Couldn't be happier. I went to see the MVZ AnthroNUK Berlin to seek advice on the option of thermal ablation to treat my thyroid nodules. My experience so far has been extraordinary. Both doctors and the entire staff are very friendly and competent. After detailed examinations, we discussed all the options and all my queries were answered thoroughly and patiently. I underwent treatment end of November 2020. Everything went fine, and - again - I really felt taken care of by my doctors and everyone at the hospital. The procedure itself was a funny experience. Although I felt a little pressure in my throat, it wasn't painful at all and didn't take long. I left the hospital the next day. It's been a bit more than two months, but I think I can already feel a difference. I can honestly recommend med. Dr. Richter, Dr. Celebi-Hoffmann and their team. Very happy to have found them.

I am a retired physician and scientist from Hawaii. When I was diagnosed with thyroid Nodules, my doctors recommended a thyroidectomy which means a removal of the thyroid. Such a surgery entails many major risks! Besides the usual risks of a major surgery like bleeding, infection and other complications, in this particular surgery there are other risks of injury. First to the so-called Recurrent Laryngeal Nerve which controls our voice. Secondly, and what concerned me personally even more was the risk of injuring to another structure near the thyroid which is called the parathyroid. That can cause getting what is called Hypoparathyroidism. A very severe complication! After further research I realized that the best way to treat nodules is RFA (Radiofrequency ablation). RFA entails nothing of the above mentioned risks! All the research papers about treating  the thyroid with RFA I researched demonstrated above 99% success! It takes however sometimes 12 month for the nodules to shrink. I felt the difference after several days. Further research with help of many other physician friends brought me to the top experts in this area: Dr Celebi-Hoffmann and Dr Paul Richter. Dr Richter is also a physicist, which is very helpful in using the RFA. As a scientist myself I can attest to that. I visited their clinic MVZ AnthroNUK in Berlin Germany and went myself through the RFA with all the pretests involved. It was an amazing and for me an interesting experience. Dr Celebi-Hoffmann and Dr Paul Richter are extremely professional. Also very friendly and warm. They explained every step in detail. The RFA itself was very easy and straightforward. Around 45 minutes. I also must mention that the whole stuff of the clinic was very friendly and helpful and all spoke English. To think that in the USA more than 200,000 (two hundred thousand!) people must go through an unnecessary surgery and lose a healthy thyroid because of nodules should not be acceptable! I deeply recommend the MVZ AnthroNUK Clinic!!!

Tolle Praxis, sehr nettes und kompetentes Team. Nachdem die Feinnadelpunktion meines Schilddrüsenknotens bei einem anderen Arzt nicht durchgeführt werden konnte und mir dort stattdessen direkt zur OP geraten wurde, habe ich super kurzfristig noch einen Termin bei Dr. Richter bekommen. Er hat mir die Angst genommen und die Feinnadelpunktion innerhalb von wenigen Minuten, nahezu schmerzfrei, durchgeführt. Vielen Dank noch einmal für die schnelle Hilfe! :) Ich bin wirklich froh, mir eine Zweitmeinung eingeholt zu haben und kann diese Praxis dafür absolut empfehlen!

Auf Empfehlung meldete ich mich vorab bei Dr. Richter per E-Mail, übersandte alle mir vorliegenden Unterlagen direkt mit. Womit ich nicht rechnete, dass er sich selbst zeitnah bei mir telefonisch meldete und die Radiofrequenzablation erklärte und mir schon am Telefon alle Sorgen darüber nehmen konnte. Wie sich hinterher herausgestellt hat, war es die richtige Entscheidung. Danke dafür! In der Praxis für den ambulanten Eingriff angekommen, angemeldet, kam er schon durch den Gang und teilte mir mit, dass wir gleich anfangen können. Die Arzthelferin nahm mich mit, erklärte mir nochmals alles in aller Ruhe und bereitete mich auf den Eingriff vor. Dr. Richter hat selbst nochmals davor jeden Schritt erläutert und auch währenddessen sich immer erkundigt, ob ich Schmerzen oder dergleichen hätte. Nach dem Eingriff bereitete die Arzthelferin den Ruheraum vor, brachte mir Kühlpads und ich konnte mich danach eine Stunde ausruhen. Eine kurze Nachkontrolle und ich konnte die Praxis wieder verlassen. Ich schreibe den Text bewusst etwas länger, weil ich selbst vor dem Thema Radiofrequenzablation zu viel gegoogelt habe. Von A-Z fühlte ich mich beim gesamten Team TOP aufgehoben, mir wurde alles Schritt-für-Schritt erklärt, einzeln, nochmals unmittelbar davor, währenddessen, danach. Wenn Sie dies lesen und auch überlegen da hin zu fahren, ich hab die 300km für diese Erfahrung gerne in Kauf genommen, auch wenn ich alles andere als erpicht auf Operationen bin.

The thyroid nodule that I have lived with for over five years is nearly gone. No more having to clear my throat all the time due to irritation, no more wearing turtle necks all the time to hide the very visible nodule on my neck. And best of all: it didn’t require surgery to remove parts or all of the thyroid, which had been recommended by other endocrinologist, and which would have required taking medicine for the rest of my life. The 45-minute long procedure with the RFA - where I could talk and continuously test my vocal chords (as a hobby singer obviously a concern of mine) - was painless and I could go home the same day. The doctors and staff were also incredibly professional, friendly and supportive throughout the entire process from the first rounds of testing, evaluating, consulting, all the way to the actual procedure and all the follow ups. I felt like I was in safe hands from the start, where all my questions, worries and concerns were taken seriously. This clinic is innovative and helps patients from all over the world, like myself (living in Sweden)!

The Dr. med. Dipl.-Phys. Johannes-Paul Richter was amazing, took time to explain everything and was very competent. I was there in August and I recommend this doctor to everyone. The rest of the team was very helpful too.

War zum ersten Mal dort, habe relativ schnell über Doctolib einen Termin bekommen. Innerhalb von einer Viertelstunde war ich auch schon fertig. Der Arzt war fix, aber gründlich, die Blutentnahme im Labor danach ging auch schnell. Hocheffizientes Arbeiten ohne viel Schnickschnack, hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Ich denke, ich muss nicht wiederkommen, da mit meiner Schilddrüse alles in Ordnung zu sein scheint, aber wenn ich müsste, dann auf jeden Fall in diese Praxis.

Meine Erfahrungen in dieser Praxis hinsichtlich Diagnose, Beratung und Behandlung sind seit mehreren Jahren durchweg positiv. Das Ärzte- und Praxisteam ist freundlich und zuvorkommend und ich würde die Praxis jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Ich war dort zu einer Myokardszintigraphie. Den Termin habe ich über Doctolib gebucht und hatte innerhalb einer Woche einen Termin. Es wäre sogar frühere Termine(!) möglich gewesen. Die Untersuchung lief zügig und unkompliziert ab und das Personal ist super nett. Auch der zweite Termin war sehr angenehm. Insgesamt echt empfehlenswert!
