Wasn't expecting this type of view in Essen. Really nice place for city break

This is one of the best places in Essen The view is incredible It's a very calm place It's a little bit in the woods A perfect place for the time when you need to be alone

Good place for hiking... Don't go alone and move in day light for safety

The Baldeneysee lake is very beautiful. A suitable place to see this Panorama. You are hiking through the forest, there are trails where you can go and you can also reach this point of view. I really liked seeing this super landscape. There are also benches where you can breathe fresh air and also trash cans. I recommend 100%. I liked it and will come back to this viewpoint soon.

Serene, calm and composed

Its a nice place to spend some quality time and spend a nice afternoon. You can get really nice view of the Baldeneysee. I would go again. Recommend highly. From that place u can go down near the shore,but you have to walk nearly 25 minutes down the cliff to reach there.

Tried getting there, google maps takes you to a private entrance..

Nice walk in the forest and an hidden lookoutpoint

Helaas stonden de bankjes in de volle zon toen ik er was, dus niet lang kunnen genieten van het uitzicht. Weinig andere wandelaars, lag misschien aan de hitte, maar het grootste deel van het pad had veel schaduw door de bomen. Niet ver lopen van de grote weg/openbaar vervoer.
