😠 The people at Kaiser Permanente are unprofessional and do not care about their patients. Things have really changed since my family and I joined KP several years ago, they used to have good, professional, and caring staff. All they have now is unprofessional people who are racist, and act as if they... People often mention care, Kaiser, Fredericksburg, time, appointment, years, urgent, great, experience, staff,

The people at Kaiser Permanente are unprofessional and do not care about their patients. Things have really changed since my family and I joined KP several years ago, they used to have good, professional, and caring staff. All they have now is unprofessional people who are racist, and act as if they’re always in a rush and don’t give you time to ask questions. If you do ask questions, then they make you feel like you’re annoying. When it’s open enrollment again, I won’t be renewing with KP, I recommend you also don’t.

My mother went to this facility today and was treated very unprofessionally and poorly by the lab staff. English is not her first language and when she asked for an interpreter, they did not have one and refused to get one on the phone for her. Additionally, they mocked and laughed at her when she tried to explain herself in English. Disappointing to see this kind of behavior from people who are supposed to be professionals. If you’re a foreigner and English is not your first language, I recommend you don’t come to this facility and go with Mary Washington instead. They’ll treat you professionally and with care, not like Kaiser Permanente.

I have been with Kaiser since 1996. I have been able to access all specialized services without any problems. I even had to have braces ( for my knees) made by an outside source without any hassles. I enjoy the after hours care better than going to an ER. I just wish that they would reopen the Fredericksburg center back to full time like it was before pandemic time.

Kaiser has been on a steady decline in this area for the last 2 years. Can never get an appointment, closed their urgent care, made flu shots by appointment only, dangerous misdiagnosis', they dont respond when you contact them, and the list goes on. I would warn against them if you have another option. Open season can't come soon enough so I can switch to real insurance.

Worst Kaiser location! I used to live in Woodbridge and the facility there had everything. This one does not even have an urgent care. How are you going to make a required all in home facility and not have an urgent care. If we would go to somewhere outside Kaiser the insurance would not cover. I had to wait 2 hours for a “walk in appointment” and they wouldn’t even let us leave making fake promises when we said we can come back at the appointment time. I can’t wait to switch insurance

My mom was with them 42 years 12 years on Medicare . She recently move to Fredericksburg in which they have a Kaiser office . Needless to say they said her zip code is not in there area cancelled her two months before a new plan goes in place . She has heart issues and had a appointment to see her heart doctor Dec 7th . No she only has Medicare 80%coverage until new plan goes in place Jan 2023. WOW they would not even keep her two months after 42 years with them ! Sure if she was healthy they would of probably kept her like they have with her partner ! They don’t even follow up after heart problems they gave appt 4 months later!

Today was not a good day at KP Fredericksburg. After waiting 30 minutes past my immunization appointment time, I finally picked up the "assistance" phone in the waiting area and ask why it was taking so long. The admin person who answered had to call the nurses station in the immunization clinic. A nurse finally called me back. She said that I was on a separate list for immunizations and she was not provided that list. Also - as I was leaving the front area of the building a lady walked in with a large white Great Pyrenees dog. I assume she was an employee because she chatted with the security guy and then took the dog into the elevator. I asked the security guy if KP was now allowing dogs in. He said no and that the dog was a service dog. I reminded him that there was no service dog harness on the dog so I doubed it was a service dog. The whole place has gone down hill. Glad its Federal open season so I can switch.

I saw Dr. Asante, in the Fredericksburg location, for the first time. She took her time to THOROUGHLY explain options, risks and treatments. She answered all of my questions and gave me her undivided attention, all while not making me feel small. I felt seen, heard and understood. It was a great experience for my not-so-great physical experience. She’s amazing!

I wish i can give your doctors 0 star. I am never satisfied by kaiser doctors. They dont want to work with the patients they just want easy way. Instead of listening and resolving patient issues. They spend 10 mins and say you will be fine. I went many times to kaiser doctors for different problems i swear all my problems are still there.

Why on earth should I have to drive to Woodbridge for an urgent care appointment. This is not the 18th century. Fredericksburg is a huge city. There should be weekday appointments. Can we get with the program?

Very please that Urgent Care has returned to the Fredericksburg location - All of the health professionals at Kaiser are caring, which I particularly appreciate.

I had my kids in to see their pcp dr Jimenez and Lisa came in to do his shots about a month ago and was so wonderful that he didn’t cry. My child is special needs and I couldn’t believe how amazing she was with him. Dr Jimenez was great as usual but her nurse Lisa was definitely a game changer

I don’t know any women that enjoy getting their annual pelvic/pap smear… That being said, Dr Asante made my visit comfortable, personal, and was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her! The nurse, Anna, was also wonderful 😊

I absolutely love Kaiser Permanente healthcare. I drive from my home in Richmond (1 hour 10 mins without traffic holdups) to KP offices in Fredericksburg, Colonial Forge and beyond because having KP for my healthcare is so important. I strive for living 5 mins from everything but this is my exception. I strongly hope that KP will come to Richmond soon and for the rest of Virginia and why not?! KP is efficient and comprehensive in the care it gives and I love the many doctors and medical staff I’ve encountered over the years. I often make a point to ask these same people “Do you like working for Kaiser?” and the answer is resoundingly “Yes!”. It’s great to know that what I think and feel about my healthcare providers is shared by my providers as well; testament of the integrity of the organization. More Kaiser PLEASE!!!!

I don’t usually like doctor visits but the staff at kaiser fredericksburg made me feel comfortable and at ease. They are very professional and genuinely seem to care about their patients from my experience. I would recommend this office to anyone who wants to see doctors/nurses who really care about their patients and not profit.

We have had two lactation visits with Amy and is wonderful. She is very friendly and patient in teaching us how to breastfeed and answering all our questions. Baby is latching well now and doing great. Thank you Amy for your help.

RN Vonnie and Singh was very sweet and gentle. We need more local access to care on week nights and weekends. Like urgent care in fredericksburg

My experience with Kaiser Permanente was very pleasant. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. My experience with Dr. Sherlonda Asante, MD, M. D. was very thorough and professional.

I am overjoyed with the Fredericksburg location being opened on weekends for emergencies. If not I would either have to drive an hour to the nearest Kaiser or go to the hospital. This saves me time and money. I make it a point to thank the medical personnel there personally!!

We love Dr. Henry and Dr. Abban in pediatrics. We’ve also had a great experience with Dr. Asante OBGYN. I just wish their Urgent Care was open 7 days a week. It’s a pain having to drive all the way up to Woodbridge to receive after hours care.

I saw Dr. Sim today for sore throat. Her CA Christina is fantastic! Great bedside manner, very personable, and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Sim was also wonderful! She asked through questions when taking history, in her assessment, and ordering tests/medications. Laura in the pharmacy is also delightful.

Awesome lab services, Lakesha was so so kind. Love her and wish she would be there more! The ONLY downfall of kaiser is that FREDERICKSBURG closed urgent care and after hours services. It is SO inconvenient not having that option anymore. I know I'm not the only person feeling this way!!! Please reopen services for after hours/urgent care.

I've been a patient with Kaiser for two years and I pretty much always have a great experience. The Fredericksburg and Stafford locations are both clean, efficient, and have wonderful staff. I always see a MD which is a rarity and really gives me confidence in their treatment plans. I love being able to see the doctor then immediately go downstairs to the lab or radiology department instead of having to take another day off work to go somewhere else. When it's done correctly the entire process is fluid and amazing. When it is done incorrectly though, like the Springfield location, it is absolutely terrible. I just try to schedule my routine appointments ahead of time to guarantee I can get an appointment in Fredericksburg or Stafford. In the end, while the occasional commute to a NOVA location is beyond annoying, it's worth it knowing I'm not going to have to hunt down a provider that takes my insurance and/or fight the insurance company to cover it.
