Amazing German traditional dishes. Its located in old part of the city and it just nice to sit there and have a dinner. We had one of the dishes with roast beef, pork cutlet and apple ring as a dessert. All of them were great. The staff is also pretty helpful and friendly!

Veeeeery nice. Expensive and equally nice. Would go again. Dessert looked better than it tasted, but the main curses tasted better than they looked - and they looked good! : ) Friendly staff quick service!

Lovely place and really friendly staff. We hadn't pre booked but they still found us a table. And my husband and I are so grateful. The food was fantastic. We both had the pork schnitzel with salad and French fries . I didn't think I would manage to eat all of it , as it was two large pieces! But it was soo good I ate it all! 😋 definitely recommend great food, great service and lovely surroundings.

Traditional food in a traditional setting. If you want to be sure of a table it's best to reserve. Otherwise you can be seated at the bar if there are places left.

Great authentic food with lively people and a charming atmosphere

This is a traditional German restaurant, in a cosy atmosphere, a must go for both tourists and local people. My experience was very positive. Food was excellent, but you must of course like German food, mostly meat-centered. I suggest a visit to this place if you want to feel the local taste of food.

Really nice place. Here you can find a typical German cousine and some nice variation. Staff super kind and client friendly(they have menu in many languages even though it is just small restourant) and prices super honest compared to quality. At the end of the menù there is a small description and history of every dish. That was very nice idea and I appreciate it a lot

I had the pleasure of dining at Zum Schwabentörle without a prior reservation, and despite the bustling Saturday crowd, we lucked out with an outdoor table on a warm evening. Surrounded by the lively streets and with a picturesque view of Schwabentor, we knew we were in for a memorable experience. The service was outstanding, with both our waiter and the bartender speaking English fluently. It was a relief to receive English menus, making the ordering process seamless. The culinary delights matched the excellent service. The coffee and beer I ordered were of top-notch quality, setting the tone for the meal. The real star of the evening, however, was the rump steak. Grilled to a perfect medium-rare, it was incredibly tender and oozing with juiciness, a true carnivore's delight. Overall, Zum Schwabentörle exceeded our expectations. The combination of great service, scenic ambiance, and delectable dishes made for an unforgettable dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of excellence in both cuisine and service.

Nice place to enjoy Swabian cuisine. Zwiebelrostbraten and swine medallions in mushroom sauce are top!
