When we bought our tickets for the Museum of the Pacific War, it came with this gallery, the George H. W. Bush Gallery, and the Pacific Combat Zone, as well as the Memorial Courtyard and Japanese Garden of Peace. I did a separate review of the Museum. We absolutely loved the plaza and the gardens. They were beautiful. Everything is very well done. You can easily spend a whole day here if you love history. I can’t recommend this whole experience enough. Please take the time to work it in your schedule!

Wonderful experience. The museum chronicles the war in the Pacific from its origins to the surrender. The exhibits are wonderful and I have never seen a museum like it. Worth a 4 drive

Stopped by here on a whim while waiting at a red light. I’m glad we did!! Tons of stuff to see here including a door from USS Arizona, and parts of Kamikaze aircraft etc. They recommend about two hours to do the whole museum. Go check it out if you can!!

Very well put together museum with lots of history and historical artifacts to look at. Went there specifically to see a Japanese flag my father captured while retaking the Falkland Islands back that was signed by the platoon, but it wasn't on display. Was told to call ahead next time for a meeting with the curator and see the flag. At any rate, it's a very nice museum with lots to look at. A very extensive gift shop, and lots to see outside. Definitely a "must see" when you go to Fredericksburg TX.

One of the top 10 museums I have been to like this, top notch exhibits and displays. I needed way more time to spend there than I had. Hope to go back and plan better so I can spend the day to absorb everything. Very rich in history

2023.02.15 This was sadly unbelievable how I was taken back in time for most wars all over the world; not just the USA's. I could not have learned all these facts in history class, high school, or college. Every kid needs to see these videos! This museum was wonderfully put together and organized. I enjoyed the interaction the museum offered. The recorded legacy of Admiral Nimitz reminded me of the "greatest generation ever known." What a playbook! Whom do we see in 2023 that follows those morals and ethics? This review also includes the Bush museum. I saw a little Japanese 2 man mini-sub there. When and where will we see that??

Great place to visit while at Fredericksburg highly recommend a smaller exibit but it shows the complete history of Chester Nimitz. I really enjoyed the interactive portions of the exibit as well as videos they had playing.

Awesome! We can't wait to go back and spend more time with history. Some mentioning of the USS Essex, an aircraft carrier my Dad was on. I would like to see the various ships and the battles they were involved in listed and dates of the encounters...unless, I missed it!! All in all a great and reverant memorial to the Greatest Generation. Cudoes to Admiral Nimitz for insisting that the museum was for the Pacific theater events. Truly, a sign of a humble man for paying tribute to the men under him during a time of world chaos. God bless him!!
