Too many 'campers' are hogging the weight machines! There's no courtesy signs as I've seen in bigger cities, "Please rotate off weight stations so that others can participate". I recommend "Let's Stand For Courtesy" to urge members to get up between sets, and have an openness to people waiting. Letting them work in. All too often, people are doing 3 sets in a row on a given station, with 5-10 minutes of scanning their Instagram feed in-between. Not acceptable for fairness, c'mon man. The club has only 1 of each machine, so the math of time of availability is obvious. It's gotten much worse after COVID, because you've shortened the closing hours _too much_. Before closing is when I had the best workouts & lost 30 lbs at this YMCA, just like I had in Atlanta/Dallas! Has _no_ dedicated circuit of machines as the Bally's of Atlanta & Dallas have had, where a person is guaranteed to get through "Whole body workout in 20 minutes". * Been family members in Williamson county for 25 years. *Bally's uses rotational signs & vocal prompts on a dedicated circuit that supersets the upper, lower, back, tummy, etc in the USOC recommendations for opposing muscle groups. That better simulates real sports participation! Plus, it's better cardio vs many sets of single muscle groups. *It was common to see business expansion cards in the businesses near these Bally's in Atlanta/Dallas: "Guaranteed whole body workout in 20 minutes", those clubs grew nicely. And the dedicated circuit weight training helped their capacity planning. Like we all say "Keep it moving!"

Great customer service. Super clean facility. Nice pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. Great workout equipment. Plenty of parking. Very nice place to take my family.

My kids had a great experience with their swim lesson and the facilities are nice. However the YMCA registration process for classes is really frustrating. Swim classes are always either waitlisted or not open for registration yet. But no info on when registration opens on the site. After their last swim lesson, we asked the front desk when to register for the next round and three different people didn’t know. All they knew was next round of lessons begins 12/2. I checked that same day and registration wasn’t open. Checked today and it’s now waitlisted. I got one kid in as she’s progressed to the next level. And the second kid is on a waitlist. It’s a really weird and frustrating system that really doesn’t allow for continuation of instruction. I’d much rather pay a month fee to YMCA for ongoing swim lessons without interruption vs playing check the registration page every day.

Friendly and welcoming place! Opportunity to get the excercise in the pool with others who want to feel better and experience a better quality of life, that's true for me at my age, with chronic pain. The instructor is helpful and allows me to go at my own pace! Overall uplifting environment for body and soul! I am so happy I joined the Y recently! In the few times I've been I always leave encouraged and have a mind to keep on going! It gives me hope. Doing this together as a group is very motivating for me! Being with others with the same goals inspires me to keep coming back!

Awesome place. Better than any Gym around. Aquatics are tip top for exercise & all around conditioning of the joints & flexibility of the body. Helps with all kinds of bone problems as well. No gym comes even close to what the YMCA offers.
