    Dauner Maare are 3 volcanic lakes in a row. Wonderful to refresh yourself after a hiking or bike tour. Note that you do not need to go to the official Freibäder but you can also just find a comfortable spot and swim as you wish. The numerous bike trails are really beautiful and some like the Maare-Mosel radweg is also easy for children.

    Nice vulcanic lake with several hiking trails of various lenghts and difficulties. From a 1h stroll ... up to 5-6h hike. Many scenic spots to enjoy and lots of nice restaurant and cafes at the lake.

    A very nice place for a walk or a swim. You can also rent a row or paddle boat. The nearby village has some excellent restaurants and cafes.

    Beautiful lake to do a hike, worth visiting. There are a few places in town to eat, have coffee and ice cream, great place to spend the morning or afternoon exercising and breathing fresh air

    Beautiful erie lake... the surface was like a mirror, the water clear as crystal. .. friendly people in the area. Once walking around the lake it felt as if tome had stood still. .

    Loved it! Coolers allowed, decent sized lake. Clean. Easy to find. It can get a little crowded though.

    The two volcanic lakes here are close to each other. The smaller is great for swimming and relaxing. The larger lake doesn't allow swimming or boats. There is also a small tower on top of the hill with great panoramo view called the drunkenturm.

    Quaint town and a beautiful area to take a stroll in the summer and winter. There is a couple large loops around the lake, one high, one low. Good for all ages, family walks and pet friendly.
