The food is delicious 🤤; my son wanted to try it and he had a wonderful experience. The wings were on point, moist and super duper yummy and the yams 🍠 yay 😁 we were super happy with the yams. Mac & Cheese, very good, wow it was an explosion in his mouth he said. Definitely we will go back; we hope the next time the have the FuFu.

Went and ordered a beef patty with coco bread, and a chicken curry with roti. Although the beef patty and bread was alright, the first piece of chicken I pulled open from the curry was EXTREMELY undercooked. Very disappointing.

Let me say this when I saw the pictures, it was of the take oit location, and that it what I was expecting, shocker that is the other location "they have 2" but the restaurant is really nice and upscale. Now on with the food, it was wonderful. Even the pictures show how fresh the salad was and the chicken and rice was great as well. I will be going back amd will be saving room for dessert because the rum cake sounds delicious.

Even though we arrived within the last hour, they had everything except Roti. Its official! Their Jerk spices are just rite. The Coconut shrimp were exceptional. Also, they wrapped the dinners w/saran wrap; kept food warm & no spills. Worth the ride.

The food was pretty decent. I got the roti and Curry chicken (nothing like NY Jamaican food tho) but it's doable. I like this location better than the other one. I have such a horrible experience there (I won't disclose, tho). The guy with the dreads behind the counter was very hospitable. Place is a bit small but I'm sure most people do take out anyway.

His is a hidden GEM!! A real authentic taste of Jamaican cuisine... The food is ALL FRESH, the delicious smell of curry n fresh Coco bread! Yum! The platters weighed like 2lbs the portions are generous and if you haven't been, you should go just for the char grilled PERFECT Jerk chicken... I legit CRAVE IT!

Yesterday me and man visited Jerk and Jive Resturaunt / Bar . The space is great. The server was great. The bartender and the drinks were excellent. I will rate the food we ordered. The spinach and crab dip (2), Calamari was dry (2), Maryland wings (2), Curry Goat dinner (2), Crab Cake dinner (1), 4 drinks with 2 shots on the side (5), Mac and cheese (3), greens (4), rice and beans (3). All the food lacked seasoning and flavor except for the greens. My crab cakes were flat like a flat salmon cake. This was extremely disappointing, because Maryland is known for it's crabs and crab cakes. None of our food looked like the picture. I grew up eating good Jamaican food up and down Georgia Ave in DC in the late 80's and 90's at clubs like; The Turn Tables, T &T and Tobago, The bakery that sold the best chicken only on Sunday. Not to mention the the Jamaican house parties and the food. People will travel for great food, great drinks, great servers, great ambiance, great band = excellent experience. Jerk and Jive has 4 greats, but the food is lacking. Either spend money on two great chefs or grab some family that can truly cook. People will travel for a great experience. My man is kind and does not like anything spoiling our date nights ( not even bad food ). If I was at Jerk and Jive by myself I would have sent everything back except for the drinks, greens and maybe the mac and cheese. Jerk and Jive can do better. Hire good cooks !

10/10 would recommend the jerk chicken and curry goat. The collards was so flavorful. The jerk seasoning has so many layers and my chicken was coated. I am so happy I came here, will be back.
