owner was pretty rude and made us feel uncomfortable, probably doesn't like tourists cause he was very unwelcoming and even though he could speak our language (cause he did speak it from time to time) he continued to speak to us in german knowing we wouldn't understand. had to leave without even ordering. can't speak for the locals but if you're a tourist definitely do not go here.

The restaurant is really comfortable. The waiter is the best. He is relaxed and takes te time for foreigners to let them find the words. The food is delicious. The spaghetti bolognaise was probably the best i’ve had and the prices are good. The parking is easy, just around the corner is free parking after 17:00 If we ever visit Freiburg again we will come back to eat at Da Giorgio! Most definitively worth the while to go to.

Terrible restaurant experience. I ordered a very simple pasta - Tagliatelle Bolognese but the smell was so bad that I couldn’t eat it. I just tried once and sent the whole plate back. And I had to pay for the plate!!! There was just one waitress and he told me that he is not working there normally but only helping for that night! Da Giorgio was my worst Italien restaurant experience ever. Everything what we ordered was really very bad.

This is the worst dining experience I have had. Absolutely this is not Italian.Smelly bolognese we sent back, Frozen schnitzel and a steak they asked for euro100 unashamedly. Stay away!

Very good price-quality, but the waiter took things at his own pace, we had to go inside to pay after we got the bill because he forgot about us. Also I was really missing a can of spicy oil to put on my pizza. Nevertheless, the food was great for the price.

Absolute gem of a waiter, very nice and kind, makes sure you feel comfortable even if you do not speak german that well. The spaghetti bolognese is simply amazing, best i have ever had at a restaurant. We could only pay cash, but the waiter also explained where the nearest ATM was and made sure we knew before we ate to avoid post dinner frustration. If we ever come back to Freiburg, we will visit again.

We are visiting from the US and we loved this restaurant so much that we came back 2 nights in a row. The waiter was incredibly nice and patient. This was some of the best food we’ve had on our trip! We will be back next time we’re in Freiburg.

Friendly owner, comfy place, great pizza. It is my second time, and I will definitely come back.
