We went for the full day VIP package as a gift to my financeé. She called it one of the best gifts ever. If you can afford that package, I would highly recommend it. You need to schedule in advance, but the staff was very helpful coordinating and answering all of my questions. If you can't do VIP or don't schedule in advance, it was readily apparent that the daily tours for general admission were also very cool. All of the staff clearly love what they do and the animals. All of the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. All of the staff had a lot of knowledge and enjoyed answering my questions..., even when I was rapid firing random questions during the different experiences.

Helpful and knowledgeable staff take you on a tour that lasts approx 1 hrs 15mins. The cats all appear to be happy and healthy. You can tell the staff both respect and love these animals. And when they say to not cross the barriers, that means not even a pinky. Would recommend for others to check this place out.

We had such a great time! Experience is incredible. I highly recommend. All of the cats are happy and healthy! It seemed to me like they actually enjoy being visited. Our tour guide was very well spoken and knowledgeable. Trail is sometimes steep, sometimes rocky so wear comfy shoes. Well worth the money. It's a great experience!

We went to Cat Haven today and absolutely loved it!! All of the cats seemed very happy and healthy, and the staff was outstanding! Our tour guide (I forget her name, but she had red curly hair, and a nose piercing) was SO polite and knowledgeable. She gave us the exact experience we were hoping for! I will always support a facility that supports cats, especially when they are so good with customers and the health and safety of the animals they are protecting. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

It's definitely worth the drive! Seeing all of these beautiful cats and learning about them is fun for the whole family! I love that they are non-profit, and all the kitties are rescued!

Amazing! We had an incredible experience on our tour. I’ve never been so close to so many wild cats - this is truly a special place where you have the opportunity to really feel the presence of these amazing animals. Our docent was very knowledgeable, friendly, and provided just the right amount of information. The public tour is the perfect length (~60 min) and feels very intimate and special. The gift shop is great with lots of opportunities to support the conservation work being done here. The trail is mostly dirt and can be fairly steep at times. Not stroller-friendly. If you are bringing littles under 4, be prepared to wear or carry them. We will absolutely be returning soon!!

This place turned out to be a delightful surprise! During our trip to Sequoia National Park, we spotted the sign and decided to make a stop. From the moment we entered the door, we were greeted by the most welcoming and friendly staff. The admission fee of $16 per person was well worth it for the fantastic experience. One aspect worth noting is that all the tours are guided, providing valuable insights into the facility and the amazing cats they care for. However, it's essential to be prepared for some physical activity as you'll be walking on rough terrains with both steep uphill and downhill sections. Don't forget to bring plenty of water to stay hydrated, especially during the summer, and consider carrying a mister to keep cool and apply sunscreen. The different cats you get to see and learn about made the adventure truly memorable. I am already looking forward to returning and would highly recommend this place to all my friends and family. It's an experience that shouldn't be missed!

This is not your typical style zoo. It's nothing but cats😻 it's a small, short tour but if you love cats, it's a must see! The cats are raised by humans, making them more approachable towards visitors. You can't touch them but they're more likely to come close to the cage to get a better look at you. I got to see a baby mountain lion and I just fell in love. I will definitely visit again.

We’ve come here many times over the years and love the experience. The staff is friendly and the tour guides are knowledgeable about the cats. They take their time at each enclosure and make sure that you have opportunity to learn and ask questions. Keep in mind that the trail through the tour is not paved in all areas and goes down and up steep hills throughout. You will want to wear comfortable shoes that have good grip because it’s easy to slip in the dirt in some parts of the trail. Whether you’re a local or traveling through to Kings Canyon Park this is a great place to visit.

Very interesting. Saw 30 cats. The guide was very informative. There is some uphill walking, but they let us ride on a golf cart for no extra charge as I have simewhat of a bad back. Did you know there is no such thing as a Black Panther?

This is an animal facility that specializes in all species of cats. There are 39 species of cats, most people know of only 6 or 7. Come learn about some of the others! All tours are fully guided.

Our family plus two other families on a private tour. The private tour is well worth the extra $9 or whatever. If you have kids make an appt ahead of your trip to the sequoias (and then get the Mountain Pizza down the road).

Came across this lovely place in the middle of a road trip. Staff was all super friendly and obviously were very devoted to what they were doing. They overheard that I had my cat with me and offered to have him sit in an air conditioned room, so kind! Facilities were all nice and the cats looked healthy and beautiful. I'd mention the great workers by name but my memory escapes me. Definitely recommend checking this out if you're in the area!!

Docent guide Taz was both informative and sweet. The cats both large and small (not really small) were beautiful. This organization are serious about providing care to these beautiful animals. They rely on donations. Please visit and see for yourself..and please please donate.

My husband and I stumbled across the project survival cat haven on our way to Yosemite National Park. I saw the signs, and knew we needed to detour lol. We wanted to go on the tour of the sanctuary, but it lasted at least an hour (maybe 1 1/2 hours, can’t remember), and we had very limited time to see Yosemite. The guided tour was under $20 each for adults. Without even entering the actual sanctuary, you are able to view several wild cats, including a tiger. From a not so distant view, they all seemed comfortable, healthy, and happy. They had a great gift shop, which we were happy to shop at in support of the sanctuary. The staff members that we talked to were very informative, and happy to answer any questions and provide info on the feline residents. You could hear and see their passion for what they do. I very much recommend stopping here, and checking out the events and tours that they hold. Side note: everything that I saw and viewed was free. Only the tour portion required tickets. So if you have 30 minutes at least, you can have a great experience for free, and maybe get some great gifts in the process! Date of visit: June 8, 2023

The cats look healthy and taken care of. The volunteers gave 100% and we had a really wonderful experience. The cats are a trest to look at, even if we got pissed at and did not see each single one. Decided to support two cats at the protector level, because they are doing good and important work. Looking forward to receive my painting from Eh! Keep up the good work.

Myself and my family came here for a 10th birthday party for a family friend. We were seated near the lion exhibit which the kids loved! My kids were so excited to see the exotic cats/ lions. One even mentioned that she wanted to have her birthday party there next year. The pricing to reserve a location is decently priced. They offer three separate locations ranging from $50.00-$150.00 for booking a party. As well for a small fee you’re able to add on decorations. There was a staff member present the whole time during your party to help with bringing anyone up to the restroom and to make sure your party runs smoothly. Our tour guide made the tour engaging and we all learned new things! All the staff is great about safety and take all of their protocols serious. I recommend anyone off all ages to visit at least once.

This place was so awesome! Staff was very knowledgeable and super nice. I went with my son on a field trip and the whole class learned so much. Grounds are nice and clean. Highly recommend.

This was a special find on our weekend getaway. We came across it just because we were exploring the mountain roads. It's definitely worth visiting. We were lucky to be the only ones on the tour because of the rain, which they provided umbrellas.
