Wow!
Classic
&
historic
pool
hall.
It
has
moved
around
a
lot
over
the
decades,
and
now
resides
in
Fremont
on
40510
Albrae
Street.
Originally,
in
San
Jose
at
a
few
different
locations,
with
lots
of
great
players
&
history.
I
remember
when
it
was
on
Steven's
Creek
Boulevard
in
San
Jose.
Met
came
by
there
in
1988
being
escorted
by
Cole
Dickson
for
money
games.
Harry
"Hollywood"
Sims
was
the
house
pro,
and
World
Billiards
Champion.
True
to
its
heritage
it
is
huge.
The
food
is
good,
and
the
place
is
clean.
World
renowned
for
One
Pocket,
but
certainly
you
can
find
a
match,
friendly
or
competitive,
in
any
game.
They
have
large
money
tournaments,
and
top
players
visit
regularly.
Another
thing
that
impressed
us
is
their
sponsoring
of
a
youth
pool
league.
We
need
more
and
more
of
that
for
the
next
generation,
and
California
Billiards
is
setting
the
example.
They
also
have
an
agreement
with
the
local
Holiday
Inn
hotel
with
really
good
rates,
and
advertise
it
on
their
website.
The
table
rates
are
affordable,
and
if
you
are
committed
become
a
member
for
deep
savings.
If
you
need
lessons,
they
reference
Bob
Jewett.
If
you
don't
know
Bob
Jewett
is
a
long
time
great
player,
and
one
of
the
finest
billiards
instructors
in
the
world.
A
definite
must
visit
when
in
Fremont,
CA.
