I found it great that even on a Saturday afternoon they serve lunch menu price options. I ordered M20 (spicy tofu curry for around 9,50€) and it was delicious. The lichee drink for 6,50€ seemed a bit on the expensive side. But overall was a wonderful dining experience. I recommend the place.

Food are delicious. I enjoyed every bit of it and so my boyfriend too. Staff were nice. Ambiance is cool and quite refreshing. Will go here again if i go back in Freiburg again 😊 very much recommended 👍

Well we went to this restaurant while staying in Saint Louis. A decent vietnamese restaurant with a lot of choices. There is really everything for everyone!

Highly recommend, the food is delicious. I always enjoy every bit of it and so my family. We often come here the weekend, the ambiance is very cool and the staffs are also nice.

Aaaaaaamazing taste and amazing location. We had been for the lunch time which they offer for a special price. It was so delicious and the service was amazing!

A very popular restaurant in town. The lunch menu with appetizer is better value and with quite many choices. My family tried five dishes. I would say they are good at Thai or Vietnam style of dishes, but Japanese dishes are more "Germanized". The only raw fish quality I think that is better is Salmon in the mixed Sashimi platter. And alas the rice of a nigiri sushi is really too firmed and hard. Service is generally friendly and nice. What I favored most is the speed! You don't have to wait for a long time from order , dishes served to payment in such a well decorated restaurant. If the drink prices could be more friendly (one House Ice tea for 7 euro!), I would be more willing to visit again to have non-Japanese dishes.

The place is nice and there are lots of outside seats and stuffs are nice also. Typical Vietnamese food, the spring rolls are very nice than the others. Only the price is a little higher like the Pho. But yes the amount is larger I would say, we had to try to finish it...

We were craving something other than traditional German food during our recent visit to Freiburg. The food at Mai Garden was very tasty and the ingredients were high quality. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely return!

Coming to restaurant w reservation and after that waiter said we have to wait cause they don’t have a space. After sitting and next 20 minutes of waiting, waiter come and ask if we already have ordered the food, sure we said not and without saying anything in few second she drop the menu cards on table w word “bitte” Absolutely horrible experience!

Very nice terrace with an amazing atmosphere. The cocktails are also very good, especially the ones with fruit juices. We had sushi and it was very fresh and tasty. We also had some prawn dish, which is not for the weak - it was not supposed to be spicy, but if you don't eat spicy regularly, you will feel it strong :)

We've had sushi as well as cooked Vietnamese dishes on various occasions as take out and as dine-in meals. We've never been anything but completely satisfied. Quick, friendly service, excellent food, good prices. Mai Garden is a must visit location for us whenever we are in Freiburg.

It felt like they just care about the money and making profit! I ordered a drink and got something totally different. Who changes a customer's drink without consulting the customer first?! It was so awfully sweet, I left it untouched. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant, sorry.

Best Asian place we've found so far in Freiburg. Nice location, welcoming atmosphere (we loved the sublime saxophone renditions of popular tunes playing in the background), great food. German wasn't our strong point, but they had enough English to help us make fantastic choices. We'll definitely recommend the King prawns :-))

Pan Asian cuisine. Typical for Germany, but the food was ok but not authentic . Nice atmosphere. The menu is definitely too long. The Pho, however, was surprisingly tasty. A bit expensive.
