There is a funky smell specifically in the room, coming from the bathroom. Couldn't pinpoint the smell but wasnt good. I'm personally not a fan of pets in hotels, but that is their choice. The bed was comfortable, and place seemed clean enough. We faced Main Street which is really loud, so I brought eat plugs. The breakfast was lacking, eggs were hot but no flavor, biscuits were dense, with no flavor, sausages were decent, luckily the waffle was good. Fruit was only apples. The staff were really nice. Was expensive for one night at a 3 star hotel.

Nice clean comfortable rooms. Hotel seemed new and had excellent amenities. Breakfast had numerous options and ample seating. Choices included eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, waffles, breads, yogurt, pastries, cereal, juice and coffee. Staff was outstanding. Walmart is across the street. Recommend.

Everything was good as far as location, cleanliness, and staff friendliness. The breakfast was blah and they ran out of everything including coffee. We went hiking at Enchanted Rock and my hotel featured a hot tub with the pool but I had to go outside of the property to hopefully relax after a long day of hiking and walking the shop’s downtown, but the hot tub was green slime and drained & the pool was so dirty. I was so disappointed. It was part of our anniversary trip, but ended up not being so relaxing.

Our room literally smelled like fish. The AC and the water seemed to be the culprit. It was a decent room otherwise. The front desk employee was nice. Location isn't great but Walmart is within walking distance.

I’m so happy I chose to stay here the other day. My room was perfect! The bed was the best and so were the pillows. I immediately fell asleep and didn’t want to get up the following morning. I was also pleasantly surprised by all the varieties of choices for breakfast. The atomosphere is clean and the ppl were pleasant and nice. I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel. You won’t be sorry.

Hotel clean overall. But bathroom door in our room did not appear to have been cleaned for a long time. Had splashes of some yellow liquid on it, not sure what it was. (ick) Also pool trashcan had no lid and was nearly overflowing. For the price I'd say not a good value. We paid much less for the beautiful Westin luxury hotel on the riverfront (Riverwalk) in San Antonio.

My room was huge. Breakfast was good. I love that they use Dove products. And they had pen and paper- such a welcome escape for those of us who need to take a note and don’t want to use our electronic devices. My only complaint is staff who don’t even attempt to help guests because (the employee) doesn’t speak English.

I have stayed at this hotel at various points over the last 2 years and always had a great stay but it is today that I feel compelled to write a review. The reception help Nick was outstanding! Friendly personable and went above and beyond to help, places that hire people like this say a lot to me and I hope this review gets seen by the right people to pass on our thanks to Nick :)

I have here many times,but this year was my last the Manger on July 15 was very unprofessional and could not handle customers very well. Her side kick bully partner was just as bad. We got thrown out of hotel for questioning pool closing and they went crazy on us. Called police and was giving warning for criminal trespass. Kinda of bizarre experience. Do not recommend this place anymore. I notice the Manger just replied. Yes we make it point to get thrown out of hotels because pool is closed. It's just our thing. Her staff was never in jeopardy. What A joke. Wish I could reply directly to the hotel,but she won't let me know who owns hotel. We will get to the bottom of it.
