Very nice vista point in the Perlacher Forst Woods just rising above the trees: Provided there is good weather spectacular views of the Bavarian Alps! By the way: Not a natural hill but a former flak bunker structure from WWII that has been covered by the excavation material from building the nearby autobahn after the war.

The hill itself isn't interesting. But it is high enough to have a full 180° view on the alps. Unfortunately all is a bit far away so you need to have good weather conditions. Nevertheless, the walk (or ride, but no cars) is also very exciting.

An artificial hill in the middle of a forest, offering good views when the weather is clear. During WW2 it was an anti-aircraft artillery site, and it was too solidly built to disassemble so they just covered it with lots of dirt. A worthwhile stop if biking through the forest.

When it's clear, you have a view of the Alps. Nice place to have a beer and watch the sunset. If you bike, be aware of hikers...they aren't all polite. Also you can start your geocaching here, just beware of Muggles.

The way through the nature to reach this place high over the land is quit relaxing. No sound, cars or other disturbing effects. The view is very nice. By clear weather you see the alps and the deskt intalled there shows you which mountain is where. Try to free some time for this excursion. From the parking it's about 20min normal walk until up. And on the top you can enjoy the view, nature and silence. I recommend, when you want to break out the "life-rollercoaster" mentally.

Good view from top if skies are clear. You can clearly see Alps in background on distance. Nice view overall of Forrest.
