Lots of easy riding through several notable districts of Fremantle including south beach and it’s funky coffee culture. Michael, the owner and guide knows his city with a demonstrated love for the city’s past and present, worts and all.

This is the second time I have joined Fremantle Tours to see Freo. Michael is a beautiful storyteller and his passion for what does is so evident. I can not recommend it enough. Well organised, honest, informative and so much fun. I will be back again, there is still so much to see and Fremantle is an amazing place. Thank you x

Charismatic and knowledgeable guides showing you Fremantle from the local perspective. Expect blending history with modern trends and where city is going. Street art meets port heritage and all of that packed in easily digestible, entertaining package. Did the tour as a birthday tour with friends and it was absolutely phenomenal. Recommending both as a personal or work related activity.

We really enjoyed our tour around Fremantle with Lucy. Lucy is very passionate about the town and entertaining. She set us up with a great appreciation for the fabric of the town. The coffee stop was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

Michael was a fantastic tour guide with a warm and friendly nature. He is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about Fremantle. He showed us around Freo explaining it's interesting quirks and history. Michael gave some great recommendations for places to eat and drink, whilst taking us to some hidden street art. The tour was run at a fun and leisurely pace, we came with our toddler and Michael was more than accomodating. It's a great value tour for both tourists and locals alike. I've lived just 10 minutes from Freo my entire life, yet I still learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Thanks again to Michael for taking us 'off the beaten track' and providing an eye-opening experience.

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough for both visitors and locals alike! I'm a Perth local who was wanting to do something a bit different, and this tour with Michael was such a fun way to spend the day. Michael tells you the incredible history of Fremantle, what it's like to live their today and where it's heading into the future - all while looking at beautiful historical buildings and soaking up the beautiful views of the port and the ocean (and getting some retail and hospitality recommendations along the way!). He was so friendly, and it was more like spending the day with friends rather than listening to a tour guide. Also, don't let the bike tour put you off if you're not fit - you cycle on easy bikes at such a relaxed and enjoyable pace, on flat roads, with lots of breaks to look around - it really is the best way to see the city. I have told everyone who will listen about this tour - give this a try if you're on holiday or if you're looking for a fun afternoon or date idea. You won't be disappointed!

A must do in Freo! Michael is a super friendly, knowledgable and local guide who shares many interesting insights and spot on recommendations. The public tours are perfect for both visitors and locals to join, or grab some friends/colleagues and book a private tour for a fun day/night out.

Excellent tour, extra mega recommended. Very good energy, personalized and they show you the best places in Fremantle. I took the bike tour, a very comfortable and easy to use bike. All told with people who really love the place and make you want to return.

Me and my girlfriend loved the walking tour with our tour guide Michael. The knowledge he has about the little things in Freo made our stay here so much interesting. You can see he has a passion for the town he lives in, this is what makes the tour so great. Loved it! Much love, Tim & Evi.

Michael showed myself (a newbie to Freo) and my partner (a forty somethingth who spent most of his 20’s hanging out in Freo) a hell of a good time. We explored some amazing bars, each with its own style and charisma. After getting to know us, Michael even bought us to a few extra places which he thought we’d like. We were both thoroughly impressed!

I went on this tour as part of my company's Christmas party and it was absolutely amazing. Michael made the tour super interesting, entertaining and enjoyable. I loved riding around Freo on the bike and discovering many new gems in Freo that I never knew about before and learned a lot. He even gave us a whole list after the tour with all the details of what to check out, can't wait to go back to all those places. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone else as well! It really gave me a new fascination with Freo and I am looking forward to my next visit there, as well as to my next tour with Michael. Thank you so so much!

Michael is a wonderful host! He showed us a lovely evening around Fremantle bars and told us so much about the history and development of the food culture during the tour. I will definitely be booking one of the other tours they offer in the future. I've also gifted a few tours to friends and family who have all related their similar 5 star experiences to me.

If youre looking for an amazing way to get a group of people together, learn some history and see the incredible sights of Fremantle, this is the way to go!! We booked Micheal in over the weekend to do a tour of the city for a group of 17. It was above and beyond our expectations as he had food and drinks waiting at each stop, he educated us on the rich history as well as the latest additions to the port city, made us laugh and showed us so much of the magic that Fremantle has to offer. 5 stars all the way, thank you Micheal and Fremantle Tours, you guys are AMAZING!!

We had a wonderful time on the 3-hour bike tour of Fremantle. Perfect mix of history and modern-day influence. We discovered many hidden local gems, and went out for dinner to one of the recommended spots after the tour. It did not disappoint. Michael was the perfect guide: knowledgeable, passionate and very local! He was a great advocate for Freo, and as a Perth native, I fell in love with Fremantle even more.

I took our team on a tour of Fremantle with Michael and it was simply brilliant. Despite working in the area we learnt so much about the history, people, art and culture of the city and discovered some interesting new watering holes that we didn't know existed. A great way to spend an afternoon.

It's easy to be enthusiastic about Freo - the history, the food and brewery scene, the architecture, the street art, the weather, the people - but, hands down, Fremantle Tours should be top of the list. The Walking Tour with Michael was way beyond expectation, one of the most comprehensive introductions to any city I have visited around the world. It was fun, it was culturally sensitive and insightful, it has structured the rest of my time in Fremantle with more depth and understanding of this town's place in history and its future. Besides which, the coffee was amazing and the bar recommendations spot on. Tremendous value. Sign up.

Michael loves Freo and it is easy to see from the moment you start the tour. The best tours are the ones given by tour guides that are passionate and invested in what they are doing and Michael was an excellent example of this. He made history exciting and gave us amazing recommendations for the area. He was super friendly and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this tour! We also had our 10 month son with us and Michael was so accommodating and easy going which helped tremendously.
