As a self-proclaimed foodie, my life has always been a journey to find the best food. And when I set my foot into Sahara Imbiss for the first time and took a bite of the Sahara Spezial mix Teller, I immediately knew that I had finally arrived at my destination. The perfectly balanced mix of ingredients, covered in the best peanut sauce I ever had, harmonising with a mildly sweet mango sauce, made me realise that Sahara is a special, a unique place. I honestly think that words cannot describe what I experienced there. It was otherworldly. It was magical. All I can tell you is that the day you will enter a Sahara Imbiss for the first time will be the day that changes your life forever. As for me, I hope that once I die, I will be sent to a place where the rivers are made of sahara peanut sauce. Until then, see you tomorrow or every other day at Sahara Imbiss!

Food wasn’t bad. And that’s kinda it. It’s just nothing spectacular in taste. Not sure why this place is so hyped up as I‘ve had far better plates featuring falafel, magali and halloumi elsewhere in Berlin. Happy I tried it once but I have no need to come back here again.

Food is fantastic. I've had a few of the bowls, they're very reasonably priced, good portions and the flavors are excellent. Not usually a fan of peanut sauce but it's delicious here. Excellent value for money. Service is quick as well.

Perfectly decent vegan plate. I had the Sahara vegan teller for €5. It had several different vegetables, falafel and fried tofu on a bed of iceberg lettuce. Had plenty of peanut sauce and had them add chilli sauce. It was good, but not super tasty. Sandwiches: I've returned a few times and tried the Makali (sad it doesn't have fried Aubergine and they don't grill the sandwich like others) and fohl (beans) with falafel -- which was quite good as was the tofu. Unfortunately, none of these was quite 5-⭐ delicious like "Sahara Imbiss" (king of falafel) or Maroush. I plan to try everything vegan on the menu 😉 Note: I have seen them close at midnight, so don't count on them being open after then if you're coming from far away.

The best place we have been in Berlin. Ingredients are Finley selected and a real Sudanese cuisine with very affordable prices. We passed the other side of Berlin on rain to reach the place and our expectations were not down !!!

The teller and reis bowls are excellent value for money. Generous portions and you can skip the peanut sauce if you find it too strong, like I did. Be careful of the fiery hot chilli sauce though; it resembles sriracha (which is totally impotent to me) but burns like ghost chilli peppers!

Ich werde nie wieder bei ihm einkaufen gehen, solche Leute gehören nicht hinterm Tresen.

I visit Sahara every time I'm in the neighborhood. This is truly one of my favorite places in Berlin, a hidden gem of deliciousness. Anything with the peanut sauce is incredible, but the Kufta Magali is my personal favorite. For less than €4, you can walk out of this place happy and satiated! 10 out of 10!!!

Good place to grab a bite. Their peanut sauce is great and adds a different flavor to your usual falafel etc. The portions are okay but not huge if you're a tall guy like me. The staff is super nice.
