I stayed here for 2 weeks for a work trip and it was exactly what I needed. Wifi was fine, hot water plentiful in the shower and spacious room. Loved the work desk and used it every day. The bed was super comfortable, soft with squishy/heavy pillows. My things were not disturbed when cleanings were done. The pool heater was broken upon my arrival so I did not try the outdoor pool. Gym is small and has one bike machine, one elliptical and 2 treadmills. Also some weights and one bench. It could use a sweep in terms of the floor but was otherwise fine. Breakfast is not a buffet right now due to covid so you choose an option from a menu and an employee will hand it to you. You can then eat in your room or take it out with you. There are options like eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt and oatmeal. For drinks there are juices, milks, teas and coffee. I had the same employee help me with breakfast almost every morning and she was the best! She even let me know when my favorite flavors of yogurt came in, thank you Blanca! All desk staff were super friendly and gave me hot water for tea most nights. Staying in a hotel long term for work can really suck but this place made it a lot easier!

I flew in from AZ to be with my husband after he was injured on the job. He was in a wheel chair and was/is completely non weight bearing. The manager was amazing. From allowing us early check in to giving us a room to accommodate the wheel chair, he made every effort to see that we were comfortable. When I had to have them call 911 after he fell in the room, the manager told me I could have called him to help get my husband up and that he would help move him in the future. It's a very scary and vulnerable time for us, and they've been a huge help.

This Hyatt was right where we needed it. The room was surprisingly larger than expected. Many times, the rooms don't have an actual table and desk area. The "living" area was roomier than most Hyatt Place that we have stayed at. As far as the 2 queen beds.. I think they are smaller then queen size. It's probably more like a double. So that was a downside to the room, with sharing a bed with someone.

Here is my first stay with this property, parking is been charged since the room rates are higher though,, Roma are pretty old and carpets are not cleaned for a while I guess in the room. Food and beverage is not up to the mark at all, disaster breakfast service on few dates I experience on some of my days. Same menu for my 8 days and budget is not served on right containers, so uncomfortable to open and self service for us. No dispensers in the shower room, on summaries with front desk advised Maintainence is working on to it!! Positive note: The staff at the breakfast area in the morning - I missed her name (wearing specs) she is awesome and dedicated on breakfast. She was day off for couple of days and no one was there to take care of refilling , lot of guest left too with out eating!! I would like to give her a 5***** for her only, not for the property. Hyatt management should inspect to such property and service.

I stayed here for the first time with my wife and daughter. The hotel was nice. The staff were nice and courteous too. Also the breakfast was excellent. Me and my family will definitely go back again.

They always have a problem with their glitchy system so always call to confirm that the room is really available. Rude front desk staff during check-in. Funky carpet smell. Bedsheets in the hallway. Loud a/c. Tiny bathroom. Doors doesn't have felt pads/ door closer so you'll here doors banging all night. No microwave. Nobody cleans up the breakfast counter and trash is just piling up in plain sight during breakfast.

Hyatt Place was a great surprise. Conveniently located between the 680 and 880 freeways off the Mission Blvd exit. Approximately 25 minutes away from the San Jose Airport. The hotel can accommodate reservations both online and by phone. AAA discounts are available as well as Gold level Hyatt members. Newly added is an $8 parking fee. Amenities include fast/free wifi, swimming pool, meeting room, computer/printer, bar with sample menu items like burgers, sandwiches and salads. There's a hot breakfast (7am to 10) included with your stay. Eggs, sausage/bacon, waffles/pancakes, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, bagels/toast, yogurt, coffee/juice. The rooms are surprisingly spacious. I recommend the king bed size roTV. The bed mattress was firm but the pillows were clumsy, not soft and somewhat uncomfortable. The room includes full size sofa bed, coffee bar/sink, desk, mini fridge, large screen tv. The shower had high water pressure and I stayed on the top floor (7). I have to comment on the staff. At check in I was greeted warmly but not overdone. The breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. In my opinion the staff can make or break my stay and I was pleased with satisfaction. I recommend this hotel for a business trip or for families. rg-

Ok, let me tell you a quick story about amazing guest service. As a loyal Hilton Diamond Member I see and except amazing guest service. Moreover, I've seen not only amazing guest service but I saw how two team members work amazing with one another. Ashley and Nathan took guest service to a whole new way of viewing amazing guest service. Because of these two amazing people you have earned my business and my team members business. I am the director of operations for AMR Ambulance for the SE Division. Great job for wowing me as a loyal Hyatt member. Thank you for taking care of me.

After staying at 2 different Hyatt Place in California, we would try to avoid it in the future. 1) Charge extra $8 for parking 2) Fitness room is very dirty, with dirt all over floor. 3) Fitness air conditioning is broken. Temperature set 68 F, but thermostat showing 84. Reported to staff at 6:30pm but was told all maintenance staff were gone. 6:30pm !! If combine point 2 and 3, I realized there probably has no maintenance in Fitness room for days, such that the temperature could raise to 84 with absolutely no cleaning. 4) No microwave in the room. First time ever in my 20 years traveling in America that there is no microwave convenience in a major hotel chain. There was only 1 microwave in the lobby. God forbid if it was ever broken like fitness room and no maintenance staff again. Stay here at your own risk!!

Well built and well maintained. Lobby is quite nice and eating areas. Staff were great and very accomodating. Still wish housekeeping went back to daily by default in the Bay Area but we were still able to get it. House keeping staff are very nice. Place being next to the freeway is not uber great but it is what it is and they did a decent job of mitigating the sound. Kids liked looking at the trains and Bart in the distance. Wife liked breakfast. I wasn't super keen on it . I prefer to make my own waffles, but it was ok. Hyatt has this really crumby policy of charging 10 bucks a day for parking. We ran into that elsewhere. It's not like it's in a crowded area where there isn't already ample parking. Staff were very accomodating and waived this time around because it was not mentioned on the site we booked it on and we signed up for the Hyatt program.

After we checked in, as we walked into the hallway to get to our room I was shocked to see how old the building is. It still has popcorn ceiling very old carpets walls and doors. I can smell dicaded of dust accumulation and mold. When we got to our room it was the same. I was hyperventilating. There's no way we can stay there more than 5 minutes. I talked to the manager and askef if we can cancel our reservation without penalty because we feel like this place is inhabitable. She bluntly refused and told us we can leave but she will still charge us for the night .We've been a Hyatt customer for a long time and this was the first time we experience the lowest form of humanity type of customer service. The service matches the condition of the property. It is not healthy to stay in this place.

Rooms are very dated. We had a problem with a loud fan in the bathroom last year. Told management but it was never fixed (we were only there for two nights). This year our room had the same problem and again, it was never fixed. When we returned to the room for our second night, the room was untouched. We had to flag down a cleaning person for towels in the morning! We will be looking elsewhere for our future reunions.

Where do I start with this property? First, $10 nightly parking fee!!! Keeping in mind there is no assigned parking, no lot security, and it’s not a resort of any sorts. One price online and no mention of any parking fees until you arrive. Smells like false advertising to me. Called corporate and asked for a Manager to call me to discuss and all I got was an assistant. Rooms are dirty and noisy. I thought the mini fridge was going to take off in the middle of the night. Given the price of this stay we could have stayed at a way better hotel than this. Save your money and don’t waste your time.

Great location. Very easy to get to anywhere in the bay area or into San Francisco. We have been here a few times over the years. Great variety and freshness for breakfast. Plenty of seating area. Would recommend for family trips and stays.

Breakfast on Saturday is all right but on Sunday they aren’t able to output enough food so we just wait and wait for food to be ready. Also half items like bread and oatmeal was not refreshed is like they didn’t have enough food and staff.

I’ve been stayed at several Hyatt house and Hyatt place hotels, and my experience was always awesome. This Hyatt place hotel Looks dated than others. Rooms are kinda 90s style. And lights/ lamp are not working well. But besides that, staffs are very nice and helpful, and hotel is clean.

  • 3/5 a. v. 6 months ago on Google
The quickest check-in I’ve had in my entire life, but they did not explain anything about the stay. Nothing about the deposit they make to the room nor the additional charges, nothing about breakfast, no information at all. The included breakfast is ok. The gym is quite small. There is nothing around the hotel to be able to walk to. No garbage bin on the toilet which is think necessary even more so if you are in your period, which I was. I came to this hotel for a wedding and when ironing my dress the ironing board kept closing so it was useless and the iron left my dress with white spots that I think is lack of maintenance or use. The bed was uneven so I ended up with a back pain at the end of my stay. I’d say the only thing worth about this hotel was that it was close to the venue and that the rooms are big.

Below average, budget friendly Hyatt. Brought a dog. No shed, no stains. Regardless, they have a $75 non-refundable pet fee. Completely understand the charge...but I think it would be reasonable for a potential refund if little to no extra cleaning was needed. The room (before the dog) came with weird stains, so I immediately let the staff know beforehand...just in case I wasn't randomly charged. Popcorn ceilings as well :/ Didn't try the breakfast. Parking onsite I believe for $10/night. Area outside might not be the best. Random people were parking in the lot and some homeless folks were lounging in the area.

As far as Hyatt Place properties go, this one is slightly below average. The room furnishings are beat up, carpeting stained, moldy grout in the shower, air conditioner in the room is loud as a freight train. Location is off the freeway in a mostly industrial area which isn't walkable to much. They have the audacity to charge $10/ night for parking in a dark, unsecured lot. Once you drag all your bags inside and check in, they give you a slip of paper that you have to take back outside to your car to put on the dashboard. If you're traveling alone, have fun dragging all your stuff back and forth across the parking lot again, especially if it's raining. If you're driving an EV that isn't a Tesla, be aware that all the charging stations are for Tesla only.

Hyatt Fremont/Silicon Valley is an excellent choice overall good hotel room. Beds are comfortable the room is spacious, rooms are clean and this particular Hyatt offers complementary charging for Tesla Vehicle owners. They have a nice pool and friendly staff.

I’m currently staying at this hotel and as a Globalist I requested daily housekeeping through the app upon check in. Much to our disappointment, when we returned to the room after our long day, our room was not made up. When the front desk was confronted, they said they never received the request for daily service, and that it was too late in the day (3:15pm) to make up the room. Im not looking for over the top service when staying at a Hyatt Place property, but a clean room and basic services is bare minimum a hotel needs to meet, and this property falls short.

The service was great and the staff is super friendly. The building itself is starting to show it's age, but still a nice place to stay. I had no issues with my room during my stay. I really like that they have a bottle refilling station in the hallway on the first floor. That is a nice recent upgrade that they have done.

Stayed 4 nights. Very nice interior with a decent restaurant and bar. Reception was outstanding. Had two issues: The hotel gym is unhygienic! They provide towels but no disinfectant wipes for in between use of equipment. A guy on the treadmill, who was sweating profusely, immediately jumped on the weight bars and then on the bench leaving tons of nasty juice all over the place. He did a simple wipe down with his towel and then left leaving all types of nasty all over the bench. Looked for anything to disinfect but couldn’t find any so moved on. This happened every time I went to the gym. The place looks clean but is obviously ridden with germs. Additionally, if you work out between 1600-1800, don’t expect any hot water from your room showers. Called the front desk 3 out of 4 times after working out and although they promised to look into it, this never got resolved. Talked to a few other guest and they had the same issue so if wasn’t just my room. The disappointment was the lack of initiative or communication. Each time I brought this up, I had a different person taking my compliant and it was the first they heard of it. I decided to try a new hotel as I’m in business 4-10 days a month in the area but will likely go back to my “go to” hotel because of this. It’s too bad because otherwise, I would’ve given this place 5 stars and change hotels. Since they don’t care about losing customers who would potentially spend 8-12k a year there, why go back?

Comfortable stay, the air-conditioning was top notch, the staff was okay. There is a slight smell in the hallways but besides that the rooms are pretty nice and spacious. Great location for jumping right onto the freeway.

Disappointing customer service. They couldn’t provide an early check-in, when it was especially requested at the time of booking. The hotel staff didn’t give any updates on when the room was going to get ready and kept on saying to wait 5min. I waited for 2 long hours and then at 11:15am made the decision to go with a downgraded room option that was available. The room linens also looked really old. Never coming back to Hyatt. Most good hotels pay attention to the guest special requests.

It was the perfect spot near our event (only 5 minutes away if that!!!!!!), perfect room, perfect service. It is a beautifully decorated (seems perhaps renovated maybe maybe not). First and foremost, I would like to thank the staff. They went above and beyond and were so incredibly friendly. We had a very long journey (about 6 hours) and we had arrived early. I was concerned because we had to rest, refresh and get ready before tha night's event. However, luckily as I explained our situation to the front desk person at that time, he right away searched to see if there any available rooms then and he said "Is it okay if it's on the 1st floor?" I told him at that point I did not really even care!!! lol and perhaps it was a better option, as it actually turned out to be. The room was very clean and comfortable. It had a mini bar/with sink area and hotel fridge which was helpful when we bought snacks to have in the room. It is definitely worth mentioning that the staff were very helpful in several occasions. Again, 1st when the receptionist was able to check us in early. But also, I had asked for a luggage cart and they couldn't find them since other ppl were using them. He saw me waiting and then said "Come on! I will help you with your luggage ". After that, when we returned to the hotel that night, we had purchased some food at the local market that needed reheating. I figured it'd go to waste. I asked if they had a microwave and she said "Of course!" And pointed to the breakfast room/area. Fyi..They have a bar across the breakfast room with Starbucks coffee and other assortments. Also, the same receptionist was very helpful later on when I asked if they had a bottle opener and disposable cutlery. I felt as though I was already being too much asking a lot but she kept the same tone throughout and she said "Of course!" And handed me the bottle opener and disposable cutlery. I was so glad she did bc we were able to not let the food go to waste. Later after, I returned to return the bottle opener and the next receptionist on shift said to keep it and bring it back in the morning!!! 😊🥺 so so sweet!!!!!! Also, lol I went back to the front desk to ask for ice and was told the machines are in the upler floors but since I was on the 1st floor, that she would get it for me from the kitchen (even though it was closed!!!!). We are talking late at night so that was super sweet of her as well. Honestly, everyone here has been very sweet, friendly and super helpful. Many thanks to the staff and hope to be back this way soon. I will definitely stay there again!!!!!! 🙂👍 PS The breakfast offered quite a few options for many different tastes and likes which was nice. I saw coffee, cereal, grains, juices, eggs boiled and scrambled, potatoes, bacon, ham, bagels, toasts fruits, oatmeal, teas, etc, etc, etc. And also, they have staff who were cleaning/spraying/desinfecting constantly as people moved out of the breakfast area. It was nice to see how diligent they were ensuring the table and area were clean. Def 🙂👍(sorry for any typos. Typing this on the fly and on the go lol).

Had a great experience. Room was very nice and very clean. Nice buffet breakfast and swimming pool. The Hyatt App let me checkin and checkout, plus I could use it as a room key

Was with a large group for 3 nights. The whole time we were there Kiki was working the front desk and she was wonderful. Rooms were clean and breakfast was great. We come here every year for work and Kiki went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Decent place, super friendly staff and the room look quite nice. The only down side is that our room reeked of wet dirty socks and mold. We had kids, so it was not the best of environment for them. The room itself just felt disgusting, I cannot speak for all rooms, just our room specifically.

Good service overall...except, I didn't get room I reserved for even though I had a confirmation. They were claiming they were fully booked. How is that? When your system confirmed that it was available a week ealier, before my arrival. Make the system show what is truly available and not waiting till the customer arrives to make the change.

We’ve stayed here a number of times. It’s a good value for a Hyatt property. The beds are slightly too firm and the rooms occasionally have some minor issues, but they are always clean and well done. Staff is very friendly as well. This is a go to hotel for us when in the area. Good bargain!

Great location, close to many companies in the east bay area. Hotel is clean and fairly priced, due to COVID, room was cleaned every 4 days. Hot breakfast is as usual.

Most of the time we use Hyatt Place when we travel. The Fremont Hyatt Place was really nice. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was very clean and quiet. Great place to stay. Have to say they did a great job cleaning during the time with COVID. We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Hotel was clean and staff was responsive. However, in the parking someone broke into our new car during the night and hotel had no clue how to handle this. Car was parked where the hotel staff recommended us to park (since I was moving to CA and it had uHaul trailer on the back). Receptionist asked me to park in the far away corner which happen to be a dark place in the night. All this made this stay horrible.

The staff were fantastic and accommodated an early check in. Breakfast was standard fare, and the hotel is clean. Unfortunately the beds are extremely hard. I slept on the sofa.
