Perfect place to hangout or catch a football game with your friends. Overall chill vibes and atmosphere. Strangely they have a pretty good variety of vegetarian food available on the menu. The drinks are offcourse great . It's definitely one of the best Irish pubs in Munich.

Came to this place to meet my friends, who where early inside, 20 minutes before closing. I asked politely to the guy at the entrance if I could enter as I didn’t know what the bar rules are. He answered making fun of me and my basic German, asking me if I had a gun so he could kill himself because he had to listen to me talking. Probably just saying I couldn’t enter, would have been enough. I won’t for sure come back to this place to find such humiliating and racist staff.

Bad place! We ordered 3 burgers with French fries. They came without cutlery. After we asked the waitress, she said the co worked forgot it. We ended up eating without cutlery. After 30 min she came with the cutlery when we already finished the food. We complained, and she said to us literally: I DONT CARE! Very bad service. Went there many times, but this was my last…

We each had a burger which was good. The fries were even better. Although the pub is absolutely central, the prices are still okay so far. Beer is delicious anyway ;-) We sat outside, so I can't say anything about the inside. The waitresses were very attentive and friendly.

My husband specially brought me to the place. He used to come here before to drink and watch football with his team mates. · Arriving just after 5pm on Saturday, there was already a wait for a table outdoors. The interior of the restaurant is a sunken bar cave, so you can imagine the atmosphere will be great in winter. · I highly recommend the chicken burger here, the chicken is made tender with crispy bacon, the taste is very good. · My husband ordered the fish nuggets, which were a little greasy for me. Overall it was good, comfortable outdoor atmosphere, friendly service, plus a delicious meal with beer. Saturday was enjoyable!

Great Irish bar in city center. Staff is fast, polite and friendly. Nice beer selection, great atmosphere and good food. Watching and game here is a nice experience. Any food basket is really cool thing for sharing with friends while drinking beer and watching game.

Cool pub with some nice Irish beers, sadly there wasn't more O'Hara's types only one. Anyway i liked it. And stuff is super friendly. Close to center but no on open area, its worth visiting if you like Irish pubs, and some Irish beers.

Absolutely brilliant shop, I felt like I was there every day during my four-week training course in Munich. Always full, good people, good atmosphere, no matter what day. 👍👍🍺🥳

We had a great time in full hustle and bustle with good live music (Malon way) and great DJ music! Didn't eat anything, just drank. Always happy <3

Very cool location if you want to meet up with friends for a few beers. The only drawback is the seating on the wooden benches - you have to do some gymnastics there to find a place for your legs if you are over 1.80m tall. 😅

We found this location as one of the few online that had Sky Sports ⚽️ When you go downstairs there is an Australian themed bar and an Irish themed bar and to be fair, you sort of get the atmosphere from the different rooms. We spent our time in Killians, we did not eat so can't comment too much on the food apart from it appeared fresh and very popular! Pitchers of beer were €13.50-€18.00 depending on which one you went for and is 1.5L. The staff were very busy, very polite and attentive and never wanted to see us with an empty table! I feel I should comment on the Security, my group of 4 were non-German and were treated with the same respect as anyone else present. Very polite 😊 A band came in at 2100h. They were good, from what we could hear towards the back of the pub near to the entrance! Tables were busy and a lot reserved in advance, I don't know if they're usually like this or because of Oktoberfest, but a nice little spot nonetheless 😄 An massive issue was the male toilets, there are two urinals, 2 stalls. 1 urinal was overflowing into a black bag on the floor which meant the floor of the toilet and hallway were outside were just covered in urine. Did not appear anyone was cleaning it or trying to prevent it from being used. This meant queues were long for the male toilets! 🚾

Amazing ambience & thoroughly enjoyed. Met a person who has family in Buenos Aires & who stay nearby to the localities I stayed back when I’s in BsAs. We tried beer, beer with lemonade & shots.

Great Irish pub! Typical beer, cider and shot selection. The food is also just what you expect and want from an Irish pub. I would especially recommend the burgers! And - as to be expected - also a great international crowd.

Really nice Irish pub with great range of vegan options. Enjoyed the vegan basket and the sauces it came with. Would definitely recommend

The service was so excellent, the restaurant was full but that was no exception for an excellent service, food was ready super fast, quantity is a lot, the prices were very fine and the quality was superb, we had a great time there on our last night here in Munich. Thank you so much for your excellent and kind service!!aaand don't forget to try the Murphy's beer, they are very good!

I'm not one for tourist traps...and this is actually NOT a tourist trap- or if it is, this is where any tourist would WANT to be trapped! 🤣 It's a beautiful atmosphere, with very friendly staff, lovely 'Old Irish' ambience, lively vibe and great drinks. No matter where you are from, or that you are in Munich, it does Ireland proud and you're going to have a grand time. 🙂💚

Came here to watch f1 and f1 we watched! They had a wide beer selection, they were a bit pricey but that is to be expected from an Irish pub. The place was clean and we had a very nice waitress who was there at our every request. Definitely recommend coming here to watch some sports or to just have a drink with your mates (or both)!

Great atmosphere, but it is crowded, especially on weekends. The best part about this place is they have a separate area for the people who want to sit alone. All the waitresses are helpful and quick.

A cozy, traditional Irish pub. Much better than other Irish pubs in Munich. Big portions of food and happy and friendly staff

  • 4/5 Oliver I. 8 months ago on Google
Visited on a Friday night, naturally very busy and crowded. Live music and the rugby world Cup on the TVs. Food was good portion size and tasty (though a long 45-60min wait) as it was very busy, service at the bar was fast for drinks (English and German speaking bartenders). Rather hot down there though, even being sat near an air con unit.

This is a great Irish Family owned Irish Pub right in the heart of Munich. Staff are very helpful. Drinks & Food choice is amazing. Decor looks great. Indoor & Outdoor seating available. When in Munich this place is a must visit🇮🇪🍺✌️

Great experience watching a Sunday PL match during Oktoberfest. 1 dropped star only because they were understaffed during what should have been anticipated as a very busy time. We got drinks fairly quickly, but there was a little back and forth with the bar not wanting us to order food, because we needed to wait at the table for the server, but the server was behind the bar helping.. it took at least 45 to finally order food. Staff was very friendly though. Overall all experience: very good.

Seriously, the best fish and chips I've ever had. Drinks were fantastic as well. Service could have been better, but I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Oktoberfest jälkeen poikettiin tänne. Aivan mahtava meno. Tupa täynnä ihmisiä, jotka bailasivat täysiä. Paikallinen livebändi viihdytti perjantai iltana. Soittivat mm U2 ja Rolling Stonesia, eli hyvät rokki setit saatiin bilettää

Killian's Irish Pub is an absolute gem in Munich! The staff is top-notch, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The diverse range of bands playing different genres adds a fantastic touch, ensuring there's something for everyone. The hardworking staff goes above and beyond to make your experience memorable. It's a must-visit spot in Munich, though snagging a seating place might be a bit challenging, but the vibrant atmosphere makes it all worthwhile. If you're in Munich, don't miss out on the opportunity to enjoy Killian's to the fullest. Cheers! 🍻

Very nice place to watch some game and listen live music. Staff are good people. It is hard to get a table though.

  • 4/5 Mircea C. 2 years ago on Google
Had some really nice and large beers here. Food is very Bavarian so you can get fries with just about anything. Place is kinda crowdy. Did not have a reservation so we had to wait a little until someone left. Staff is friendly and they speak English also.

This place has been around forever and the ambience transports you to another world. The food is great and the service is friendly as always.

Good food. Good selection of drinks. When there’s not a pandemic (not sure if they do it now) they have karaoke nights every now and again which are awesome (and they could do much more of!). Friendly staff. Fun ambience. Recommend coming here :)

This place is a hidden gem. We arrived for a late lunch and some drinks on a Saturday. We sat inside. The atmosphere was chill. The mood was perfect for a Irish Pub. Great Music. Great Service. But the real secret here is their kitchen! The food was incredible! From the table bread to the Guiness Beef Stew. I wish I had more time to try more of their menu! Oh and the server, Alana, was funny, helpful, and took no nonsense. Highly recommended for lunch!

Favourite pub in Munich! The go-to-place to break away from Bavarian lifestyle in Munich. Their Fingerfood bowls set them apart.

Nice live bands playing here, nice service, bit packed evenings though

  • 5/5 Ryan M. 2 years ago on Google
I've only sat outside the 2 times I've visited. The weather was too grand, the sun too warm to sit inside. The Guiness is cold, the Fish and chips are fresh. If you need a little of Northwest Europe, a taste of the British and Irish Isles while in Germany... you can't find a better spot.

Great vibe and friendly staff. I don't recommend the Kilkenny because they dont serve the traditional creamy version. Besides that I highly recommend visiting this pub. Go early as it does get packed quite quickly.

My favorit Irish Pub when I am in Munich. Always friendly stuff and couple of nice Pint of Guinnes beers.

We visited as group of 8 Tuesday for Karaoke night. We asked several times DJ for our song to be included (girls of our group) and we received mixed answers. After other people turned up already few times on podium, I asked DJ why it is not possible to include just one song of our group into the list - apparently locals just gives him list of 5-7 songs at 9pm for all the night. DJ become agressive to me, and even started pushing me and treated me with security... I asked him being 2 times older if he is serious about being so rude... We left soon after this ... Total disgrace... Group of locals singing themselves, not considering any visitors.. Absolute shame, never before I reviewed any place with just 1 ⭐....

Crowded location, nice stuff. Food pretty much tasteless and full of oil (I had an wiener snitsel) except for the desert (brotsche puding) which was delicios.

This is a great Irish pub. Live music, good bar staff, tasty beverages, and a great atmosphere where you can relax, have fun and not feel bad for speaking English. The food is standard bar fair but you don't go here for that, it's just a fun welcoming place to have a few beers and enjoy friends.

Good place to have beer with snacks. Service is good and the place has a nice vibe to it. Liked the music n ambience here. Food and drink options are plenty n is not very expensive. Just one problem the food portion is quite high for one person. Overall good experience

Very nice service, the staff were very friendly. Food were great with reasonable prices, my fish and chips was 14.99€ but the potion was large and I couldn’t finish it. Would probably visit this place again 👍🏻👍🏻

It's a German mainstream Irish pub /sports bar. If you're looking for a genuine experience, it's definitely not this. Even food is mostly catering to local taste instead of offering the real deal. Some beers or Ciders are Irish but only the "big brands". The place is usually busy, staff is friendly, service quick. Crowd is mixed.

  • 4/5 Ethan W. 1 year ago on Google
Found this little bar. You also get the Australian bar in the same location just down the steps. Great if you was traditional Irish stout. Went every night seemed busy classic karaoke, sports ect. All good laugh though. Although I didn't try the food I saw plenty of other people eating and the food looked great. Let's just say hearty portions.

Coming hear for long years now, when I happen to be in Munich. It's a perfectly nice place in the cellar, with fine drinks and lovely food. But way above that it is a welcoming place - never met any not nice staff. Always warms my heart. Today is first time after Covid (well, sort of) and I am happy nothing has changed. Thanks guys!

It was very funny that, travelling from Ireland, the place I had the most fun in Munich was an Irish Pub! You can definitely find the Irish craic in this place. Very international and interesting crowd.
