Feedback
on
the
after-work
wine
tasting
with
Mr.
March
to
November
2022:
The
wine
tasting
lasted
2
hours,
price
€39.
There
were
5
red
wines
to
taste.
All
between
€8.30
and
€11.40
per
bottle.
Wine
was
also
poured
upon
request.
As
a
small
snack
there
were
a
few
breadsticks
with
olives,
ham
and
salami.
It
was
a
"blind
tasting"
meaning
the
bottles
were
indistinguishable
(wrapped
with
aluminum
foil).
Each
guest
had
5
glasses
in
front
of
them,
which
were
filled
with
different
wines.
We
were
also
given
a
list
of
the
5
wines
that
were
served
and
were
allowed
to
puzzle
out
which
wine
was
in
the
glasses.
Mr.
March
gave
us
tips
and
pointed
out
differences.
We
liked
the
concept
so
far.
However,
the
expectations
of
the
guests
and
the
host
Mr.
March
is
otherwise
a
bit
apart.
Introduction
of
the
host:
quiet
guests,
dignified
atmosphere,
preferably
no
conversations
in
order
to
concentrate
fully
on
the
wine
tasting
Introduction
of
our
group:
nice
conversations,
relaxed
atmosphere,
exchange
about
the
wines,
information
about
the
wines
Mr.
March
repeatedly
asked
us
for
more
rest.
We
weren't
particularly
loud,
but
it's
clear
that
when
a
table
of
10
women
starts
chattering
away,
it's
not
necessarily
quiet.
Apart
from
our
group,
there
were
only
two
other
guests
present.
Unfortunately,
the
host
was
neither
able
to
meet
us
with
his
concept
nor
respond
to
the
customers
and
create
a
more
relaxed
atmosphere.
Unfortunately,
different
ideas
simply
clashed.
This
probably
also
led
to
disagreements,
Mr.
March
didn't
seem
particularly
friendly
to
us.
At
the
beginning
I
asked
whether
it
would
be
a
problem
if
an
eleventh
person
didn't
come.
Mr.
March
was
a
bit
annoyed
at
that.
Yes,
it
was
our
mistake,
we
overlooked
someone
when
logging
in.
In
the
end
it
took
less
than
3
minutes
for
Mr.
March
had
set
up
the
additional
5
glasses.
In
my
opinion,
it's
not
a
big
deal
5
more
glasses,
but
also
one
more
customer.
He
got
upset
several
times
about
our
incorrect
registration.
I
know
good
professional
service
differently.
Of
course
you
can
tell
the
guest
if
something
is
wrong,
but
there
are
always
several
ways
to
fix
something.
Rudeness
is
rarely
appropriate,
especially
if
the
guests
are
not
rude/ask.
As
I
said,
different
ideas
simply
clashed.
Nevertheless:
If
you
like
a
quiet
and
dignified
atmosphere,
you
will
definitely
not
be
disappointed
here.
Not
recommended
for
casual
after-work.
We
would
have
liked
the
wines
to
be
“unveiled”
at
the
end,
i.e.
the
packaging
would
be
removed
so
that
you
could
see
the
bottle.
