Too
many
'campers'
are
hogging
the
weight
machines!
There's
no
courtesy
signs
as
I've
seen
in
bigger
cities,
"Please
rotate
off
weight
stations
so
that
others
can
participate".
I
recommend
"Let's
Stand
For
Courtesy"
to
urge
members
to
get
up
between
sets,
and
have
an
openness
to
people
waiting.
Letting
them
work
in.
All
too
often,
people
are
doing
3
sets
in
a
row
on
a
given
station,
with
5-10
minutes
of
scanning
their
Instagram
feed
in-between.
Not
acceptable
for
fairness,
c'mon
man.
The
club
has
only
1
of
each
machine,
so
the
math
of
time
of
availability
is
obvious.
It's
gotten
much
worse
after
COVID,
because
you've
shortened
the
closing
hours
_too
much_.
Before
closing
is
when
I
had
the
best
workouts
&
lost
30
lbs
at
this
YMCA,
just
like
I
had
in
Atlanta/Dallas!
Has
_no_
dedicated
circuit
of
machines
as
the
Bally's
of
Atlanta
&
Dallas
have
had,
where
a
person
is
guaranteed
to
get
through
"Whole
body
workout
in
20
minutes".
*
Been
family
members
in
Williamson
county
for
25
years.
*Bally's
uses
rotational
signs
&
vocal
prompts
on
a
dedicated
circuit
that
supersets
the
upper,
lower,
back,
tummy,
etc
in
the
USOC
recommendations
for
opposing
muscle
groups.
That
better
simulates
real
sports
participation!
Plus,
it's
better
cardio
vs
many
sets
of
single
muscle
groups.
*It
was
common
to
see
business
expansion
cards
in
the
businesses
near
these
Bally's
in
Atlanta/Dallas:
"Guaranteed
whole
body
workout
in
20
minutes",
those
clubs
grew
nicely.
And
the
dedicated
circuit
weight
training
helped
their
capacity
planning.
Like
we
all
say
"Keep
it
moving!"
