Great area close to the docks and town. Able to cool off from the bright sunshine. Fremantle local authorities certainly are doing all they can to make visitors feel very welcome.

Nice open space near to university and waterside bars and cafes. Lovely for family picnics. Not many benches so bring your own blankets and chairs. Also didn't see any BBQs so just your own prepared food.

You can't visit Fremantle without saying "Gidday" to Bon, and having a paddle at Little Creatures! You just can't!!

Such a beautiful park, but needs more maintenance and should have been more shades specially for rainy winter days!

New upgraded playground is brilliant! Suitable for babies, toddlers and older kids too. Right next to the skate park and ferris wheel. Need more bins though and maybe benches. Great spot!

Nice park for a family picnic. Kids would enjoy it. It's in the heart of Fremantle. Maybe needs more shaded areas.

A nice little park with toilet, skate-park, playground, and most importantly it is opposite to all the restaurants. Little creatures brewery and Cicerello fish & chips are within 5mins walk. If your are feeling it, the ferries wheel have nice scenery on top.

Great big park to take the kids with lots of equipment to play on. You can pay to go on the Ferris wheel and get great views of Fremantle. So close to all the eateries at freo, museums the unique shops of freo.

Excellent place to escape the heat wave sitting under the trees for a family picnic with the breeze coming from the sea.

This is a nice park with plenty of space for kids to play. Ferris Wheel is fun too.

The wheel offers a very interesting view of Fremantle because most buildings are very low. Ciccerellos has always a great selection but they actually ran out of my fish πŸ™„

Great little spot to sit amongst the trees and get some reprieve from a hot day until the Freo Doctor breezes in. Public toilets available at both ends of the park and a great space for their Christmas markets.

Excellent place to bring the family πŸ‘ͺ πŸ‘, the area could do with more seating near the attractions.

Pissweak world. $40 for a family of 4, for 4 loops which took a bit over 5mins and you don't see much. Grab an ice cream and walk along the foreshore. It'll be cheaper, longer & more enjoyable.

Esplanade was the ideal setting to host Summersault festival. Nice space and the trees offered lots of shade opportunities

From the prehistoric world to the latest with dinosaur creatures to a ferris wheel and a fast skate park and a playground with a climbing pyramid connected to short but steep and fast tube slide.

It's always a pleasure doing photo shoots at Fremantle. At the Esplanade Park itself there is of course the Ferris wheel and nice trees surrounding the area. You can easily walk around and are spoiled for choice in terms of photography spots. The old buildings are a favourite of mine along Cliff St an High St. Pick late afternoon before sunset for the best photo opportunities.

Be nice to see a bit of a face lift on the old park ! And having the carriage cafe reopened would create such a great family park

Well maintained park, lots of shady places to sit and have a picnic. Toilet facilities on site. Play ground and an abundance of options for food

Esplanade Park is peaceful even when children are running around. It has restaurants and a coffee shop at the southern end and public facilities at the North and Southern ends. It has a smaller version of the London Eye Ferris wheel. If you look across the railway line You'll see the original cicerello's fish market and fish and chip shop ( must be over 50 Years their market's been there )πŸ˜‡
