Wir sind per Zufall auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen und waren begeistert! Wir haben einmal die Chicken-Curry Bowl sowie ein veg. Injera bestellt und kennen die afrikanische Küche bereits. Es war sehr lecker, gut gewürzt und schnell am Platz. Da einer von uns eine Paprikaallergie hat, wurde auch auf Extrawünsche eingegangen. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett. Am Ende gab es sogar noch einen traditionellen Kaffee als Geschenk. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall bald wieder! :)

I've never had Ethiopian food in my life and, as a vegan, I can tell those who haven't either that going without it will basically make for a wasted life. The food from cafe Azalye was absolutely delicious and I could eat myself to death with it.

Unfortunately, my experience here was awful. First of all, in my dish was WORM!!! May be because food was slightly uncooked. But they told me that it was from tree, however I was sitting under the awning. I was very disappointed and for sure my appetite was spoiled and I didn't accept their offer for new little dish. They just told me "sorry" and asked to pay full price, but I even didn't eat a half of this food, when I asked about discount, they did a discount in !!!ATTENTION!!! 1 Euro. Very nice.

One of the friendliest restaurants I know in the city of Frankfurt

The mango quinoa salad's dessing was very sweet. Was a bit too little quinoa relative to the salad (Spinach?) leaves. More even proportions or mango and avocado would be better. The café can bank on breaded Ethiopian pan cake and beef or chicken curries mixed with various bowl ingredients such as lentils, quinoa, hummus, etc. But they also offered Chilli Con Carne soup that sounded tasty.

We had a good mixed meat-vegetarian injera (a sour “pancake”, spongy, made of teff flour – typical of Ethiopia); comfortable seats, not noisy, nice natural light. The coffee was tasty and not diluted with extra milk as in coffee chains. Recommend.
