Bistro Wine store Wine wholesaler

👍👍 I've often bought wine from the Volkhardt wine and bistro, whether it was Italian, French or wine from Austria, there in Pasing at the Wolkhardts there is only first-class wine, I can only recommend it. You will not regret it. Lg.Rainer People often mention wine, wines, advice, selection, March, good, shop,

Volkhardts Wein und Bistro has a good selection of wines that are excellent in many areas. I personally find the selection of German Rieslings to be excellent, but the winemakers' selection for Franconia, for example, is also impressive with names like Rudolf May and Wirsching. Then why only 2 stars? Well, unfortunately customer friendliness is not a priority here. At least not when I was there today. After I had already bought a bottle of wine, I politely asked if I could try some of the wines by the glass. The answer: "Yes, the bottles on the far right are the most interesting wines". Then I stood in front of the bottles for a while to see what kind of wine it would be. After the gentleman didn't come, neither to say anything about the wines nor to possibly pour one of the wines, I took one of the tasting glasses and wanted to pour myself a sample of one of the wines. Then the salesman, who hadn't made any move to serve me before, comes running up, takes the bottle out of my hand and says: "I'll pour it for you, this isn't self-service here." Yes, thank you very much too. This is exactly how you scare away customers. Mind you, the store was completely empty and I was the only customer in the store. For me, the last opportunity to buy acceptable wine around the Pasinger Kern area is gone. It's a shame because the wines there are great.

I definitely can't give this wine shop more than one star. There are some interesting wines, but at completely inflated prices. I also don't find the advice that exciting, there are much better, albeit smaller, wine shops. In addition, the owner is very unfriendly. Therefore only 1 star.

I enjoy shopping there and am always happy about the great advice and friendly team. There is always something to try and the right wine advice for my cooking creations is always well received. The parking spaces directly in the courtyard are particularly practical.

Great wine shop with a very good selection. There is no comparable wine shop in the entire west of Munich. The selection of German wineries is great. The Austria, Italy and sparkling wine theme is also great. Very competent advice and great service. I can only recommend!!

Very good advice when it comes to special wines. I shop there regularly at Christmas and New Year's Eve and have already discovered sensational wines. It's a bit pricey but worth every cent.

The wine shop with a long tradition in Munich. Perfect advice on a wide range of wines. Gift baskets are put together excellently and bring a lot of joy.

The on-site advice was exceptionally good. With a lot of time, calm and competence, I received some wine recommendations to suit the course and the occasion. To celebrate, the small wine accompaniment was a complete success and was very positively received. Thank you

(Translated by Google) In the spring we had the whole simple requirement, namely up-to-date, fresh Veltliner! We got vintage 2018! We complained politely and diplomatically and were dealt with in an extremely unfriendly manner.

Feedback on the after-work wine tasting with Mr. March to November 2022: The wine tasting lasted 2 hours, price €39. There were 5 red wines to taste. All between €8.30 and €11.40 per bottle. Wine was also poured upon request. As a small snack there were a few breadsticks with olives, ham and salami. It was a "blind tasting" meaning the bottles were indistinguishable (wrapped with aluminum foil). Each guest had 5 glasses in front of them, which were filled with different wines. We were also given a list of the 5 wines that were served and were allowed to puzzle out which wine was in the glasses. Mr. March gave us tips and pointed out differences. We liked the concept so far. However, the expectations of the guests and the host Mr. March is otherwise a bit apart. Introduction of the host: quiet guests, dignified atmosphere, preferably no conversations in order to concentrate fully on the wine tasting Introduction of our group: nice conversations, relaxed atmosphere, exchange about the wines, information about the wines Mr. March repeatedly asked us for more rest. We weren't particularly loud, but it's clear that when a table of 10 women starts chattering away, it's not necessarily quiet. Apart from our group, there were only two other guests present. Unfortunately, the host was neither able to meet us with his concept nor respond to the customers and create a more relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately, different ideas simply clashed. This probably also led to disagreements, Mr. March didn't seem particularly friendly to us. At the beginning I asked whether it would be a problem if an eleventh person didn't come. Mr. March was a bit annoyed at that. Yes, it was our mistake, we overlooked someone when logging in. In the end it took less than 3 minutes for Mr. March had set up the additional 5 glasses. In my opinion, it's not a big deal 5 more glasses, but also one more customer. He got upset several times about our incorrect registration. I know good professional service differently. Of course you can tell the guest if something is wrong, but there are always several ways to fix something. Rudeness is rarely appropriate, especially if the guests are not rude/ask. As I said, different ideas simply clashed. Nevertheless: If you like a quiet and dignified atmosphere, you will definitely not be disappointed here. Not recommended for casual after-work. We would have liked the wines to be “unveiled” at the end, i.e. the packaging would be removed so that you could see the bottle.

Very nice wine shop with a large selection, something for every budget and occasion. Professional advice from competent staff. My suggestion: just bring some time and get advice.
