I'm
really
disappointed
having
to
give
a
national
park
a
3
star
rating,
but
it's
not
because
of
the
attractions.
The
Sequoia
trees
are
stunning,
and
the
campgrounds
at
Azalea
are
nice.
My
issue
is
with
the
"dog-friendly"
tag
you
find
about
the
park.
I
would
not
call
this
a
dog
friendly
park
at
all.
There
are
few
trails
you
can
enjoy
with
a
dog,
and
there
are
tight
restrictions
at
the
campgrounds
on
dogs.
I
get
it,
it's
bear
country,
but
still
there
are
plenty
of
trails
that
said
no
pets,
that
very
easily
could
have
accommodated
dogs.
You
can
take
a
dog
anywhere
you
can
take
a
car
is
what
they
tell
you,
and
that
to
me
is
unacceptable
and
more
dangerous
than
the
possibility
of
running
into
a
bear.
I
would
not
recommend
bringing
your
pet,
but
if
you
do
travel,
make
sure
that
the
Forestry
side
is
open.
Unfortunately
it
was
not
for
us
because
of
the
fires.
Otherwise,
if
you
dont
have
a
pet,
then
the
trails
are
well
kept,
and
lots
of
fun
with
trails
for
all
skill
levels.
Moro
Rock
was
definitely
a
highlight
for
the
absolutely
stunning
views.
Most
of
the
interp
placards
give
good
information
and
interesting
nuggets
of
information
about
the
history
of
the
National
Park
Service.
