Always a good meal. Staff is very friendly. My boyfriend had the prime rib and i had a pizza.

My wife and I stopped by after a long morning at Eckley's Miners Village. The food and service were both great. I ordered the steak antipasto salad as well as six wings. They were both delicious. I'd drive a couple hours just to enjoy this meal again.

I stopped in The Otherside Bar & Grill last night, and had a very good experience! I am from the Freeland area originally, I've been out of town for about 2 years, and coming back recently I decided to stop in. I was greeted by name, which was a pleasant experience, it felt like I never left home! I ordered food, which was amazing! I got a chicken quesadilla, which was bigger than expected. And after a few drinks decided to try the French onion soup, which was out of this world good! The bar staff was very courteous and checked on me often, I wasn't left with an empty glass for very long at all! The owner of the establishment, which I hadn't seen for quite sometime, came right up to me and shook my hand, we chatted for a brief moment before he went back to work. Yet another warming experience of my visit! I wasn't sure what the experience would be like on my walk down, as I'm not the "bar type" of person, but I was surprised by how pleasant it was, and I'll definitely be going back!!!

The day we visited the restaurant was my brother's birthday. It was a last minute little family get together. There were seven of us total, plus a to go order. The waitress was awesome. She was attentive, but not overbearing like some waitresses. Food was awesome as always. On that day, the dish my brother wanted was not on the menu, but the cook made it for him anyway, when he found out it was his birthday. It was truly a great time.

Disappointed. Something has changed since we were last there. Ordered Guinness chips an old favorite of ours and they were nothing like they used to be. And neither the anti-pasta nor the chip prime rib were as good as they used to be.

I go in at 9:30 to order food and have a drink at which time I told by the bartender that the kitchen is closed and I'm on a conference call with my cousin sharing my opinion about this kitchen being closed at 9:30 while the bar is open until 2. The bartender jumps into my private conversation violating the first amendment and tells me "sir don't sit here if your gonna talk about the bar or owner!" Waaaaaaaa whaaa whaaaaaat? I wasn't rude I wasn't disrespectful I was sharing my opinion about the amount of money lost by choosing to close the kitchen at 9:30 and remain open until 2. OPINIONS ARE ILLEGAL HERE! VERY RUDE YOUNG BARTENDER. I WILL NOT HE RETURNING. Shame, I came to speak personally with Johnathan and I was on a conference call) with my Cousin and 3 other witnesses. WOW!!! I LEFT IMMEDIATELY
