were designed by Ferdinand Kramer (1898-1985) but are unfortunately in a state of disrepair.

Beautiful garden that impresses with a breathtaking biotope diversity. Systematic or biogeographical orders can also be found alongside conservation cultures. The entrance is somewhat hidden at the end of Siesmayerstrasse, but this garden is definitely worth a visit. I particularly liked the various watercourses, which culminate in the pond. The local biotopes represent a valuable representation of the regional flora of the 20th century. A place of retreat and relaxation in the middle of the city for people, birds and insects!

The botanic garden in Frankfurt is a lovely place to visit during the summer months. The garden is home to a vast collection of plants and trees, with many colorful flowers in bloom during the warmer season. Visitors can stroll through the garden's well-manicured paths and admire the various flora on display. The garden also has a number of interesting exhibitions, such as displays of various ecosystems and plant habitats. It's an excellent opportunity for visitors to learn about plant life and appreciate the diversity of nature. While the garden is generally well-maintained, some areas may be in need of upkeep or restoration. However, this does not detract from the overall beauty and charm of the garden. The garden is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, which can result in it becoming quite crowded during peak periods. Visitors should be prepared for crowds and plan accordingly. Overall, the botanic garden in Frankfurt is a pleasant place to visit, especially during the summer months. While it may have some areas in need of attention, it's still a worthwhile destination for anyone interested in plants and nature.

Amazing! Diverse variety and maintenance is superb. Must visit if you are in frankfurt. It will amaze you more than the skyline of Frankfurt.

Such a well thought and well maintained garden in Frankfurt’s Westend district close to the university and Palmengarden. Many thanks to the employees for their hard work and care for the garden. Entrance is free of charge.

We were really impressed with the great selection of plants present. It is obvious a meticolous job has been done to gather and caretake all these botanical delights. Some parts of the park like the Rubus section is very well organized with every species being separated from the rest. Other sections like the East Asian section where everything grows wildy together. Beautifully executed and without a clear overall plan. We were shocked to find the poisionous plants being gathered together in a "poison sector" where highly dangerous plants were free to touch by children and adults alike, without much warning signs present or barriers to prevent touching or tasting. Some of them deadly poisionus and others delirical and hallucination-inducing. Everything also next to several bees nests where thousands of bees were roaming around the area. This feels a bit unsafe and careless, but exciting nonetheless. There is also a large meat-eating section where the plants are grown in an enclosement, however with some marking errors (some confusion between Dionaea vs. Nepenthes) We must again stress the amazing selection - this surpasses most botanical gardens we have ever seen before. A day or two can easily be spent here. We managed to go through around 20-25% of the park area in a half day.

A fabulous haven in the midst of fairly drab Frankfurt. In a very sweet neighbourhood. Great way to spend two hours.

Great outdoor botanical garden. I visited in fall when there was less vegetation than in spring and summer but it was still really nice. I wish it was more obvious which plant some of the signs are talking about, pictures would really help when they are clustered so close together. They have a California redwood which was really surprising and cool to see! If I have the chance I'll come back during spring or summer.

I had the pleasure of visiting Botanischer Garten Frankfurt, and it truly exceeded my expectations. It stands out as the best botanical garden I have ever visited. The explanations provided throughout the garden are fantastic, offering valuable insights into the diverse plant life. What I particularly appreciate is how the different areas seamlessly transport you to the ecosystems they are showcasing, creating a captivating and immersive experience. The attention to detail and the well-maintained surroundings make Palm Gardens a delightful place to explore and appreciate the beauty of nature. Highly recommended for anyone who has a love for botanical wonders and nature.

A beautiful garden in the middle of the city. I learn something new with every visit. Everything is lovingly cared for - and it's not nearly as crowded as in the Palmengarten! I always enjoy coming here.

Free. Very cozy garden with not too big space but many cute corners. 1-2 hour is enough.

I just discovered this park recently although i live near by 😄 and i keep coming back. It’s beautifully maintained, there are very diversified plants and trees, it’s not crowded and it is very calm. It feels like being in a different world.

The botanical garden is part of the Palmengarten but entry to the botanical garden is free. It's incredibly beautiful there. You feel like you're taking a walk in the forest. There you can relax and unwind and forget about time...

After a walk in Grüneburg Park, we continued in the botanical garden. At first it seemed pretty run down and dilapidated. It probably has something to do with the time of year. When we were halfway through, we discovered the more beautiful part of the garden. I captured this using photos.

Nice little garden, but poorly labelled and more just a sample than a true botanical garden

I enjoyed it because I like plants. It is a large garden, and the plants are well-labelled. There are a lot of frogs in a water garden!

At the back behind the building is a garden of herbs and fruit trees hidden behind and amazing in variety

Poorly maintained; probably underfunded...there is a collection of various types of mature, stunning trees representing excellent examples of their type. They desrve preservation regardless of the type of structure eventually built on the property.

What a wonderful place to visit! The entrance is for free and it was easy to find using Google maps. The garden is filled with wildlife, trees and flowers. The best thing was watching all the bees enjoying the flowers!
