Lovely beer garden at the back and very picturesque. Friendly staff and plenty of food choices. Not the cheapest restaurant in the area but worth the visit as the food is very good indeed. I had the Backle (ox cheek) and it was perfectly cooked as was the schnitzel for the kids and the pork that the wife had......highly recommended....

Loved it! We made this place our target for a leisurely walk along the river from Marbach am Neckar. The food was excellent. First of all the menu, great choice of meat and bon-meat with a lot of locally sourced ingredients. We went for the meat of the day, which was Wild Boar for EUR 26. Delicious ingredients cooked excellently, a high restaurant standard that is definitely worth the price paid. There is also a good selection of wine and some beers. We sat outside in the Biergarten. We could admire the picturesque architecture of the place and of Alt-Hoheneck village. The service by all the people that interacted with us (table service and bar) was top notch. Professional and attentive but also very friendly. Well done all round!

Clowns, they had 5 tables in use on a Monday (backing day, small menu), but the kitchen was "overloaded" and they could not take in more customers for the next hour or so. Well, it is a 5 table place in this case, like a food truck. Will try again, with a reservation, see if we get a better experience.

We chose this typical homey, family-friendly establishment because of the rave reviews we read online. I'm happy to add my own. The quality of the food and picturesque setting along the Neckar River have made it popular with locals, so make a reservation the day before you wish to dine. The meal was perfectly cooked, from the Landchen in savory sauce to the spätzle with buttered bread crumbs to the Schweinerücken to the steak with melt-in-your-mouth onions. Friendly staff, but pay in cash if you're from America.

Fun genuine German restaurant. Really appreciated that the waiter also spoke English and made great recommendations The "fun in a glass" dessert was superb and very aptly named. Highly recommend this experience

Krone Alt-Hohenecke is fantastic place for dinner! Excellent service, warm people! Nice salads, lot of Vegetarian & Vegan options! Local beer and wine selection. If you are in Ludwigsburg, do not miss this place!

Fantastic traditional swabian food, will definitely visit again. Great variety of vegetarian options too.

I really enjoyed the 2022 Biennale. Many fantastic female artists which touched heavy subjects in a much lighter, more colorful way that Maße me think but also enjoy. Also really enjoyed that a lot of artists referred to colonialism. Especially the Sami Pavillon was impressive.

Nice German restaurant with delicious food and good service. I have been there for a few family celebrations and we have loved it every time. I can especially recommend the Rostbraten or the house-made Maultaschen. The restaurant is decorated with old photos of the building and its surroundings.
