Went for the bbq served Fri/Sat evenings during the summer. This is a quantity over quality type of place. The meat seemed more baked than actually bbq'ed and was overcooked most of the time. The skin on the suckling pig was soft and soggy, which is a real bummer. Drinks are on the expensive side. The courtyard garden is cosy.

We waited more than an hour for our food because they deleted food order. The waiters are not very kind.

absolutely beautiful restaurant with really kind and helpful staff, but unfortunately the food was simply dry, watery and tasteless. unsalted white potatoes,burnt caramelised potatoes, watery cabbage and sauce, dry meat and overly sweet desserts. maybe stay away from their sort og traditional holiday menu items. but again, gorgeous interior and every server and staff member were nothing but lovely

You enter and you are in a royal world with kings and queens looking at you. The waiters are very friendly and the dishes excellent. Dogs are not only welcome, they even get a free snack.

Very nice restaurant with good service nad food. Nice area to walk and look at the houses and neighbourhood. CAR parking rather problematic as possible along the road. They have a bar at front and more restaurant tables outside and inside the building.

I’ve only had an Irish coffee here but it was the best one I’ve ever had and I would definitely come here again just for that alone! Looks like they serve a buffet on weekends too but didn’t have time to try this time around.

We had sort of a "store kolde bord" with a selection of cold cuts, seafood, a vegetable quiche and some cheese, and a selection of bread. Everything was a bit "boring" leaving this author without the "wow" I usually get from at least one or two of the servings. The meatballs (maybe intended for the children, although plentyful so probably not) lacked salt!! How can you not salt the meatballs enough? We do not visit a lunch restaurant concerned with our cardiovascular health. Right? The cake, however, was both impressive and tasteful ...and sourced elsewhere by the host!

Musky and warm. You can feel the history of the place radiating from all the paintings and photos on the walls.

Great place for all you can eat style dinner. Cozy stylish and delicious.

Service was overall decent, waitresses were really nice. The appetisers (soup) was great and so were the dessert(baked cambert)! However the mains were disappointing in taste and even more disappointing when you match it to its price. Overall its a good drinking place but i would skip the mains.

We sometimes come for brunch buffet on Sundays from 10am. You can sit outside or inside on very comfy 'hyggelige' surroundings. The food is good and the staff very friendly.

Meat and sides were dry on a Tuesday. Dogs allowed.

We had a cozy evening with good food and friendly staff. Everything fits in a nice old restaurant like going back in time with many pictures of the danish royals through generation.

Beautiful place, but the staff is too indifferent to the guests. They forget about the order, smile at each other...so strange behavior. The food was almost cold and not very tasty. Expected more. Very sad.

Copenhagens oldest restaurant serves a nice buffet lunch, which would be a much better experience if served on plates at the tables. That would also reduce food waste.
