😠 A horrible experience. Our kitty Vera was sick. From the start it was all about money. They charged us $800 for 3 x-rays. AND $300 EXTRA to tell us what the x-rays showed. They showed nothing. So 3 months, 3 visits, and $3,000 later they left us with a sick kitty. Next, we went to Dr. Tisdale in MSJ... People often mention visit, great, doctor, care, experience, exam, told, time, staff, give,

The staff here they are beautiful souls!!! the service is just beyond five stars, the doctors are so nice and honestly when you come with your pet not knowing what to expect they always put you at ease and they give you the best service there is. Nothing less but my best wishes for all of them, and a big thank you to each and each person that works in the clinic

The rabbit doctor is probably the best doctor there. Truly cares and looks out for your pets. Receptionists are nice and do a great job. But the doctor that treats dogs, not so great. Nice guy, but doesn't give good advice. Took weeks to finally get lab results back. Dog not doing so good. If I didn't listen to him I would have known what to do sooner and also getting lab results back sooner I would have known what to do sooner.. I don't see my dog making it, but it is what it is.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU NEED MORE THAN JUST A SIMPLE EXAM AND VACCINES!!!! If I could give 0 stars, I would. I recently moved to the area so when my dog started acting differently, I trusted the reviews here which I now very much regret. I know my dog isn't the easiest to handle during an exam, but they acted like they could barely touch him. When we got the xray results back, the doctor said he was in congestive heart failure and prescribed meds to clear out his lungs. Those meds caused his kidneys and lover to start failing which in turn caused my dog to stop eating entirely. The vet then recommended euthanization and said there wasn't much else to do. So we stopped all meds and focused on giving him his best last day we could. Over the next 24 hours, he started eating again and gaining his strength back. 48 hours later, we took him back to a vet that I used to work with. Basically they told me that we had other options besides just wuthanization. Mission Valley would have had me kill my dog and not given another thought to it. Screw that hospital. I will never return and will never recommend them to anyone else.

Overcharges and the people up front don't know what's going on! My cat had her first round of shots and they never called me back for the second round. Went back last week for the second round of shots then was told I had to redo them. So I had them do the first round again. I called back in today to check the appointment for the second round of shots and they said she was all done. So they do not seem to communicate among each other. Woman on the phone seemed like she couldn't be bothered lol.

Everyone was very friendly. I have a large breed dog and felt very comfortable at Mission Valley Veterinary Clinic. The vet asked if it was ok to approach my dog and pet him and give him a treat. I appreciated that care. They took time to answer all my questions and go through everything with me. Best vet clinic I’ve ever been to Dr Virk is AMAZING with large breed dogs. I have 2 Cane Corsos and I brought them in, they got exams, shots and blood drawn and the whole time they were very comfortable and it was obvious that Dr Virk was comfortable handling them. She loved on them and made them comfortable with her before starting the exam. If you have a large breed dog, Dr Virk is the best!

Had a really good first visit here! It was easy to get an appointment online on Sunday and get an appointment by Monday! The staff is excellent with good bedside manner, thorough explanations, and an excellent recap of services. The cost for the treatment was also better than the 3 other vets we've been to in Fremont. Dr. Kenwar Khalon was excellent!

Two weeks ago I went here for a check up on my dog. I went to the front desk and the workers were rude and were saying things under they’re breath. They later did the check up. And added extra fees without my knowledge that made the original 700$ that I could barley pay for into 1200$. But the worst part was when they didn’t give back the results until we told them that we were going to report them the bank and they sent it 30 minutes before we could make the report. To anyone thinking of actually going here k beg you to find a humane society who cares about you pets well being these people are con artists who don’t care about your pet but do care about squeezing any last coin out of grieving families

The majority of the team is great. Dr Kahlon is awesome. He is very helpful when I ask questions and he even called to check in on my dog after the first set of vaccines. I was impressed.

We only started going here recently but have had good experiences so far. I really appreciated that they accommodated my anxious dog by letting us do one of his vaccines in the empty lobby, instead of taking him into the back without us. We try very hard to keep him from becoming afraid of the vet, and accommodations like that are a big help.

Dr. Virk spayed and neutered my 4-month old kittens in January and did a fantastic job. Kittens recovered quickly! This office staff is very friendly, so each visit is a great experience. Shout-out to Berenice and Leslie for answering all my questions and reviewing prices with me!

I agree with the other reviews that say something is off about this place. I took my cat in for an exam and a few things stood out: 1. The towel they had down on the exam table was disgusting. It had holes and had huge yellow stains all over it. 2. They asked me to take my cat out of the carrier to weigh her and then left and made us wait another 10 mins to see the vet. A trip anywhere is very stressful for a cat, couldn’t you do it all at once so she could stay in her carrier until they were really ready? 3. The vet didn’t even end up touching my cat. She said she would need to be sedated. My cat was obviously scared but, she didn’t even try to handle her. They were able to pick her up and weigh her just fine. I had given her some relaxing medication before and she was relativity calm. 4. The prices they gave for sedation and X-rays were more than 3 times what I have paid in the past. 5. The vet didn’t ask any questions that would seem to be relevant to what my cat was experiencing - Nothing about recent bathroom usage, past medical history. Overall, my impression of this vet was she didn’t truly seem to care about her patients and just wanted to make her life as easy as possible while collecting a check. Almost $100 later, with no further information and the vet didn’t even touch my cat. My cat is still experiencing the same symptoms and I will have to take her elsewhere to get her examined and diagnosed properly.

Great spot to bring in my rats. Vet was knowledgeable and friendly, and she was able to schedule me that same day even though it wasn't an emergency. Reasonably priced. 4 stars for receptionists not being that familiar with rats and handing me a dozen copies of the same form for me to just fill out one copy.

I will not be back. 1st time visit. Overpriced and scammed into buying expensive medication. My dog has a small lump on his skin, and I was told they’d send me home with a steroid to help shrink it to prevent surgery. I got home, opened the package, used on his skin, and then looked at the container. It was hydrocortisone 1%. For $45! Something I can purchase OTC for less than $10. I was quoted over $2,000 for a basic dental cleaning. I have never paid more than $1,000, and that’s including extractions. I understand it’s my fault for not checking the medication before purchasing, but who uses hydrocortisone 1% to shrink lumps?! Even if that is a real treatment, he could have told me to purchase OTC. Bad business practice. Lesson learned on my end.

The online appointment scheduler was great and we were able to get one the very next day. She was seen in a short time upon arriving. Really appreciated the vet calling after her surgery follow up that happened at VEG San Ramon.

Emergency, new visit, injury, on the day after Xmas. Following day, Houdini act required an extra tech visit. Outstanding work by all involved. Really, seriously well done.

I took my hamster here today. The place was clean and the staffs were very nice. They asked me a lot of question about my hamster so they could get all the info they want. The doctor was also nice and seem like she knew a lot about small animals. They would tell me all the estimate cost before they proceed with anything which was great. Would really recommend for anyone with small animals.

Lovely, caring people, and excellent prices! I never had a feeling they would gouge prices by ordering unnecessary tests or procedures. Good discussion prior to administering care. Once, they had to stay late on Saturday. I had a busy day, and they let me pick up my cat at 9 PM!! And without after-hours or emergency charges! Highly recommended!!

Mission Valley is always so great! Every staff member is very knowledgeable and kind. The vets especially take their time with my pet. They specialize in bunnies so I am so grateful they take care of my bun, Truffles. Would HIGHLY recommend to any bunny owner! (I have also left a review on their yelp about an instance they were able to help my bun)

Would give 0 stars if I could. My gf and I brought our gsd puppy Estrella here for her initial shots. Those went fine but as we told them on the first visit Estrella lived in a backyard for the first 8 weeks after she was born so she had fleas and an ear infection. First visit went well and they cleaned her ears/ gave us medicine for her. After a few weeks of giving her the medicine we noticed the buildup was still there. Took her back for a second visit where they told us she no longer needed the medicine and charged us full exam price for this advice as well as new cleaning solution. We questioned the advice even considering there was still a lot of buildup but decided to listen since they are the “professionals.” We followed the instructions and cleaned her ears regularly for another few weeks. Estrella still had buildup and occasionally itched her ear whining so we took her back yet again and we are charged another exam fee for them to tell us she has fox tails/yeast infection and not addressing the fact her ear is still infected and we are paying them all this money. They then hand us a bill for $600 to take them out and clean her ears. They refuse to acknowledge their mistake on the second visit of taking her off the medicine. Had a very weird experience picking her up too like they were forcing me to checkout before I saw her and I had to ask for the final bill breakdown which was higher than the estimate I was given. Then I hear Estrella whining very loud after I pay and am waiting there for her. Something is not right with this place and I’ll be seeking advice from other professionals on their practices. Also, planning to complain to the board and take them to small claims court. Save your time and money go somewhere else.

For 10 am appt, was delayed by 30 minutes at the front, waited in the room for 10 min to be seen by a nurse. A doctor comes in and says, your appointment doctor will be late, do you have problem if I see your dog. That is about 45 minutes of delay to be seen by a doctor. My dog is a rescue dog and gets nervous/shakes in new place and people. I went here, because my regular vet retired last year. I didn't have positive experience to go here again and also charges (inflation again ?) were higher compared to previous vet clinic.

This was our first experience visiting a vet clinic. We loved it! Friendly staff, above and beyond service and great puppy handling. Thanks to Rachel for fast onboarding. Christine and Dr Kenwar Kahlon shared awesome tips and tricks to raise a puppy based on their vast and first hand experience. We received curtsey nail trimming service too that we desperately needed being first time owners.

I am dissapointed with this place. Be ready for LONG hold times on call (always 2 clients before you) no matter when you call. They are diaorganized, the records they will send you is just scribbled on a notepad. It's definitely one of the worst front office experience I have had in 5 years as a pet parent. I picked this place because of high reviews, but I really wonder how are they getting these high reviews. So beware!

Our Mission Valley Veterinary Clinic could not be any better, all the other veterinarians have extremely limited availability. Mission was able to accommodate and take care of my dog Aggie for her exam and update her shots. The staff was great and very personable which is hard to find these days. They let me be a part of the process, so my fur baby was comfortable and was at ease with her visit. First impressions are very lasting, I highly recommend this vet as a one stop care for your companions.
