My highlight (and that of my children) is the annual excavator day, which takes place in June. Old cable and crawler excavators and many other construction equipment can be seen in action here. There are also plenty of toys available. The focus is of course on construction vehicles ;-) And of course the field railway takes visitors across the museum grounds on its 2 routes. The so-called forest tour is the more exciting tour. Work is currently underway on route extensions. The locomotive shed and the replica tunnels are also worth a look.
