This was the second time we went to the waterhorse, it was only marginally better than the first time. The menu is not very extensive but it is still beyond them. I ordered the bangers and mash expecting fine plump sausages as described but instead was brought out a few small breakfast sausages stuck in a dollop of mash. The burger my wife ordered was also not as described, missing it's bacon garnishment. Guinness was a little too warm and the pint was 20% foam.

We were a tad nervous to come here, based on online reviews — but we saw lots of people inside so thought we’d give it a shot! Super lovely welcome at the front as we walked in, and we were seated straight away (5.45pm on a Saturday night). We ordered drinks and food shortly thereafter and my friend said her Guinness was one of the best she’s ever had! Food was served quickly — it was hot and looked delicious! Unfortunately, the fries were a bit watery and definitely not “crispy”, but it was a large portion! — my chicken sandwich was full of super fresh ingredients. Our server, Makayla, was lovely and offered to split the check before we even asked.

My wife and I decided to stop here on Monday April 10, that is our anniversary, and it wasn't too busy but you know, Monday, we of course got Guinness. The food is good my only complaint is I ordered a lamb burger, they were out, then shepherd's pie, out, so I got a regular burger. We are definitely going back, the wait servers are great and told me when they get deliveries so I plan on getting my lamb burger 🍔!

A great Irish neighborhood bar that you should visit. The locals are friendly, the selection of beer is good and they have a great selection of high end Irish liquors. The food for the price it was great and the service was excellent. Bring your date or your family and you will have a fun time.

Absolutely excellent! We all shared our food (6 of us) and had everything from sheperd's pie, beef stew, chicken fingers, salad, etc. Service was great. The atmosphere was great. The decor is that of a traditional Irish pub and us just perfect. We are definitely returning for more!!

The best Irish pub this side of Dublin! Well drawn Guinness stout, real authentic beef stew and shepherds pie. Best bread budding for desert. The Irish music was straight out of County Claire. My wife and friends loved our experience, way above expectations. And the atmosphere! We will return tomorrow and bring more friends. No downside to Waterhorse in Franklin! The real deal!

The service was slow, the menu is too limited, and my biggest problem with this eatery is that the music was way too loud. The place was loud even when the musician took a break. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Our server was a male who was great, but a female delivered our appetizers, mine was a salad but there was no silverware on the table for me to eat with and it was at least 10 minutes before anyone came to ask how our food was and we had to ask for the silverware. Our male server who was the only staff member that I would give a great review, but he felt he had to keep apologizing to us for all the negatives which weren't even his fault. I would give good review of the decor because I really felt like I was in what I imagined as an authentic Irish pub.

Food was ok, waiter was great. Beer keg appetizer was great, although quite pricey for 5 tator tots and dip.
