When you walk up to this restaurant, you may think it is a hole in the wall; but you would be wrong. The inside is beautiful and colorful. It's an intimate restaurant with beautiful, handmade tables. They have an ecclectic art collection. We were greeted by very friendly staff. Everyone is so nice. Our food was prepared perfectly and tasted so delicious. They were so excited to show us the patio and basement which aren't open yet. We will surely be back!

One of the worst tasting food I’ve ever had. There was no taste. One star is for customer service but otherwise taste is zero and price is too high. They serve a $7.99 bottle wine at $26 a glass. I never go this negative on my reviews but the missing taste here made me write this. We had Bruschetta, Ravioli and Gnocchi.

The Rack of Lamb was a wonderful meal. The presentation was great. Very nice people. Ask Federico to tell you the story of this wine.

My gosh this place is horrible! I genuinely feel like their reviews are paid because this place does not deserve a 4.7 rating. We came here a few weeks ago and the food was horrible. The bread was stale and the service made me never want to come again. Our server, I dont know if its Fredrico himself, was drunk as a fiddler. Prices I dont care about as long as the food is good, but this place was an absolute waste of money. I wish Niles gets better restaurants because I feel someone needs to buy this restaurant and make it worth eating it. I highly recommend any place but here. What ticked me off the most was that the food was bad and the guy came to us about 5 times in a span of one hour to ask how the food was. the bald guy was too chatty. I was hoping to spend a quiet evening eating out with my SO, but this guy not only brought horrible food and wine but also made the evening unbearable. I am never going here again!

What a find!! I’m from the South Bay but currently live in Tempe AZ. I was traveling back on business but was also visiting with family. Looking for dinner on my last night in town, my BF and I wanted some Italian food but near Alvarado-Niles area. We decided to try something new instead of the typical restaurant chains in the immediate shopping/dining area. Just 10 min from our hotel in a cute antique part of town, known as Niles was this gem of a place. They have fantastic service, food and rustic decor, which made it feel cozy. We had an unforgettable night thanks to the authenticity of the staff and service. Again great food, wine knowledge and hospitality of staff. Definitely will be back on our next visit!

A cozy gem in the historic Niles - Federico's Grill in Niles captures the essence of a museum with its dark, cluttered atmosphere brimming with a diverse array of art, ranging from Argentinian and modern to pirate-themed and art deco. It's like stepping into a living history. The owner, Rico, enhances this experience with his exceptional kindness and attentiveness, making every guest feel like a long-lost friend. Nestled next to the train tracks in historic Niles, the setting is as picturesque as it is convenient. But what truly stands out is the food. From the exquisite crab cakes to the rich and creamy fettuccine Alfredo, Federico's offers an authentic Italian culinary adventure. The generous portions and endless supply of warm, freshly baked bread only add to the allure. While it's unfortunate that the restaurant no longer offers brunch, a temporary setback due to Covid, there's excitement in the air about its planned return next year. In the meantime, the live music on Wednesday evenings provides a perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Federico's Grill to anyone visiting Niles. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this unique spot is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Amazing experience! Rico and team were so attentive and wonderful. We had a delightful evening and such tasty foods. Ambience to fresh foods were just spot on. Had the risotto, eggplant ravioli app, and chicken champagne and all were amazing!!!

If you want a quaint but fun setting, Federico's is a great place to go. Definitely unique in its mix of eclectic style and formal menu, casual service and outstanding food, pirate mannequins and assorted original art, dim lighting with a relaxed atmosphere, Federico's is definitely a grest place for a date or just sitting at the bar and watching a game. Though not quite a full bar, it does have a wide range of choices. Ask to see mixologist Sol's special cocktail menu before you make your selection. She offered to switch spirits or even make any cocktail non- alcoholic for us. The wait for the drinks was long and they arrived one by one and it was a while before we each had our drinks and could make a toast, but the mixed drinks did taste very good. The food, on the other hand, arrived very promptly and every dish that was ordered at our table was absolutely delicious. The perfect place for a fun and relaxed evening. Plus parking was easy. Even on a Saturday evening.

There is no doubt this is the worst Italian restaurant I have ever been, especially because the quality of food is extremely bad! What restaurant on earth could even screw up dishes like clam chowder and crab cakes. Even the reheated clam chowder from grocery store taste much better!!!!!!!

My family's favorite restaurant since the day it opened. A very special place owned and operated by two wonderful and talented brothers.

Disappointing service, she brought me the wrong dinner, took my bread dish away before I was done eating my bread, wasn't attentive to us, but the food was good. I just wish that I could have gotten more than 3 tablespoons of the potatoes.

Flavors of the food here is Good not the best. But what puts it on the map is the customer service.

Love the food, the music, the vibe and personal warmth the host and the staff bring to the place. From steak to pasta to the exotic chocolatina...everything we ordered was worth every dime spent.

The building has an old history and doesn’t look like much from the street but walking through the door transfers you into a lovely dining experience. The menu is more of a suggestion than a hard line “you have to choose” from this. If you have a hankering for something just ask your server and more than likely the kitchen is going to whip you up something absolutely amazing that will delight your tastebuds, completely fresh on the flash! I have always enjoyed Caesar salad but tend to avoid them because of the sheer sodium and caloric value of them but let me tell you theirs is made fresh daily and is absolutely amazing, I am so glad I did not skip it! My hat is off to this delightful family owned and operated restaurant

My wife and I come here every year for our birthdays and we've never experienced such great food and service. The owner brought us bruschetta just for our food running *slightly* behind! He is so charismatic and happy and the place is eclectic and beautiful. I cannot recommend a place more.

One of the best white table places in Fremont. Great food, great service. Ample parking. Rico the owner is very passionate about his food and service. The portions are very ample. Everything is fresh and tasty. They have a full bar with an interesting decor of a full-sized pirate and maiden. So take a selfie with them. Decor is more intimate for small groups. There is outside seating in the back. Best suited for small children. The food and drinks are superb. Highly recommended!

Horrible. First: It was a Sat night and there was only one waiter working the entire restaurant. Inside and outside. Second: Their website prices are lower than their menu. Rack of lamb was $42 not $35. Third: The rack of lamb was the worst l've ever had. It came with only 5 chops, not a rack, was over cooked to well done, and was covered in a nasty brown pool of sludge. The entire plate was floating in this bitter sauce. I should have refused it but l was with friends and didn't want to ruin the party. I paid $230 for a bad memory.
