I’m finding it hard to believe this place is less than 5 stars on Google reviews! I’m a very picky guy, and this place is far less expensive than it should be and tastes too good! The staff is amazing. The place is very clean. I can’t say anything bad, all I can say to the owners, please franchise this place! I can help reach out!

After our usual Chinese food place closed we were trying to find a new place to get Chinese food at. This is the one. So far we ate it twice. First time ordered take out and second time we actually ate inside. Both times the food was delicious. Our go to items are Pork Lo Mein and General Tso's Chicken. The people who work here are very nice, the inside of the restaurant is clean and inviting. We had to put 2 tables together to make all 4 of us sit which was not a problem. The bathroom was clean. We will eat here again!

Tried for first time based on positive reviews which now we think you can't go off. It was really bad to the point we didnt eat it. I had combo rice with beef chicken and shrimp. I asked for white rice but got brown, there was about two strips of beef maybe 5 chicken and 3 shrimp. All of which tasted boiled and then reheated in pan with soggy peas and carrots. I ordered bags of crunchy noodles which were stale. The other dish was general tsos chicken and again boiled tendon strips flash fried with no veggies. All thrown away. Save your money.

It is the only place I go to or trust. Food is always on point. Sometimes the chicken can be a little dry but then you are just working on toning your jaw muscles. You'll be fine. But really, you know a good Asian restaurant by its egg rolls and their egg rolls are slammin. Mid age lady at the cash register. She's the best and always has a smile. Makes you happy spending 50$ Food is always hot and delicious. Restaurant is nice and clean. 😅

The best Chinese food place in the whole Winchester. Speaking as some who has a lifetime experience of eating Chinese food, their food quality is on point. It’s a good balance between authentic Chinese taste and American flavors. Nothing is too greasy that it doesn’t quite feel like a fast food place at all. Everything is reasonably priced and they make their orders FAST. I would recommend their chef’s specials and their dumplings. Very delicious. And do get the large portion because the you will have leftovers enough for another full meal.

I got the Szechuan shrimp lunch special with hot and sour soup. The shrimp are HUGE and cooked perfectly, juicy and delicious. It’s rare to find excellent hot and sour soup, but I don’t think there are any modifications I’d make. The order was quick and affordable, and the store is very clean and nice. Thanks!

My new favorite Chinese place around town (I dont go to downtown area). They also have some Thai dishes and miso soup.The coconut chicken was the best I have had (though I haven't had it a lot) & instead of rice, for $2.50 more I can get chicken lo mein as a side. Also had the Kung pao, had lots of chicken, both did & was a good deal for portion size, especially at today's prices. I got the larger dinner portions not the combos and that way have plenty for another meal or two later. They always add in a discount for orders over $35 & I think $20 or $25 without me having to ask or give coupon (just know that may not always be the case but currently it also says that on website when you order online). They are always very nice there too & food is hot when I get home even though I am late picking it up.

This place has very good food, ordered the kung pao chicken, sesame chicken, and sweet and sour chicken combination platters. All combination platters come with choice of fried or white rice and an egg roll. Kung pao chicken was very good, sauce was not heavy and had a very good level of spice. Ingredients seemed fresh and were flavorful, I did pick up and it was ready in about 15 minutes.

Here's what you need to know: 1.) First time there, food was great. Second time there, food wasn't really great. Their chow mein was pretty disgusting...tasted like microwaved lettuce. Yuk 😬 2.) Clean restaurant & parking lot 3.) Very friendly staff 4.) Great location 5.) Many menu choices

parking usually not a problem. their meals are tasty but not gourmet. some don't taste authentic, like the drunken noodles or pad thai, but still good. staff are always hard working and are in full view of customers. there's usually at least a 10 min wait so best to call beforehand. this place is mostly carry-out but there are few seats for dine in

Cheng’s has got to be one of my favorite takeout places in this entire city. I’ve been going here since I graduated high school. I order the same thing every single time and I am going to continue being a loyal customer for as long as this restaurant exists. Food is always prepared promptly on time and the manager is always so kind and caring. I highly recommend Cheng’s!

My daughter and I stopped here for lunch prior to getting Starbucks. The food was incredible. Hot fresh and absolutely delicious. This was our first time here. The service was great staff was friendly. And they made you feel like family. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely gorgeous little restaurant, spotlessly clean, just about the friendliest, most patient staff I've ever encountered. The food was scrumptious.

This was our first time eating at this restaurant. We were looking for a Chinese restaurant that could accommodate vegetarians, as well as meat eaters, and a Google search brought up Cheng's. Cheng's is a clean and inviting Chinese restaurant with a good-sized menu. It would be great for take out, and also has a few small tables for dining in. The restaurant itself has the appearance of Chinese fast food, but the food quality is better than regular fast food Chinese. It appears to be all made to order rather than pre-made dishes sitting in chafing dishes, like at Panda. The vegetables in our meals tasted and looked fresh and crisp, not frozen. The ingredients seemed to be of good quality. The food was not overly greasy either. There are several vegetarian options available, in addition to meat options. The Kung Pao Tofu was incredibly delicious, and the fried tofu in it was cooked to perfection! The lunch specials are reasonably priced, and the customer service was extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning to try more from their menu!

Don’t really want to put this out on this venue however when I called the person who answered the phone was hard to talk with. Language was an issue. I could not understand very well. So they need to know. I have purchased food and been a patron for a long time. Best food around. I travel from gerrardstown to get the food. We eat in and do carry out. On Nov 25 I went in and placed an order. Food was prepared in a super busy environment. The gentleman that was working the orders was angry and barking at the two ladies. He thru receipts on the floor. Yelled at the cashier and the other woman. Everyone was working very hard. I picked up my order and went home. When we opened the food we were disappointed. No sauce on a mushy general tos. Egg rolls mushy inside. Not edible. My husband ate a few pieces of sweet and sour. His regular choice. He told me something was bad with it. He refused it. We trashed all of the food immediately. Later that night my husband was sick. Violently sick. I wasn’t feeling great. And our dog who had a few pieces got sick and vomited. Can’t say it was the food for sure however both of us and the dog. Seems It must have been.

This is the BEST Asian takeout restaurant in the entire area. My girlfriend and I come here at least once every week or so and the woman who runs this place is absolutely amazing. She has the highest quality service and is extremely friendly every time. The food is absolutely top tier when it comes to freshness and flavor. My go to is general TSO chicken and it's incredible. The fried rice is some of the best I've ever had, and same goes for the egg rolls. The food is very high quality and the price point is almost unreal for how good it is! We are treated extremely well every time we come, and the atmosphere is very nice and clean. Definitely a must try for anyone who hasn't been here!

We have been ordering from Mr. Cheng’s for three years now. I don’t know if they are under new management or what, but we had a horrible experience tonight. They changed their online ordering system so I did not have our usual orders saved, so to save time and frustration I called them directly to order. When we got home, we noticed our usual order of chow mei fun was prepared completely plain. Normally, it has some sort of yellow spice on it. we called to ask them to fix this, and I got put through the ringer by two different employees, telling me it was all my fault for ordering the wrong thing. Apparently, there are two different kinds of the dish that I was not aware of. They agreed finally to fix the order for which we had to drive all the way back to pick it up. When we arrived, they unceremoniously took the original food item that we brought back, took it back to the kitchen, tossed it in some spice, and handed it back to us. I cannot imagine that this is allowed by food safety laws, and it also felt like a very rude slight to not provide a fresh meal as they indicated they would do. Pretty disappointing, I hope you guys do better in the future.

This place is surprisingly delicious! I usually don't eat Chinese food, but this place makes me want to return! Quick service, very delicious food, and friendly staff. There are a lot of options to choose if you are hungry! I was full and content after leaving. This place may not be the most authentic or gourmet of places, but it does serve food food. I highly recommend this restaurant!
