I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Chocolate Cafe in Yarra Valley, and I must say, it was an absolute delight for all my senses. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with the heavenly aroma of freshly made chocolates and the warm, inviting atmosphere. The cafe itself is beautifully decorated, with cozy seating areas and large windows that offer stunning views of the surrounding Yarra Valley. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft, which added to the overall experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the chocolates! The selection at the Chocolate Cafe is truly impressive. From classic flavors like dark chocolate and milk chocolate to more adventurous combinations there is something to satisfy every chocolate lover's cravings. I couldn't resist trying a few different flavors, and each one was a masterpiece in itself. The chocolates were beautifully crafted, with a perfect balance of sweetness and richness. The textures varied from smooth and velvety to crunchy and nutty, making every bite a delightful surprise. In addition to the chocolates, the cafe also offers a range of other treats, including decadent hot chocolate, creamy gelato, and freshly brewed coffee, Lunch, and breakfast as well. I highly recommend trying their signature hot chocolate - it's like a warm hug in a cup. The Chocolate Cafe also offers workshops and tastings, where you can learn more about the art of chocolate-making and even try your hand at creating your own sweet creations. It's a fantastic opportunity to deepen your appreciation for chocolate and have some fun in the process. Overall, my experience at the Chocolate Cafe in Yarra Valley was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of delicious chocolates, friendly service, and picturesque surroundings made it a truly memorable visit. Whether you're a chocolate connoisseur or simply have a sweet tooth, this cafe is a must-visit destination. Trust me, you won't be disappointed 💯

I just couldn’t stress how generous the staffs were. There one scoop of ice cream is twice as big as the other places. I have to say I was prepared and was too greedy to ordered 2 scoops on a waffle cone, which overkilled me. The staff in the cafe was super friendly and welcoming. I liked his bubbly personality.

I've also visited their Great Ocean Road shop, loved it there also. Try their Matcha White Chocolate, so so good. I've had their Beef Burger with Chips with the Dark Chocolate Junior Hot Chocolate in their Yarra Valley store. Loved them both, the hot chocolate is actual melted chocolate in a cup and you mix it with hot milk yourself and the cup is very cute! The atmosphere is great also with outdoor sittings.

We have visited both the great Ocean road one and the Yarra Valley one. The Yarra Valley one has more wide open scenery which is its absolute highlight. It could be more family friendly by having some tasteful playground installed for children. There is a petting and feeding farm at the bottom of the valley with a small number of sheep goats and alpacas. Food is decent, on the more expensive side. Anything sweets or deserts related is excellent and to be honest the main reasons you'd want to eat at the Cafe restaurant. The chocolate store is obviously the main draw for sweet tooth people. Very good chocolates and a huge range. Good day out if you're in the area.

This review is of the lunch and not the chocolate. For such a busy operation, it is very well-kept; beautiful grounds, clean spaces, fast service and a great day out with the family. The food was good with the Moroccan salad being the stand out, followed by the fish and chips and finally the burger which was the least tasty meal.

Chocolate lover's paradise. You will need more than a shopping basket here. So much to choose from. Flavours just melt in your mouth. My caramel hot chocolate...wow! Service with a big happy smile. Note: We arrived just around 9:30am during a November Friday. Not busy, which suited us.

The range of chocolate in the store is impressive. Got to try the dark chocolate gelato. So rich but it is quite sweet for me and the price is very reasonable. 1 big scoop for $5! That’s a steal! Good park outside and you can also see a bit of the factory inside. Love it!

Recommend stopping by this chocolate and ice creamery in the Yarra Valley. Wide range of chocolate for purchase, though personally the taste of the dark and milk chocolate was not great. But there was a wide choice of different chocolate flavour combinations. It's interesting to see how the chocolate was made on site through viewing glass. The ice cream section was very popular and there was a good selection of flavours to choose from. Delicious ice cream to be enjoyed with stunning surroundings.

Pretty famous chocolate retail to serve your various kinds of chocolates with different spics and taste. You can get lots of free chocolates in the entrance gate. Just try them all and see which one you like. My kids and I are served to have the chocolate taste trial in a specific room. The staff is really professional with hospitality to introduce all kinds of chocolates to everyone. Kids really love them even though some are really sweet. You can see how the chocolates are made since there is a small kitchen inside. Moreover, it is the first time for us to see the cocoa tree. It is not really tall but I can tell how lively it is in this circumstance. You can get lots of useful information about the chocolates in the world too. Lots of kids enjoy their time with parents around this area. You can also enjoy the big volume ice cream before heading to next destination. Good place to spend 1 to 2 hours here. Have fun.

As usual when you go out with your kids, you plan to take photos and when food arrives they jumpy right into it. This is my third visit to the place and it is as usual pleasant all in all. The staff super friendly and professional. The manager was quick to respond and resolve an issue with our order (digital ordering). We order the chicken parmigiana (without ham) and the portion is sizable and the taste was really good. The wagyu beef burger was also delicious but of course a trip to chocolaterie must be for the amazing deserts. We had brownies, chocolate waffle and scones. I fell in love with the scone, crunchy from the outside and soft from the inside. The brownie is just perfect. This trip is also amazing for the scenery. See photos. Highly recommended for families with kids. Plenty of space to run and have fun.

Family friendly venue. Kids love going here. Specially to watch the chocolate being made. Ice cream and chocolate to boot. I’m from Venezuela and pleasantly surprised to see they had this to represent my country. I have been various times and never get sick of this place. 🔥🔥🔥

Great view from the cafe. Pleasantly surprised as food tasted good. Margheritta pizza was one of the best we've had in a while. Went there on a rainy day and it was overcrowded at the entrance. Kids loved getting free chocolate samples.

Went here on a busy Friday lunch time. There was a bit of waiting time but it’s all worth it! The serving was enormous and perfect for sharing. Loved everything we ordered will definitely come back!

Had a fantastic experience at Yarra Valley Chocolaterie recently! The breakfast was top-notch, set against a breathtaking scenic backdrop that just made my day. And oh, the chocolate and ice cream were absolutely divine – a real treat for anyone with a sweet tooth. What stood out most, though, was the friendly staff. They were welcoming and made the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend checking this place out for a delightful experience!

Very nice place to get the local produce for chocolates with are freshly made on site. Mind boggling variety of chocolates and related snacks. The restaurant also serves very delicious milkshakes and one of the best chips around! Can be a tad touristy in feel and the pricing is also a little high, but good general service and atmosphere for the place.

We went for the little one to have a chocolate workshop that they organized. They gave a nice colour apron and hat to wear (pink, blue and green) and had a variety of meals in thec menu. Lot of different chocolates to buy and taste. You need to ask the staff to taste any chocolate you wish first. Really enjoyed the visit.

Even during the cold winter days, I would not say no to an ice cream here. That creamy first bite was chocolate heaven! Having a great ice cream with an amazing view is one of the highlights of my trip here in Melbourne. If you love chocolate, they have more than just ice cream. There is a wide variety of chocolates to choose from, bars, candys, even some chocolate fragrant items like soap and lotion. This place is so worth the visit.

This is an excellent family-friendly destination, offering a delightful combination of delicious food, spacious outdoor areas, and, most notably, a wide array of delectable chocolates. Visitors have the opportunity to witness the fascinating chocolate-making process and choose from a variety of chocolate treats. The café serves exceptional pizzas, but the real highlight remains the delectable chocolate offerings. I recommend bringing along some games to enhance your enjoyment at the park.

This place is a paradise for chocolates, ice cream and everything sweet. There is so much to choose from, and there is even chocolate from around the world. There is even chocolate lip balm, chocolate soap and chocolate body lotion. And if you need to sit down, relax and have a good snack, there is a big Cafe which serves ice cream, hot chocolate, almond croissonts, cakes, etc. And the beautiful views from the Cafe to the Yarra Ranges is breathtaking. Definitely worth making a stop after a winery tour or a visit to the nearby TarraWarra Museum of Art

Good Food and warm drinks. Great Icecream. Amazing Rocky Road!!!! Fantastic ambiance. Customer service is ok depending on who serves you. Some super nice staff others busy and on the go. Can improve a bit. The pink kangaroos are a hit!!! That's the first thing you notice and you immediately become curious to find out what this place is all about!!!

Excellent spot for families with kids. Nice large window to see the chocolate factory line. Cafe and restaurant is spacious and lively. Take away chocolate assortment is also available. Best time to visit is in the morning before 11 am. Otherwise risk the place getting crowded.
